July 2, 2020 - This…read morewas the most pleasant and amazing hair removal process I have ever gone through! I booked my appointment while abroad and it was definitely worth the trouble to connect to them! Scheduling: Scheduling was super easy! Schedule online through their website or call ahead. Service: I scheduled a Brazilian sugaring and full-leg sugaring. The process was NOT painful, especially compared to my previous hair removal processes at other businesses. This time I was seen by Kristyn, but I've also been sugared by Danielle, Mimi, and Jillian. I asked Kristyn about any suggestions for my ingrown hairs and she helped me get rid of as many as her time allowed. She gave me suggestions on exfoliating tactics! Decor: The center is extremely clean. The rooms were lit and decorated very nicely. I am so sad I do not live around Claremont but this my go-to spot for whenever I'm back in town. I wish I could give more than 5 stars and will recommend their services to anyone interested in hair removal.

Waxing is a bit expensive but it lasted me about 2-3 months before I had to get it done again.

I have also booked eyelash extensions with her and they turned out gorgeous! I recommend trying eyelash extensions with her if you haven't already. The customer service is excellent…read more You're greeted right away when you walk in, everyone is super friendly, and the salon is really clean and cute inside. I was also impressed with how fast and detailed they are. My cuticles were completely cleaned up. They removed my old set, did a new hard gel set with cat eye design and gems, all in about an hour and 10 minutes! Nothing felt rushed either, and I loved how my nails turned out. Definitely recommend Linda! I'll for sure be coming back.

I chose Mirai Nail Salon in Claremont based on their excellent reviews, so I was expecting a…read morequality experience. Unfortunately, my visit was extremely disappointing. Since Mirai does not offer acrylic nails, I agreed to try their Gel-X service. My natural nails were cut down in preparation for the application. What should have been a routine appointment turned into a nearly four-hour ordeal. The Gel-X application alone took approximately three hours, followed by another hour for a basic pedicure. For the amount of time spent and the price charged ($130 before tip), I expected a much better result. The nails are uneven, overly thick, and have an unnatural appearance. Several nails curve dramatically downward, creating a claw-like look rather than the clean, natural shape Gel-X is known for. Looking underneath the nails, there are noticeable gaps and inconsistencies in the application. I left feeling disappointed instead of happy with the finished product. The most frustrating part is that I paid a premium price and invested half my day, only to come home considering removing the nails myself. I rarely leave negative reviews, but when a service costs this much and takes this long, the quality should reflect it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend the Gel-X service at Mirai. I genuinely wish them well, but I will not be returning.
