Let's see, I have mortgage loans with Wells Fargo, Navy Federal CU, USAA, Aim Loan, Freedom Mortgage, Mr Cooper and several other small regional banks. Have never had any problems with making payments or understanding their expectations. My last loan was bought or serviced by this company and it has been just an awful experience. The company provided a representative upfront which sounded like a joke to me. They must know they stink, because they do. For starters, a payment was due within days after being notified they were the servicing lender. A bit odd, but no problem. Went to register online to make a payment and it was a bad experience, could not register for some reason. Finally, got that taken care of. Next, made a payment after establishing my account. Doubled and triple checked ALL the data I inputted as it was my first time making a payment and due diligene was to the upmost power. Guess what? My payment was rejected due to "insufficient funds". Unbelievable and false. My account has always been healthy. A few months down the road, I got a message stating "there is a concern with your account" after making all payments. What? Unbelievable! Ever get a feeling it is going to be a rough ride? This is exactly what this company has been. If you can run, do not walk from them. That is what I plan on doing. Community Loan Service, Bayview Loan Processing, Bayview Asset Management, and ALLLLLL the other numerous names you go by. With all these names there are a few things in common! One is the SVP who is Brian E. Bomstein & David Ertel. Just visit (Florida Governments Website) sunbiz dot org and do a search for registered agents and place in BOMSTEIN, BRIAN E. or ERTEL, DAVID Look how many names of businesses that he is related to. Which are all very close to Bayview Loan Servicing. Community Loan Servicing which was Bayview Loan Servicing before they performed a name change. The other thing that's in common. All these businesses that are related to Brian Bomstein that I could find all have HORRIBLE reviews. The guy is a scum bag! And this has to stop! I even wrote a book about my experience with Bayview Loan Servicing including a website with all the images, videos, and legal documents. It's called Devil Is Relentless. JPMorgan Chase performed a gross accounting mistake. JPMorgan Chase said that I missed my March 2009 mortgage payment. I NEVER missed my 2009 mortgage payment. I have all the cashed checks showing I never missed my march 2009 mortgage payment. JPMorgan Chase filed a lawsuit against me. In the lawsuit, it states I missed my March 2009 payment. I wrote a letter to the Florida Attorney General and provided the Florida Attorney General with a copy of my bank statements proving I never missed my mortgage payment. JPMorgan Chase responded to the Florida Attorney General and stated that they made a mistake. It wasn't my March 2009 payment. It was my "December 2008" payment. I had provided my January 2009, February 2009, and March 2009 payments to the Florida Attorney General. Now, all of a sudden it's my December 2008 payment. Not only didn't I miss my December 2008 payment including having my bank statements. BUT!!! My credit reports for the past SEVEN years show that JPMorgan Chase NEVER even reported negatively! JPMorgan Chase needed to escape this mistake and sold or GAVE the loan to Bayview Loan Servicing. Bayview Loan Servicing/M&M Mortgage Services BREAKS INTO MY HOUSE...4 FOUR times and numerous, numerous break-in attempts through their partner M&M Mortgage Services! They destroyed the inside of my home when I wasn't home. They stole almost all my belongings. They stalked me, followed me, harassed me. My two amazing dogs were almost killed multiple times including almost being shot! I filed a state and FEDERAL lawsuit. During discovery when they are supposed to turn over all the documents they didn't in the Federal lawsuit. Right before the Federal trial their attorney sends over a stack of documents and said "we forgot". They were all the reports from M&M Mortgage Services that showed that Bayview Loan Servicing ordered M&M Mortage Services to my house! Including pictures of taking my belongings to the Orange County dump. My lawsuit is ongoing! But I WILL NOT ALLOW THEM TO GET AWAY WITH IT! THIS MUST STOP! This HAS TO STOP! Mike employee id# 1020910 refused to give me a supervisor to make a complaint. They refuse to give me a payoff statement.

