Big parking lot, come in and you are right at the exercise room, which is pretty big for the size of the building. Also some machines in a small gym off to the side. The bigger gym has more hoops, etc. The pool is small, 4 lanes, and not really made for kids (no big stairs or open shallow area.) And honestly not made for older adults with knee issues, like me- there is one lane that has some stairs, but if you're going to another lane you have to dunk, or slide in from the top. Also the men's locker room is tiny- the locker area itself, especially. But it's big enough at off times, and there are several showers, a suit dryer, etc. Water and restrooms and coffee in the middle of the areas. Smaller rooms for classes etc., and a community room to rent for parties. Friendly, helpful staff. I know it sounds like I'm complaining about the size, but really I liked it all in all- just be aware that it's not big. It wasn't crowded at 8 on a weekday. I'll definitely be back.

I did not realize this gym really has it all. I mean I was just looking for a simple get on the treadmill, lift some weights and we are good. I didn't realize there was a pool, childcare and so many fitness classes on the Y app. This is not just a community place but really brings people together from all fitness levels and ages. This is something my previous gyms did not offer. I can really see a difference in the workouts I get here compared to a fitness boutique around Columbus and I've probably been to every single gym in Columbus if you ask a random person who may know me. My lifestyle resolves around the gym to train for the marathons I run. Next time you need a fitness recommendation you can message me or just come here and check it out for yourself. Did you know once you join the Y your membership is good at all locations and not just here? The Y has so many perks. Next time you need a community feeling gym look no further than your local YMCA. I'll even do the dance with you to the YMCA to try the fitness center.

Also, not really the most up to date place when it comes to facilities like locker rooms and showers, but if you've lived in a dorm you have seen worse. I like the aquatics center because you can swim all year long. With programs put on by the rec center, or just a friendly float, this is a great place to be. Crowded during non-school hours get there early and have the place to yourself. I lived within walking distance for three years before I noticed the Aquatics Center. I'm sure others have done the same by the amount of alone time I score here. Whether you are Michael Phelps or learning to swim bring your quarters and enjoy a swim.

We have a family pass for my family of 4 and it's a great place to come any month of the year. Swimming at the watering hole- 2 large pools, one side for lap lanes and diving teams to practice the other side for children which include a water slide, lazy river, water playground for toddlers. A smaller swim area which is a little deeper, a tornado in the lazy river and a hot tub. This is a great place to bring the children and run their energy out. They have a blast every time! They do offer swimming lessons as well and water aerobics for adults. The gymnasium- excellent place for open gym basketball and to play pick up basketball games for adults. Many sports the center offers such as tennis, volleyball and a few others that require you to sign up/pay in advance. The work out facility- very clean kept with a track that loops around the top. Excellent place for adults to weight lift and work on cardio. Children under age of 16 not allowed in this area. If you have small children they do offer the sprouts room downstairs in which you pay to have your children watched. The room offers activities and toys for children. I believe the limit is 2 hours per stay. Climbing wall- open climbing offered certain hours and they have a climbing club. You can see the climbing wall as soon as you walk in. Playground- playground for children over looking the pool. Offers a good amount of seating for parents to sit while children play. Many classrooms on the backend that offer Zumba classes, karate, art classes, classes for the super young and classes for the elderly. You pay for these classes and can be found in their program book. Awesome place that brings the community together. When I was growing up all we had close by was the Dublin Rec center and this place knocks it out of the water. Family memberships are totally worth it. They will be expanding this location within the next coming year or so .
