I would come in for monthly exams get my prescription refilled, no problem. Then she moved her practice to a new building she started pushing her surgical procedures. So in the hopes of relief I agreed. During the procedure I felt a burning tingling sensation in my left arm and it flopped around on its own? A while after this I developed what is called Transverse Myelitis at T-1 ( same spot where she injected me?) coincidence? Maybe? Next came legalized Marjiuana She started pushing CBD Oils had a whole room dedicated to it. I declined that! Now it is implanted electrical stimulators, I also declined having this put inside of me. So now She has decided I no longer need to take opioids and has discontinued my medication! Stating opioids are not a long term solution, but I have had 4 doctors in 3 states over a 24 years period prescribe these medications for my injuries ( spinal fusion, multiple fractures in the ankle & knee + Transverse Myelitis) 24 years seems like a long term solution? Never have I used my meds off label, nor have any doctors ever questioned my use. I take regular urine test and never an issue. So if you're not willing to be poked & prodded and used as a Guinea Pig for "New Treatments" (money makers). Then Southlake Pain Institute & Julie Saranita is probably not for you in my opinion.

I cannot take NDAIDS, I've had very bad reactions to Lyrica and Gabapentin. In the previous year before seeing him I changed to a Mediterranean anti inflammatory diet. No processed foods, no sugar, no artificial sweeteners, only oils are olive and avocado. I'd lost 60 pounds over the year. I had a list of things I ate and did not eat. I swim regularly. He fat shamed me, called me a liar and sent me on my way! Then in my medical record he wrote something lame like high chance of addiction!!! I have a letter from my doctor up in Wisconsin stating that I was not addicted to opioids and nowhere in my chart is it ever even suggested! Thankfully I have a legitimate pain management doctor now. This place is so bad they closed!!!

If she thinks she knows more than the patient that's trying to get information. She won't allow you to speak to the doctor. She won't allow you to speak to the lady who handles everything. She goes back and speaks in your behalf and doesn't say anything that you were trying to get through. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever especially with staff and then the doctor is standing running in front of me. He wouldn't even answer any questions for me. He told me you have to see me first and I was just trying to show him paperwork and he wasn't having it so this is the biggest joke and I was referred to these people from a very well-known doctor and that's the biggest disappointment that this doctor could ever do as send referrals to this guy and that staff!!!!

I have suffered from multiple herniated discs, buldging discs, sciatica, misplaced hip, etc and have been to several chiropractors, back surgeons, Pain clinics etc, and hands down Dr Alberto is the best. He was hilariously funny, caring, personable, and really advocated for the best treatment for me. Having 3 small children it means the world to me and my family to be at my best, and now I can. My quality of life has improved amazingly, I can mop, clean not bend over in agony or worry about having to fall and sprain my ankle again due to my ankle losing mobility from prior nerve damage. I can take my kids to a theme park without being in agony trying to keep up my pace.