Horrible company with poor communication and unethical practices. Our loan was under Bayview (which became CLS) and we were under a modification agreement due to financial troubles following the death of our son. We signed the necessary documents and began making payments. (Mind you, the online system would not accept our payments so we had to mail them the old school way.) Our account never reflected our payments and it appeared we were defaulting for a great deal of time. While we were in the 6 month trial period for our modification our loan was sold to a predatory organization without our knowledge or consent. We recently discovered that the modification we signed was never finalized by CLS. We also have no way of seeing the documents because when I log into the website it simply says our loan has been transferred to another serviced. (We foolishly did not scan the modification agreement but had it notarized and sent back to them as instructed. I know now we never should have trusted them.) Now we are fighting for our home, even though we are completely able and willing to pay, because our new "lender" (AMIP - even worse than CLS) is trying to extort money from us with the obvious goal of taking our home. Collecting documentation of all these grievances has become a nightmare - but our lawyer needs it all so we will continue until justice has been served! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Community Loan Servicing bought my mortgage from US Bank. We were in forbearance due to the COVID pandemic when our loan was purchased. I double and triple checked with US Bank that everything was in good order and we were repaying our deferment. When CLS acquired our loan, everything said they were acquiring under the existing terms. We had auto payment made for double mortgage payments from the get go. I also talked with multiple reps to ensure our mortgage was still the same and in good standing through the transfer. I never missed a payment and always took extra care to maintain my credit rating. Unnecessarily and unknown to me, CLS made a negative report to the credit bureaus which caused my credit score to go from 800+ to 573. They reported my mortgage more than 90 days past due. Through repeated attempts at trying to rectify the situation and over a year of hassle working with them, I still got nowhere. We were trying to reopen a business and needed a HELOC but couldn't get financing with my horrible credit score. The company was rude, unhelpful and horrible to deal with during that year. It wasn't until I made a formal negative complaint to the BBB that they finally advised me that although they don't believe they did anything wrong, they'll remove that negative comment on my report. To add insult to injury, a year after our mortgage was sold to another servicer, my wife and I both get letters advising that Community Loan Servicing exposed our personal data in a breach and our social security numbers as well as other PII was leaked. So ultimately, mismanaged our finances, our personal information and caused us tons of stress and frustration for over a year because of their incompetence. I'm totally fed up with my insurance experience with Community Loan Servicing. First I'm given the wrong place to mail the proof of insurance and no one returns the mail or notifies me even though the address is associated with Community. Then I 3 way call community after I discover it never got taken care of and we send community proof of insurance that was accepted... Now I'm getting letters saying my deductible is too high and my insurer is telling me I can't change it this far into the policy... Why did no one at community tell me my deductible was too high when they accepted my proof of insurance!? This is ridiculous that I'm still dealing with this after everything. read more

We received notification that we could refinance our mortgage under the FHA Streamline program and get our rate lowered. We thought "what do we have to lose" so we decided to go ahead with this program since they did not need to pull credit again or anything. While the overall process went smoothly, the coordinator for our loan was the absolute worst. She replied to emails slowly if at all and sent out documents that contained the wrong amounts on them. When we had our closing, the final closing documents had different amounts on them for the Cash to Close amounts. Needless to say, this was a major issue as we were not prepared for this additional amount due. When she was contacted about this the next day, she replied "Oh, those final documents were sent out before we had the final closing figures." That leads me to ask the question, "How can you send out final disclosures until you have all of the FINAL INFORMATION? Another issue that we experienced was she emailed a few days before closing to say that we would receive an email containing the final disclosures and they needed to be e-signed by midnight that day in order to close on time. Needless to say, no email ever came. When I contacted her the next day about this, I was told "Oh, management miscommunicated with her and the documents were actually mailed to the address instead. This company seems to have a communication issue with different departments and it causes issues with their current and potential customers. Needless to say, I hope that our next mortgage will not be with this company as the lack of communication and no personal responsibility concerns me. I do not care who is at fault, take ownership of the issue, resolve it and stop laying the blame at the feet of others. read more

If you are getting a loan, I would find out ahead of time if Community Loan Servicing is who will service it. If so, find another lender. If you have ANY questions on the loan, you WILL NOT be called back. I also do commercial brokerage so deal with a lot of lenders. These people are at the top of being worthless. read more

