I was on hold for 18 minutes, YES, you read that correctly 18 minutes. After 14 minutes I hung up, thinking I had been forgotten. No, the very rude receptionist told me she was very busy. "I just have a quick question." I guess not cause she put me immediately back on hold. When she did come back 4 minutes later, she kept interrupting me and was not nice at all. I'd like to send a letter to these physicians in case they don't know what is happening. Unacceptable. This is a customer or patient's first encounter with their business and she keeps them waiting 18 minutes and is rude on top of it. WOW!! And it wasn't first thing on a Monday morning....

After pursuing a refund with the backing of my insurance, I was finally refunded the excess amount. Technical staff had to be reminded that I needed the feature of shifting high frequencies to lower frequencies in the range I could hear. I had one aid fail about a month left in warranty, the aid was repaired and I felt it was same prior to failure, I requested an appointment by phone message one prior to warranty expiring and after getting no response I left two additional messages. The office coordinator called and said the appointment would not be covered under warranty and that I would have to pay. I took my business elsewhere.

It feels like I've come home. I got my first set of hearing aid through Complete Hearing. I really…read moreliked them but I wanted rechargeable hearing aids. My Insurance sent me elsewhere. I got a new set of hearing aids and in less than three years, the left one needed to be replaced four times. It still wasn't working. Frustrated, I returned to Complete Hearing and saw Dr. Sandra Miller. I walked out with new hearing aids that are rechargeable and I can hear in both ears. They are absolutely incredible. Having been to a couple of different hearing aid places, I can tell you that Complete Hearing does a more thorough hearing test than I've had anywhere else. Not only did Dr. Miller test my hearing the usual way, she also tested my cochlea. She took plenty of time to adjust the hearing aids and to explain how to use them with the app on my phone. I read the other reviews. All I can say is that those folks have not been to other providers. Complete Hearing is top-notch.

When I went up to pay for them she said that would be $75. I said I thought you said $50. Yes, but it's $25 because they had to reconnect them to app on my phone. My complaint is this: I can reconnect them myself and had tried several times, but there is this one button that got closed that should have been on. If they had spent time with me when I received the hearing aids explaining this I can handle it myself. That's not the service you expect from a hearing aid specialist. I should have gone to COSTCO and paid 1/2 the price. Then I wouldn't have been so disappointed.

They say they don't know until they bill your insurance company. They should not be charging for some of the services at all. It should not cost anything the have a hearing aid check. They also bill the insurance company for a hearing check. And what they charge is way over what the insurance covers, so you end up paying out of pocket as well. There are several places in Lincoln, NE you can get your hearing checked and hearing aids checked FREE of charge, but Christensen is NOT one of them. Don't be fooled by they saying they don't know how much it will cost you. Believe me it will cost you an arm and a leg. Check out Nebraska Hearing Center first. There are also others in Lincoln, check places that will let you know BEFORE they serve you how much it will cost.

Schmid…read more brushed off my concerns and acted like i was dumb for questioning a diagnosis i now know was completely wrong after speaking to another doctor. Schmid said "because you're sometimes having ulcers with your post nasal drip is can't possibly be connected to your nose or the nerves in it" (not the exact words but as close as i can remember) only for me to tell that to my general nurse practitioner and my GI doctor. both saying while it's possible it's not related to call it totally not possible is a bunch of bunk. idk about the other doctors there but don't go to see schmid. you'll be wasting your time.

I was assigned to Dr Jesse Schmid, and I have rarely felt more cared about than at this office! On exam, he found a severely-deviated septum and a bone spur blocking air flow. For insurance reasons, I had to try and fail medical therapy before surgery. I finally had the surgery two weeks ago, and already, it has improved my life.
