I hesitated on a single star, but then realized that these are peoples family members!!!! In June 2021 I was running a few minutes behind on PICKING up Bailey (the deceased/ashes). I lived in summerlin and had encountered some traffic.... I called and let them know I was running a few minutes behind and the OWNER rudely told me to come back tomorrow. I had to beg for him to stay open 5 minutes after! Upon arrival a gentleman walks in the same time as me with his deceased pet. Instead of just simply giving me (the deceased) Bailey back to me ....I had to awkwardly wait over 25 minutes while every detail was explained. I like to think that someone who has owned a business for 20 years would understand the common knowledge of prioritization. Did you tell the man you were closed? Had he called.... Nope.... Yet I called and was rudely told to hurry up! I would never tell someone to hurry up and as soon as they walk through the door wait on another UNEXPECTED guest for 20 minutes. But they already had my money and they knew I wasn't going to leave so YES.... I think that was very DISTASTEFUL.....Now fast forward to April 17, 2026. I go to pick up my buddy Benson (deceased/ashes) and again it's over a 15 minute wait... but get this.... THEY CANT FIND HIM!!! By this time I'm nauseous and step outside to get some air and sit in my car for a second ..... what I see next is APPALLING!!! A man driving the '"Compassionate Pet Cremation" van open up the back hatch and takes blue bags (one would assume of the deceased) and throws them on top of a barrel/table in the back. Mind you it's 75/80 degrees out..... they charge $140 for them to come and get your loved ones and throw them in TRASH BAGS!!! I go back inside and they tell me they had him under the wrong name and they were sorry. I the ask if they do military discount and they say yes 20% yet never offered to adjust my purchase amount ;/ One times a fluke Two times is a NO GO for me May wanna take "Compassion" out of your business name! Also listed my dog as 25 years old on the certificate :/ he was 15 I'll post that when I get a picture! And don't place your shortcomings on your employees! This was done by THE OWNER and it appears that every negative review posted on here has some drawn out explanation instead of "I'm sorry" or "How can we do better" You just don't care. The basic package includes a tin container for the ashes, an " in memory of" frame with a plaster paw impression and a certificate of creation. The frame also includes cuttings of my pets hair that is nicely tied and added to frame. I decided to deliver my baby myself. This allowed me to see all of their options and make upgrades like the wooden box and ink imprint of his nose and paw. His ashes were ready in a timely manner. When I got home I opened everything and noticed that the box slides open on the bottom. When I opened it I saw that they even put a clipping of his hair and labeled with his name. Sadly, my wife and I had to put down our 19 year old cat as her kidneys had given out. We wanted to be able to have her cremated, but we also wanted her little body to be well taken care of throughout the entire process. When we contacted a different service first, we were told that we couldn't even make an appointment for cremation until they received her body, which seemed ludicrous to us. They were cold and didn't seem to care at all about our pet. I then searched Yelp and found Compassionate Pet Cremation. I called the same day our cat was put down, and Noami (the receptionist) was so kind and informative. She helped us set up a time for the next morning for a viewing in addition to the cremation. It was important for us to have a viewing because it helped give us closure. When we arrived at the facility the next morning, Noami greeted us and explained the process to us. Rachel, their manager, came out to us and gave us all the time we needed in the viewing room to say a final goodbye to our sweet girl. When we were ready, they wheeled her back so that Jess, their artist, could take paw and noseprints to make memorials for us. We opted to watch the entire process of the cremation, and the entire time, Rachel and Jess came in the viewing room to talk to us and let us share so many stories about our girl. When the process was finished, we were able to take our cat home in a beautiful urn the same day, which was also important to us. This September was my first time having to experience this journey of putting my first fur baby down. I knew I wanted her to stay with me forever and I found Compassionate Pet Cremation upon researching and also had a dear friend Veterinarian recommend this business as well. I am appreciative of the service this place provided and am thankful for getting my baby back and the beautiful paw print they gifted me. BUT I do feel like I need to be honest about the customer service we were provided. Our dog crossed the rainbow bridge the morning of September 1 and we brought her into the office once it opened. My husband had her wrapped in a blanket and once we opened the door the employee sitting at the desk didn't even look up at us and just told us to put the animal on the table. With out really any discussion or "compassion" he just asks if we had an urn or needed one and we can look around at their options if so. As this was my first experience with cremation I wasn't sure of what or how any of it works. We go into the room next to the main office to look at the Urns they had for options and there is a couch in there, I'm sure for grieving pet owners. There was an employee laying on the couch just playing on her phone. Didn't get up, didn't say anything to us, just laid there. At first I tried to give her the benefit of doubt that she was a grieving owner as well but realized she was not. Yes it's just a simple thing but I felt it was super disrespectful. We walked back to the main office and I asked if we didn't pick one out what we would receive our loved one back in and they did provide a complimentary urn which was kind. But with no communication the employee just asks who's name and contact info we wanted to put on.. we pay for it and he goes " ok well you can take your time and say your goodbyes" Never explained to us or even talked to us about what was going to happen next and how it works until I asked. A couple days later I returned a phone call and they asked me if there was a voicemail, I said no and The lady goes okay let me put you on hold...about 5 mins later a different woman gets on the phone with me and then proceeds to tell me that they LOST my dog. They couldn't find her. Said maybe she's still in processing? But they didn't know and would call me back. I insisted on staying on hold until they found her. About 10 mins later she gets back on and tells me they found her and she was ready. I know this was a long story but my interaction with this company was not a pleasing "compassionate " interaction. I understand they are used to death and do this every day and I really give them credit and respect for it. But for grieving parents who are not used to this, it's an incredibly hard emotional situation. I didn't need them to hold my hand and tell me they're sorry for me, I just wanted compassion and respect because I was trusting them with my loved one and I feel like I got the total opposite of that. read more

I am very grateful that I found this place I can seen in the yelp pictures all the Thank You cards on the boards and if a business is over flowing with so much Thank You cards then I know that I found the right place not to mention the positive yelp reviews. The waiting room has a nice soothing water fountain and for me it was more personal as I held our pet of 12 years in my arms next to the peaceful sounds of the water fountain.
