I love to support local businesses, however I will never go back! 1st let me say that they were not busy, half full. Waited over an hour to get wings which was our appetizer, and had to beg for refills which was the only thing we had for the first hour. My son ordered a burrito(which was the 1st meal to appear) looked great! However it was barely warm! We waited another 10 minutes for another meal at which point we asked for boxes and the check. When you step foot in here, it's like stepping back into what Frackville used to be. They have a full bar menu, but the wings and hot dogs are particularly good. I would say the potential is there to be family oriented, but it is after all still very much a hometown tavern. Long and late hours. Decided to try this place at lunch. Was not crowded but took almost 45 mins to get my food. Waitress was very nice. Got a Cali burger med well. Burger was overcooked, but had a good flavor, the lettuce and tomato were diced. Obviously most of it needed up in the basket. Fried were fresh cut, awesome. Not sure I would consider this place kid friendly, maybe for lunch, but dinner might be a little loud. Place is small but cozy. They has good music playing, but some guy at the bar kept changing the song in the middle or near the end. Kind of annoying. I will probably stop back and try dinner. I suggest parking across the street in the lot, it is a bear to get out of the spot if you park outside the place. read more

This was our second time here. The first time was a few months ago and it was really amazing. We were the first people in on a Sunday afternoon and the owner was trying out a brand new grilled Mahi taco. I told him how much I loved fish tacos and he offered one free of charge since it was a new menu item. It was literally one of the best I've had. My husband ordered a cheese steak which was chunks of prime rib, not shaved meat , in the most luscious cheese sauce ever. We don't live that close to the bar, but always said that we need to go back. What a disappointment our next visit was. No grilled fish tacos, cheesesteak was shaved meat like you'd get anywhere else and we waited for 2 hours for our food. One of the best bars I've ever been to. The service was great and so was the owner and the bar manager. The owner wanted us to have such a good time that he offered to drive my coworkers/friends back to our hotel. 100/10 would recommend stopping by for a drink. Dropped in for lunch. Bartender was very attentive. We both got the burger with fries. Every bite was delicious and i found myself looking forward to the next one. I went there early tonight with my girlfriend because It was recommended to us. Our server took a long time to acknowledge us and ask us if we wanted anything to drink we ordered our drinks and it took over 20 minutes for him to give us a drink. When he came back to ask us what we wanted order we already knew what we wanted we then waited over an hour and a 1/2 to get served any kind of food whatsoever. We tried the Coney fries fries and they were extremely salty and the meat looked like it was from Taco Bell, We also ordered Mac and cheese bites and they were extremely greasy and it looked like a came out of Box of old Mac and cheese, We both ordered the gringo's tacos and again same result the meat It was extremely oversalted and it looked like it was Taco Bell meat. I will never go to that place ever again if you're not part of the "it" crowd you will not be taken care of immediately, They need to work on their people's skills and they need a better cook. I don't think John taffer would even want to rescue this bar he had a choice. read more
