My first time coming in was just before closing time, so I just planned to ask some questions and see what they had available. Ray told me not to worry about the time, he was there to help me with what I needed. And he did- I got the perfect size unit for my family's needs, with an excellent location within the facility, at a reasonable price. The facility itself is impressive- conveniently located, secure but easily accessed by customers, clean, bright, climate-controlled, good pest control, extra-wide aisles, a variety of unit sizes and configurations (e.g., 5x10 or 10x5, etc.) to meet your needs, spacious elevator, automatic doors to/from outside, ample parking and space to pull up your vehicle, and plenty of rolling carts in different sizes to help you move in your things. Add to that the friendly, kind, and helpful staff (in addition to Ray I've dealt with Hope and Caine (sp?) so far), PLUS the added bonus that you can purchase moving supplies and rent Penske trucks from this location! I took advantage of those services as well and it could not have been easier. The only down side of this place is if you have to make a left turn onto 309 when you're leaving- that can be a bit of a challenge, so be sure you leave yourself a few extra minutes for exiting. They ended up running down to Bangor, PA to pickup the pull behind trailer to meet our reservation needs. Apparently, most UHaul rental places charge or do not do this. Anyways, on the day of our move, we picked up the pull behind UHaul trailer from Home Self-Storage. The lady and gentleman in the office went above and beyond to help us out with our rental and make our moving experience much smoother than anticipated. An all around great place with the utmost best personnel. In the future, we would highly recommend Home Self Storage for all your UHaul needs. Thanks again for a great move!
