Do not go here Dr Aydar was late for my appointment and the she earned the honor of being the only 215 Dr I've ever met who does not believe in the benefits of Marijuana. This place is a scam that will give you a 60 day card for $100. Go into Berkeley or the city they all beat this place hands down. This is my first actual review I've written regarding a doctor's office I rarely write any reviews unless the service is horrible or excellent - this particular review definitely falls into the second catagory! ! I did not even have an appointment, and yet the front desk girl (Samantha is her name I THINK. .) Told me 'no problem' and was GENUINELY nice and explained the ENTIRE process to me. I met with the doctor *(Dr. Robertson , I believe..) and AGAIN did NOT feel rushed and he answered almost all my questions, and when I went BACK to talk to the desk girl to actually GET my paperwork, I had one or two other questions that I forgot to ask the doctor, and without missing a beat and with a REAL smile and REAL concern, she helped me out. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs a recommendation and I will never visit any other doctors office again. To say the professionalism was extraordinary would be a great understatement and all of my questions and concerns had genuine and honest answers. Highly recommended five star service all the way!! Ps: after reading several other reviews regarding the price? All I can say is this: you get what you pay for. I am writing to state that unlike many people who've posted here regarding CHO, I had an acceptable experience with them on multiple occasions at two different locations including Vallejo. The Dr. was late for my first visit, but aside from that there were no service-oriented problems. Brought some documentation and ID, paid my fee, answered a few appropriate questions regarding my conditions, and was on my way. It did strike me as odd when the owner-doctor stated that she believed inhaling the smoke or vapor of the flowers was ineffective and that only topical oil would work. Aside from their high fees and mildly eccentric vibe, I would rate the place as average. read more

If I could give no stars I would! Extremely unprofessional! Dr that issued my card license expired and made me unable to purchase medication. Called the company and told them, they said they had no idea his license expired. Hello? Isn't that the only thing that you need to keep track of? Then I received several phone calls from who I presume it's the hbic of the company and tho she apologized for the inconvenience she spent the majority of the phone calls trying to get more money out of me before I was even given the replacement certificate. She tried to sell me a renewal for 80 with a 20 discount for the inconvenience. First off, that renewal price is way overpriced considering most other renewal rates. I told her I didn't have the money just to get her off of the sales pitch, then she had the nerve to ask me how much money I had. At the end of the conversation I told her that how about they correct there mistake and give me the license I already paid for before you try to take anymore of my money. She said that they'd issue me a new one and they would leave a note at there Vallejo office to give me a replacement. I showed up today at 2:20 pm and they were supposed to be open until 2:45 pm. No one was there. I called there number which goes to the Santa Rosa office and told them this and they said to go to the Santa Rosa office it Oakland office. I told her how do I even know if they'd be open compared to the kind of standards they apply at there Vallejo office. Secondly, the condition in which the reason being for me to even have license is due to anxiety while driving at increased speeds and they know that! They issued the license for crying out loud. Now they want me to drive to Oakland or Santa Rosa to fix they're mistake? Also, the way the lady took the info I was giving her were as if this is the status quo for them that they leave early, I guess at there discretion. Unreliable, unaccountable, and a total inconvenience of an operation. Don't waste your time with them, there is nothing compassionate about this company! read more

Dr. solomon barely gave me any time, did not want to do exam himself but wanted current medical records and told me to go see a doctor first??? wasnt that why i came to see you? This visit was more than I hoped for. It was my first visit to any pot doc, so I don't have the best frame of reference. I had heard that medi-cann is really good about getting you in and out and I was going to go to them, but they were about to close and cho was closer. Dr. Aydar is a doctor that does care about your well being and she gave me great medical advice. Medi-cann, I hear, doesn't look you in the eye. I also think that my visit was good because I had the right documents to show my condition, though they were a little old and dr. Aydar recommended that I have a more recent statement from my regular doctor, but finding a regular doctor has been half of my problem! I was afraid I had wasted $90 and I was only going to get a shorter recommendation due to lack of up-to-date documents, but she understood my problem and how it has persisted. I do want to warn anyone without the right records to back up your condition that you might pay for a shorter recommendation than you hope for as they i saw on the back of the paperwork they can be monthly, but with good documentation you'll get your year rec. Dr. Aydar also really made me more conscious of my condition in the right way, suggesting a plan for the future. It was stuff I mostly knew already, but it was still refreshing to hear in this day and age when half of the doctors I see seem clueless and don't know a muscle from a bone. Though I can admit, if I didn't get the full recommendation and had the same experience otherwise, I'd be furious but I also don't know how the pay scale works on revisits. DO NOT GO HERE! This place is VERY unprofessional. The oriental girl at the front said..."I wrote essays in exchange for medicine" while talking to a patient in there. I thought it was really unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable. I am pregnant and use topicals for my back pain. The only place I get them is from a cannabis shop. I have had my card for a year and have been legally going into the shop and purchasing the things I need. I went in there WITH and APPOINTMENT (Dr. Patel) and didnt even see the doctor. The receptionist was being nosey and said "oh you are having a baby? well the doc prob wont approve that" I was completely embarrassed as there were other patients in the room at the time. She made me feel like a horrible person and didnt even give me a chance to sit down with the doctor. I would have at least liked to be told in private that I was denied my card. My fiance went back and got his card then came out and she basically said that I couldnt even talk to the doctor myself for my appointment. Please be considerate of your patients privacy. This is the typical kind of place that gives every doctor a bad name. Unprofessional to its fullest. FUll price for a renewal was $90 its cheaper other places. I have never been so embarrassed to have used medical marijuana. The doctor didnt even come say anything or show her face. Id give 0 stars if I could. :) read more

I would have given 1 star, but the front desk lady was really nice! The doctor was a nice enough guy, though the way the conversation went threw me off. He looked through my documentation (last 5 years of recommendations and records from another doctor) and proceeded to tell me it's too dated and he can't read it anyway. I answered all the questions about my previous diagnoses and medications hoping to help him get the big picture... I was slightly insulted when I told him one of the medications I used to take to sleep (the other FDA approved use is an anti psychotic at high doses) "well that's not the only thing it's used for".. I'm not sure he meant it that way but he definitely insinuated that I was prescribed for psychotic episodes. I walked out with a 60 day recommendation... They said I could have it changed to a 12 month recommendation if I go to a planned parenthood about my sleeplessness and anxiety... I understand they have to work within the laws, but not much of this appointment made much sense besides him telling me "vaporizing is healthier for you"... I was so embarrassed I even forgot to ask for a paper of the current laws which my old doctor would put in the folder they sent you home with... Debating weather to humiliate myself some more to save some $ or just take a drive to my old doctor... I'm sure there are some good experiences there, but I definitely did one have one of them. read more

This is the only place I get my Cannabis recommendation because I know they will be in business so that my card can always be validated 24/7. I would only do a video conference with this company because they have my history and nothing is going to change from year to year(other than get worse due to aging). Other places that do Skype....either get run out of town for being shady or the dispensaries will just refuse to accept recommendations from Skype doctors period. Dr Robinson is super cool and isn't just about cranking out recommendations. He diligently looks over your history, asks the right questions, and makes other recommendations besides using Cannabis. This is the kind of professionalism that you can expect here. Samantha is your Girl Friday here....she's got you hooked up with all the paperwork formalities.