This Company / Companies is unscrupulous to say the least . They are unprofessional and not at all run like any other company I've every dealt with. They constantly loose material that I send into their departments . They have lost my proof of insurance that the insurance broker and I have sent in to their insurance dept . Your company is the most inept company i ever dealt with. I did not choose this company I was sold to this company. They insist on paying the insurance and taxes but forgot or something to pay the insurance and my policy canceled. I did not get notice of this until sometime later when I realized that my properties were no longer insured. I had to sell my soul to get this insurance reinstated. Then the next year they drastically overpaid the insurance and this completely blew their minds. I paid them back the over-payment they sent to the insurance and they still insist that I owe them even more money. I own a business and cannot believe they can be so unorganized. They just withdrew the money from my checking account although I already paid them. Because they are so unorganized I will probably never get the money they owe me for the over-payment they took out of my account. I seriously do not understand how they are still in business. Our loan was messed up again. This is horrific. It was transferred by Community Loan Services to it's parent company Lake View Loan Servicing. Our FHA loan was modified under the Biden program at Community Loan Servicing - all payments have been on time since Nov. 2021 and the loan was officially modified in Feb. 2022. We received a bill today from Lake View (who just received our loan) claiming that we owe an additional 6k (according to the recorded from Community Loan Servicing) on our already modified ON-TIME FHA loan. The payment went from $1,313.95 a month to $1,794.00 a month. This is nothing short of mortgage fraud and extortion. This needs to be corrected immediately or I am reporting both crooked "companies" who are actually the same company to the CFPB, FCC and our local news station with the entire history and issues from day one, including voice recordings! read more

My father passed away last year and I have been going through nothing but hell with this company. I paid thousands to bring it up to date. I do the responsible thing and get insurance. Then they tell me that the insurance isn't recognized because it wasn't under the estate's name. So they raised my rate almost $100 even tho I had insurance for the address. I provided the information showing so and had the name corrected on the policy to reflect the estate. Was told to pay such and such less and I will be refunded the following month. I did not believe them so I paid in full. Thank goodness.... Only to never see a credit for the months I was over charged. And to be told that $88 was owed. Even tho I over paid. Non of that over charge could be applied to $88 I would have to pay out of pocket again and take it up with the insurance company to get a refund. Honestly, did these people all get hired yesterday? After paying off my mortgage which had been xferred to Bayview Loan Servicing, all I needed was my title and my return of escrowed funds for property taxes. Upon receiving my tax statement I remembered not getting their check, so I call up to find out that they had mailed it and someone else cashed it. Who sends thousands of $$ via regular post?? So they send me a form from Chase, which clearly states I am to complete only part of it, and they are to complete the other parts. I return it within 24 hours to start the investigation, but 10 days later, they say I have to fill out the complete thing. Chase says I am right. No one at Bayview even read the memo! Ineptitude will get you hired there. If you can avoid having to do business with these people, I urge you to not think twice about it. read more

Over a year has passed since my original encounter with bayview loan. I have received a satisfaction of payment letter, and can take that to city hall to request a deed for my house. Community loan servicing is the worst provider ever. Their website is less than useless, as it provides inaccurate information that is months old. They log everything on paper and then port it over to the website whenever is convenient. They ignore your e-messaging preferences, and only send documents through the mail, and don't email about them It takes them months to get simple tax documents that other providers have in days. They offer no ability to get additional loans, helocs, or refinances like literally all other providers. I submitted a payoff quote last week online, and after calling in this week they had no record of me calling in. I have had insurance (through the same original provider), but they decided to go and get secondary insurance anyway. When I sent my proof of insurance to their email address they said they don't use that email address anymore. read more

This company is abusive and predatory. Anyone with issues, I suggest you contact the CFPB and and any other local consumer bureaus .they double charged me one month and for me to get reimbursed, I would have to "prove it" even thou the money was in their account. Then I received letters asking for insurance, which I provided, didn't get even a receipt acknowledgment and then was told they got insurance because I didn't provided it. Once I filed complaints, they called me to say they got the complaint, but only acknowledge the receipt of the insurance after I insisted a LoT! They also said they would refund the amount of the insurance to my account. Now, through my complaint response, they stated my insurance is not what they needed so they will charge me. They are also "rebranding" with a new name probably to hide their terrible reputation that can easily be seen here. If anyone is looking to sue, I would be up to joining in. read more

