Would highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking to buy or just have some service…read moredone. The decor evokes a bygone era with old antique toy cars and signage and so does the way they do business. Not sure what other issues people had in these reviews but I've dealt with car places for decades and this has been the best experience I've ever had. We paid under 7k sticker on an older van. We didn't make anyone's month or probably even week when we walked out the door with a car. The old van we got started to have some malfunctioning of a door from an electrical panel getting wet about a week after we took it home. They fixed it at no charge to us and it wasn't because we complained or threw a tantrum. They wanted us to be happy with the purchase even though it wasn't a big sale. We will absolutely go back there for service and look there any time we look to purchase because of our experience. Side note: the waiting room is stocked with kids play table and loads of things to keep the kids busy.

Not one person acknowledged me until a young gentleman in the very back finally spoke to me. He said he was newly transferred there. Overall, it was NOT a very welcoming experience in Marne. Later that day, I went to the car lot and asked whether paying cash would help with putting some money down or getting a better deal. I was told, "No, because we make less taking cash." I then asked if the price was negotiable and was told no, they wouldn't come down on the price. Later that evening, I used their online chat. A woman took my name, phone number, and my offer and said she would pass everything along to the manager to see what they could do. That was 8/21. Today is 8/23, and I still haven't received a phone call, text, or any response whatsoever. Communication and customer service go a long way when someone is seriously considering purchasing a vehicle. Unfortunately, my experience here was enough that I would personally avoid this place.

Originally I took my car to Firestone (who, for what it's worth, have always been great to work…read morewith as well) for a rattle and they thought it was something to do with my differential (which they don't do work on) so they referred me out to Bud & Ray's for them to have a look at it. It took a little while for me to get in (about 2 weeks) but I was really impressed with the service. Everyone was super friendly and I was able to talk to the technician who looked at my car directly. They ended up determining that I didn't need any work done and the rattle was just a loose heat shield and only charged me $25 and sent me on my way. I'd highly recommend them if you need transmission work - and - given the wait time and the fact the lot was absolutely packed when I dropped the car off I'm guessing I'm not the only one who feels that way. I really appreciated the honesty and the ease of communication (texting!). 10/10.
