We last updated our estate plan in 2007, our needs were different, our children were younger, and we lived in a different state. From my first phone call through to signing our new documents, NW Legacy Law took very good care of us: they listened to our questions and concerns (in particular, my concerns about state level estate taxes), provided high quality, efficient, and courteous customer service, and have been a joy to work with. They offer a variety of flat-fee packages that are a good value -- anyone from a young family with minor children and a modest amount of assets on up to a very high net worth individual. We wanted a law firm with strong knowledge of Washington state specific estate matters but we didn't want to have to go to Seattle. We also wanted to avoid using a Portland firm that understandably focuses on Oregon state law and treats WA issues as a side-note. I highly recommend NW Legacy Law for anyone but I particularly recommend it for anyone living on the WA side of the river who has state specific concerns that a Portland firm might not be equipped to address. We worked primarily with Jakob "Jake" Seegmuller but I'm confident that the other attorneys at NW Legacy are just as capable.
