Technical staff had to be reminded that I needed the feature of shifting high frequencies to lower frequencies in the range I could hear. I had one aid fail about a month left in warranty, the aid was repaired and I felt it was same prior to failure, I requested an appointment by phone message one prior to warranty expiring and after getting no response I left two additional messages. The office coordinator called and said the appointment would not be covered under warranty and that I would have to pay. I took my business elsewhere.

"I just have a quick question." I guess not cause she put me immediately back on hold. When she did come back 4 minutes later, she kept interrupting me and was not nice at all. I'd like to send a letter to these physicians in case they don't know what is happening. Unacceptable. This is a customer or patient's first encounter with their business and she keeps them waiting 18 minutes and is rude on top of it. WOW!! And it wasn't first thing on a Monday morning....

They say they don't know until they bill your insurance company. They should not be charging for some of the services at all. It should not cost anything the have a hearing aid check. They also bill the insurance company for a hearing check. And what they charge is way over what the insurance covers, so you end up paying out of pocket as well. There are several places in Lincoln, NE you can get your hearing checked and hearing aids checked FREE of charge, but Christensen is NOT one of them. Don't be fooled by they saying they don't know how much it will cost you. Believe me it will cost you an arm and a leg. Check out Nebraska Hearing Center first. There are also others in Lincoln, check places that will let you know BEFORE they serve you how much it will cost.

I called in to schedule my initial appointment. I was greeted by a really rude receptionist. I didn't get her name but I was turned off because I thought if the front office staff treat potential patients or their current patients like I was treated I was in big trouble. It is bad enough I was really sick and I needed to be seen. Begrudgingly, I went ahead and scheduled an appointment. After hanging up, I thought about how poorly I was treated. I thought to myself do I really want to see Ms. Grumpy face to face? Do I want to be treated like a doormat? I decided I was so sick I didn't want to be treated that way. I called Ms. Grumpy back. I canceled my appointment. I bluntly told her she was very rude. I didn't give her a chance to respond and I hung up.
