This little bodega was only a 6 minute walk ... but make it 20 minutes if you're like me and want to stop and enjoy the beautiful architecture! There is no seating so expect to grab and go :) I shared a menu of the hot foods available that will be cooked right there on the spot. In fact, Tony himself cooked up my cheesesteak. He was very friendly, introducing himself, as well as the gentleman on register. After enjoying some good music and friendly banter, my food was done. They placed it in a bag for me and went back to my hotel. Tony's cheesesteak was awesome! It comes with the meat and cheese, peppers and onions ... and also mushrooms which I asked to hold off on. It was still nice and warm when I got back to my hotel. All of the ingredients were perfectly blended together so you got a little bit of each ingredient in every bite! It was gooey and filling and not a single dry bite! I was stuffed for the remainder of the day and that was only lunch time! Great little spot I would gladly stop in again if I were local.

A convenience store, that sells Indian food... They do sell some non food items, and snacks, and…read morethe like, but the prices aren't a good deal. Better to go to the dollar store. The food, the cooked food, is...not good... I tried the jalebi and the samosas. I've been wanting to try jalebi for a while now. This jalebi was kind of stale, and not that crunchy. It felt like leftovers. It wasn't awful tasting, but I'm sure there were way better ways to try jalebi. Portion was okay for the price. The samosas were just, some of the worst I've had, ever. One of the sauces seemed to be just like ketchup and the other was watery. The samosa dough was undercooked in some parts, and it almost seemed like some parts were moldy. The stuffing was extremely dry. There were essentially no vegetables. It was seasoned with a ton of spices, but it did not taste like the same spice many Indian restaurants used. Not good, not good. All in all, the Indian food here is just not good, at all. Avoid it for that. The prices aren't good for items, either. Won't be returning.
