Well we didn't find anything we wanted so we held on the the certificate. Went in today, and they are refusing to honor it because they want proof of purchase for a Christmas present from a few years ago. so my mother in law who purchased the gift is now out the $100 and the business just gets to keep free money. Very bad business!

When I went there the manager said she didn't know anything about it and couldn't find my name in the system so I paid for the saem items a second time and she told me she will speak to someone who she thinks knows about the mix up and agreed to refund me when she gets the info she needs and then said she put my information into the system a second time and would get back to me. I waited well over a month and she never contacted me so I went back into the store to ask what happened she then pretended she didn't know what i was talking about then went to she heard about it then a moment later she gave me every single detail about the conversation. I guess playing dumb didn't work for her especially when it got to the point that her lies got out of control. She then looked for my information again and then said that unless I own a restaurant none of my sales or information is stored at that point I asked her well if that is the case why pretend to add my information on 2 different occasions and then at that point she became angry with me and I said I am trying to treat you like a lady but you just want to sit here and lie to me I guess you are just someone who lies a whole lot and called her a lier. I walked out of her store paying for the same items twice and told her she has lost my business.

The store opened in August 2025 replacing the Old Town Pottery store in the same location. And describing the store, I would say it's on par with the Costco business center on OBT only without the food. The footprint of the store is massive. We interacted with three associates during our visit and each was nice and outgoing offering assistance. Stan F. assisted us at checkout and was really pleasant and professional. A top notch business worth visiting.

They have a good selection of bulk style food items, and just an endless supply of kitchen supplies. I hope to stop in soon and pick up a couple of knives along with a couple of pots and pans that were of interest to me. Valerie is an EXCELLENT teacher-- fun, engaging, and most importantly, flexible. All three of us were at different levels and she was able to gauge our abilities and figure out common things she could teach all three of us while allowing us to pursue our own projects. It was easy to book a lesson and she was very responsive. Not only were the lessons great, the store is beautiful! There is a huge selection of yarns and even better, lots of samples to inspire.
