Ms. Brown isn't terribly impartial, and she isn't particularly knowledgeable about current family law, which will backfire for someone. Additionally, I was charged twice for some services, and the paperwork that was prepared was completely useless in court. Lots of money wasted. Find a legal technician or just get a proper lawyer. Mediation, especially at Centerpoint, isn't worth the time or money.

His choice to tarnish his reputation with his association with Strassberg also casts a bad light on Dwyer's ethics. Amazing what people will do to make a buck.

Me and my ex partner worked with Tonya Alexander and I could not believe how bad it was. After talking at us for fourth five minutes about simple information we had already figured out going in, I tried to get a few words in and was immediately accused by this woman of "making demands, arm twisting, hammering the nail". My partner couldn't speak at all because he was being over talked by her. We came in with everything worked out thinking she could help us get it on paper. She tore apart what we had figured out and refused to stick to one issue. When we left my ex partner said he could not believe how confrontational this woman was, especially being that her job is to help people work through confrontations. He also said he felt she was speaking to him like a child. This person did not try to hear us out or make us part of the experience. She wanted to dictate how everything was going to go right from the start. Even when my ex partner and I were trying to say we agreed on something, or that we wanted to hear what the other person said, she over talked us and told us it shouldn't be worked out today. Biggest waste of time. Terrible experience. Do not go here.

They were timely in calling me back and setting up appointments. On the phone Kathy was kind and a good listener when it was just she and I. Then when it came time to meet together with my ex-husband, I was very clear that we didn't need to cover the parenting plan as we had already agreed upon that. This is where the negatives come in. She spent 75% of her time making eye contact with my husband and only 25% of the time looking at me. It was clear she felt sorry for him, without knowing any of the details of what I might have experienced in the marriage. She was definitely NOT impartial. Then she proceeds to spend at least 45 minutes (at the exorbitant rate of 250/hour) asking questions that would lead to a parenting plan. It was very clear she wasn't listening to us about not needing a parenting plan. The two hours were a waste of time and 500$ down the drain. I'm bummed because I wanted this place to be a good solution, but it was not.

I gifted my free 15 minute introduction phone call (Second Saturday Gift) to my husband, whom contacted Randy, at Genesis, after checking out the website on his own first. The two of them have a more formal, first phone appointment upcoming. Randall quickly communicated with me their upcoming appointment, what the upcoming plans are and to schedule a time for Randy and I as well. Then we will discuss if Skype is appropriate or how to go from there. My husband and I are residing in different states. Impressive communication so far..I am hopeful. Will not rate higher than 4 stars until I have more than a few minutes of face-to-face working "experience" to share.

Quick to review documents 4. Quick to set up a final appointment 5. All done virtually through a secure system that is user friendly 6. Now I'll be the first to say, I'm pretty lost with profit/losses and book keeping, as I said it's my first time. For the past 8 years I've just used TurboTax for personal, but as I said, first time with a business. Initially you talk with someone over a chat, they ask you questions and you answer them and send them forms. They said they could do my profit/losses for me for about $75 extra, I was fine with it, figured it was worth learning how to do it. Took about a month but finally had my appointment to talk over video (30min). They were 6min late and obviously very tired. I truly felt bad for Yuliya as she seemed so exhausted. We spent the first 18min looking at the Dept. of Washington tax site and she was showing me how to fix my prior quarterly tax filings because she felt I had labeled my business incorrectly. After I showed her what I was doing, she changed her mind and said "I think you're actually fine and doing it right". So that left us 6 minutes to rush through my tax return before her next appointment. In the end I spent $350 to save $3 (the difference in number between what I got in TurboTax vs. having it done by Nationwide). For me, if I would have learned something about better tax reporting for the LLC, it would have been worth it. But it just felt very rushed, very impersonal and honestly I'd rather just go back to doing it myself.
