If you go to Classic Collision I strongly advise you stay away from having their claims adjuster…read morenamed Alan be the one in charge of any part of the process of your car being there to be assessed or repaired. He was completely dishonest from the first time we met him til the day we picked up our vehicle which was almost a month. He was never honest with us when we asked for updates on status of vehicle and lied about even having parts to the vehicle. We always had to call to get any update from him and even then the updates were false. Even after taking it up with the owner his promise for honesty was short lived as he went to dishonesty about status of vehicle and when we would get it back. Not to mention he didn't even include the damaged tire in the claim and if we didnt bring it up we still would of had a damaged tire on our vehicle. Alan made this experience by far the worst one we've ever had and cost us so much money out of pocket due to having to leep rental car longer every time he'd extend the cars length of being ready.

I went with their recommendation of replacing my stock bumper with a Rubicon X bumper and tucking a small-diameter (but heavy duty) Warn winch inside the new bumper. Very slick. Good work at a good price, and he threw in some freebies (four red tow hooks and an outrageous winch hitch). Make sure you communicate fully: I had chosen the Rubicon X bumper based on images online, which showed it as a full-width unit. They mounted it as a stubby, without the outside extensions. At after looking at it, I decided that it was seriously bad-ass, and I kept it that way. Makes it easier to get rubber on a tall rock, too. (Plus the extensions are crazy expensive: stubby about $800 MSRP, extensions around $500 MSRP.) I'm going back tomorrow morning to have them pull off my Jeep Sahara running boards and replace them with Rubicon rock rails. I expect no problems. The reviewer who noted that they keep the replaced parts is probably right. If you want to keep your parts, just ask. I didn't have any use for my OEM bumper. I asked about getting a credit for it, and he said that he has a pile of them in the back but he'd be glad to toss in in the back of my Jeep. I wasn't in the mood to Craigslist a used bumper. The same thing will happen tomorrow with my running boards. I don't need 'em and I don't want the hassle of getting a few bucks for them. Note this, though: The price for pulling off the running boards and installing the rock rails was fantastic. Less than I would pay for the rails alone. I'm guessing that he can give a decent discount because he re-sells the running boards. Fine by me.
