The locally owned pharmacy I normally use stopped carrying one of my family member's medications, so rather than sending my money to a huge chain pharmacy, I tried Community Pharmacy out. The majority of employees that I have dealt with were extremely helpful, but there is a female staff member in the pick-up window who needs remedial training in very basic customer service skills. I understand that her hair really... and, I mean REALLY... needs to be twirled, but my family member also REALLY needs to take this medication. Unfortunately, she is there more times than not when I pick up the prescription, and I can't motivate myself to spend this much money on something (it's the most expensive medication that anyone in my entire family takes) to be treated like I am disturbing an employee with my outrageous efforts to give this business money. She is a deal-breaker for me. I drove directly from Community Pharmacy to my preferred pharmacy to verify that they now have this medication in stock, and I will never return to Community Pharmacy. On the plus side, her attitude ought to perk up considerably with one less pesky customer disturbing her, so maybe that is a win for the company. read more
