I cannot take NDAIDS, I've had very bad reactions to Lyrica and Gabapentin. In the previous year before seeing him I changed to a Mediterranean anti inflammatory diet. No processed foods, no sugar, no artificial sweeteners, only oils are olive and avocado. I'd lost 60 pounds over the year. I had a list of things I ate and did not eat. I swim regularly. He fat shamed me, called me a liar and sent me on my way! Then in my medical record he wrote something lame like high chance of addiction!!! I have a letter from my doctor up in Wisconsin stating that I was not addicted to opioids and nowhere in my chart is it ever even suggested! Thankfully I have a legitimate pain management doctor now. This place is so bad they closed!!!

He also discussed my case with the medical student in an open area where everyone could hear what was being discussed, including me, and I was in one of the rooms behind closed doors. If you're looking for relief for your pain, not even pain medication, just pain relief or management, this doctor will not help you at all. Don't waste your time! If I could give zero stars, I would because he has no compassion whatsoever.

I have suffered from multiple herniated discs, buldging discs, sciatica, misplaced hip, etc and have been to several chiropractors, back surgeons, Pain clinics etc, and hands down Dr Alberto is the best. He was hilariously funny, caring, personable, and really advocated for the best treatment for me. Having 3 small children it means the world to me and my family to be at my best, and now I can. My quality of life has improved amazingly, I can mop, clean not bend over in agony or worry about having to fall and sprain my ankle again due to my ankle losing mobility from prior nerve damage. I have been seeing Dr. Torres now for a few years for pain management for what would finally be determined to be fibromyalgia. I have sever back issues and numbness in my legs and Dr. Torres has been able to control my pain with a combination of medicine and shots into the nerves of my back. Dr. Torres is one of those doctors who listen to your concerns and does not rush thru an appointment. He is very through with me as a patient. I also way love this staff here. They always call to remind me of my appointments and make sure I stay on up of my refills. This location is in a strip mall with several other business around it. I would highly recommend him and his office. He does have several locations so call and see which location he is in.
