Their team is always reliable--quickly resolving errors, assisting with reports, and helping set up goal and performance reviews. For me they are the gold standard of customer service. They always go above and beyond to do their best in answering my questions, tweaking the system to meet my needs, and helping me out when I've made an error and need emergency clean-up. Big company payroll product, small company service and support. I can't say enough good things about them.

Tried to tell us all our taxes were done wrong and charge us all kinds of fees (including when we decided to leave them). We went on a search to find a new accountant and after interviewing A LOT of people, we found Jeff and his wonderful associates. This was only a few days before the taxes were due and they totally came through for us. They completed our business taxes as well as two sets of personal taxes. All went smoothly and we couldn't be happier with them. I highly recommend Jeff and the team.

Professional expectations not met; significant communication lapses…read moreI am sharing my experience as a business owner of 20 years to provide a transparent look at the service provided by this firm. In my experience, Jeff is an excellent salesman who is very reassuring on the phone and tells you exactly what you want to hear regarding service levels. However, once the engagement began, I found that the actual performance did not match the initial promises; when it came time to execute the work and answer questions, he became effectively unreachable. My experience included the following: * Communication Gaps: Despite choosing their highest-tier service plan for its 48-hour communication policy, dozens of emails from my business partner and me went unacknowledged throughout the year. * Delayed Reporting & Financial Impact: I requested my books be finalized by mid-December to allow for year-end tax planning. Because this was not done, I was unable to make strategic business purchases before the year-end deadline, which resulted in a significant financial disadvantage for my company. * Filing Accuracy: Upon seeking a second opinion from another tax professional, I was advised that two deductions on my filed return were applied incorrectly. This has necessitated a formal amendment to my filing. * Unfinished Deliverables: Work on my books for the prior year did not substantively begin until after the calendar year had already ended, despite my repeated requests for completion throughout the fourth quarter. Based on my experience, I would caution other business owners that the responsiveness promised during the onboarding process may not reflect the reality of the day-to-day service.

Terrible service! They do not communicate well, and delayed tax preparation and nobody calls you…read moreback, even when you give everything early. This last tax season they fired my tax preparer who is a family member and locked her out of the office. Now I get a notice that they can't help us this year after a decade of paying them to prepare our taxes. My parents also received the same notification in the mail instead of our annual tax preparation packet because they are too busy to help loyal clients that they screwed over the year before. Not even a phone call, just a letter, sorry, we are too busy to help loyal clients. If they were planning on dropping clients they should have said something after they screwed up last year. It really makes me worry what shady stuff happened and if my prior years were legit or messed up. Definitely a poor handling all the way around. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this one earned less than one star. To not be notified until December that instead of getting a tax prep packet to get a "You have been dropped and need to find a new place is a slap in the face. And there was only one person that called back one time ever, even when calling the main line. Way to take care of a long time client, and drop my entire family. If you were going to drop us we should have been notified after last April when you fired her. That's 8 months of wait to find out that your tax preparers won't be helping you. Highly impersonal service. And that's 8 less months to find a good accountant/CPA.

They provide a packet of what documents are needed and I just complete those and return them to the office. That would have been very stressful to try to find another tax preparer.
