All the hardwares, media, toys, etc. are located in the back left part of the store. It appears the "pickens" here are above average compared to your average Goodwill and it is more organized. They have seven dressing rooms, however, four of them are used for storage and only two were open. There are multistall bathrooms here and you don't need a key. One thing I did not see was a collectors/boutique case of higher end items. Definitely one of the better Goodwills that I have visited as the photos below reveal.

Today was a little different because a truck with a trailer got in line before me and they had a lot off stuff to unload. I could have been there 45 minutes for the unload. So instead I packed up my small load of three bags (pales in comparison to the trailer) and took them to the second Goodwill associate. She happily grabbed my items. For more than half of my time in the store I continuously had multiple workers staring me down, and then two just following me around multiple times which gives me the feeling that I'm being looked at like I'm going to steal. This normally wouldn't bother me because I'm not a thief but it bothers me because I've given zero reason for anyone to be looking at me or following me like this. It creates a nasty narrative, and a hostile environment. Until you've been given a reason to need to follow someone, don't... I'm an indecisive person, but I'm also a gay male in a thrift store playing gospel music, so it's bad enough I already feel like I'm not wanted here but to follow me around and look at me while talking to co workers multiple times doesn't put a good feeling on a customer. And there's a chance that maybe this wasn't the case but I'd be an easy target. There's not a huge selection of men's clothes or shoes and if there is it's mixed up with the women's so I look in ever aisle and I feel like I got stares because I was in the women's aisles but there was a plethora of women's things in the men's aisle so maybe they just need to reorganize? The prices on some things seems incredibly capitalist, I see a whole couch for $19.99 which is a great price, but then I'm looking at a pair of shoes for $24.... Where's the relief in that LOL I have to admit they have some pretty good items, but the prices seem greedy. I don't know how much of the proceeds go to disaster relief but if it's not 100% then it seems pretty disturbing, prices are getting to be like Goodwills and there's no good will in that ‍ All in all, this truly is a great store but this was not a good experience for me so I may seek another store.

So our dryer broke about 2 to 3 weeks ago so I have had to go here a few times to keep our clothes…read morewashed and dried. The staff is always friendly and helpful, they have quite a few washing machines though there are a few broken ones and at least one that can't get hot water but works otherwise. The whole back wall is dryers which seems like plenty and would be if it were not for inconsiderate people. Most days I have gone managed to be a weekday so no bad. This last visit was on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. Barely found a parking spot, but my big issue was the dryers. So many had clothes sitting in them, the cycle done but no one taking care of it. Not a great look when it is not busy but when it is so busy there are no open ones do better. I wish the laundromat had some kind of rule or did something if it is sitting there too long, at least when it is this busy. But otherwise it was fine. None of the TV's have ever been on, though that is one of the selling points on the wall. The first visit back in 2019 had one of them going. Since then not at all. They do sell cans of soda, water, and chips if you are going to be there for a while.

I come here frequently because of their big machines but now some of the same machines week after week have the same issue with no hot water or only can run on the light cycle. The customer service has not changed, it is still top notch. Bottom line, weekends are messy. I'll try to stick to during the week and that might help.

I spotted this little Goodwill tucked into a strip center while I was pumping gas at the H-E-B next…read moredoor. When I stepped through the door, I discovered that it was the tiniest Goodwill I've ever ever set foot into. The square footage of the place would equal a large efficiency apartment. I have to admit for such a small place they did have some choice items on the shelves of better quality than your average Goodwill. This is also the only Goodwill I've ever seen where the majority of the floor was not actually given over to clothing. As a matter of fact, there were no clothing racks whatsoever. Apparently, this place is been here for almost 10 years. Lots of books, media, glassware, and knickknacks can be found here.
