I was having an electrical issue with my Toyota Tacoma, my tail light fuse kept blowing. I stripped my truck apart but I could not find any ground so I took it into CAC. They spent two days having to rip the truck apart and finally found the a grounded wire taped to the junction box. Apparently from the previous owner who did a poor job rigging up a towing package. I would've never found this ground and it took them a long tedious time finding it. They kept me in the loop the entire time and for the amount of work they put into finding the ground, the bill did not reflect it. Thank you so much to the folks over at Complete Auto Care. I'd give this place a 0 if I could. We had gone next door to Reliable Transmission for some work and they did a great job. Our Nissan Xterra (2007) had an engine service light come on and we took it back to Reliable. They couldn't do work and suggested place next door which is Complete Auto. Please do NOT take a car here and think you will get correct information and good care. I recommend taking your car to Larrys in FM and letting Mike take a look. The service they performed was slipshod and cheap and then cost were jacked up. Last straw was four catalytic converters to be put in. We haggled over making decision and decided ok since Reliable was so good we'd let folks at Complete do the work. The car never ran completely right again. Fast forward 4 mos and engine light now goes from staying solid to blinking. So I called and they said bring it on in. Now please understand I know they have the equipment to diagnose issues by scanning computer codes. They came back and said nope not catalytic converters but something entirely different. They were right on that. There was a second coil and spark plug issue that Mike at Larry's helped me out on. Price was excellent and he called and communicated everything. The sad part is I wish I could have had him do all work. After checking at Nissan for their judgement on scan they recommended same thing Mike did. However once Mike pulled old spark plugs he made note that one of the bad ones was only meant for a lawn mower!!! Incredible those were done at Complete earlier. Still unsure if the catalytic converters they put in were factory made or after market and after calling and asking the women inside I couldn't get anyone to tell me an accurate answer were they new or not!?!? Please run and don't walk to another car place. This one isn't up to quality standards. read more