First of all Bayview loan servicing isn't a bank, it's a collection agency. My bank sold my loan to this collection agency and I lost a lot of my options and rights that a bank can do when I needed help with my loan. My options that my bank could do for me with my loan are, lower the interest, interest only for several years. The collection agency is collecting for a investor and that changes the whole philosophy of my loan that I had with a bank. For several months I was trying to get some relief, forbearance, lower interest, interest only on my house payments. Ms McBean was in charge of either giving me some relief or not. What a joke she was. Asking for the same paperwork over and over. After 6 months I finally was saved. Cheryl contacted me and wanted to help. I explained to her what was going on with Ms McBean, in a couple of days Cheryl had everything done and I got my forbearance. Cheryl saved me and my house. She is the greatest. Hands down, I am having a terrible experience with them. Customer service really is sub-par, it is pretty difficult to get responses from them. When we do get a response it takes weeks. Maybe this is just a case for me because they do not want to work with my family regarding our issue. Here is a little background, we bought a property and took over the originally sellers loan. His loan happens to be under Bayview Loan Servicing. Do to some issues with the property the loan still has to be under his name but we owned the property. The agreement was we were to pay his loan with Bayview till we refinanced the property. Issue #1 -During the refinancing process we discovered that they over charged us by over $10000 and we were due some overage funds. We were thinking okay that is fine, we will just get our money back no problem. Issue #2 - Since the loan was still under the originally sellers name we were afraid they would pay out the overage funds to him (the original seller), even though he DID NOT make the payments. So we tried contacting them and requesting that OUR funds be paid back to US (we made the payments) We sent requests in February and received a reply to this issue late March. Around this time escrow had already closed and they received the payment funds for the the loan. So we were really hoping this could help us out. The reply that we received stated that they DID send the overage funds to the originally seller but they would do stop payment on the check. We thought okay cool we would get our money back, but also thought well that sucks since we requested that our money get sent back to us all the way back in February. But again we thought okay they fixed the issue. Issue #3 - We received another letter back a week later saying the originally seller cashed the check and we are out of luck. Basically now we are sitting here and wondering did they really do a stop payment on the check. They screwed us over even though we sent in the request for help back in February. To make matters worst for us the originally seller is refusing to pay us back the money and now we have to battle this situation out. All in all they have made what I feel was simple issue fix into a nightmare. It sucks because we have to get so many people involved just because the service was lacking. 1/5 Stars, I do not recommend. We are still trying to get our funds back now. read more

I continued to pay my mortgage on time to Chase! In august I received notice that my mortgage was transferred to bayview loan servicing! No notice from cHatease ! As an update. Closing was supposed to be Friday Sept 19th. I told Bayview that my wife had to drive over an hour each way to get to the signing and she was leaving for a week. Of course after waiting for over an hour the notary never showed up and never called. They told me that Bayview didn't send the paperwork over until an hour before the scheduled signing and they needed 2 hours and they informed Bayview of this and I was never told. After talking to Bayview, they told me that I would have to make the payment, 21 days late, and start closing all over again. 3 and a half months later and I'm starting all over again. read more

My Lord, this company has the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service EVER!!! Started with Neil Minott, boy was he a piece of work! Finally got my loan servicer changed to Todd Parry, and in the beginning he seemed like he would be OK, but in the end, he was just like the first. He called me to say that my payment didn't go through that he took 10 days prior, and asked me to check my bank, which I did while he was on the phone, and I confirmed that my account shows the check went out (9 days ago), and because he obviously has many clients, I proceeded to explain to him my unique situation so we could get to the bottom of it, and he kept interrupting my with stuff that was not relevant to my situation. After the 4th time, I told him that if he didn't stop interrupting me that we would never get it solved, and that I needed him to hear the whole situation, so that we were on the same page, and I wasn't going to tell him just half the situation, to which he hung up, and now does not answer the phone when I call. HORRIBLE!!!! If your loan gets transferred here, all I can say is GOOD LUCK!!! I would LOVE for SOMEONE to call me in reference to my loan when they read this. I see the "manager" responds to most all reviews, instead of just a candid response, I'd appreciate a call. You have my number on file by my name I'm sure. read more

I'm sure they're easy to contact if you owe them money but THEY OWE ME MONEY after writing me a 'Bad check'. Now, I can't get anyone on the phone to talk to me, even after "Scheduling an appointment" with them for a call back. It looks like I'll have to take them to court now. It didn't have to be this way.
