I toured CCP with Ms. Keli after touring six other preschools/daycares in the area and ultimately decided to send my son here the following summer. I can't say enough about our experience here and how much my son grew within months of joining. School facilities - CCP facilities is a bit smaller than some of the other mega-centers I've visited, but it is a more intimate and cozy setting for the kids to spend time with one another. They really make good use of the space they do have and I found it to be beneficial as students are moved between classes because they still have time together across the different age groups. Teachers - All of the teachers at CCP have been incredible and seem to genuinely care for the students and families. My interactions with them are consistently positive from morning drop offs, through the school app, and during pick-ups. The teachers are super responsive to questions and help put my mind at ease. Any questions I raise are usually addressed right away. They also send a bunch of updates and pictures/videos throughout the day and that has been one of the major highlights for me as a first time mom and big time overthinker/worrier. Curriculum - My son started CCP at 2 years old and spoke primarily Mandarin at home. I was worried he wouldn't be able to adjust and would have trouble keeping up. This wasn't the case at all. Within the first few months, he was counting, singing, dancing, and went from saying 1 word to randomly spouting full sentences like "I is for Ice Cream!" and "I see the rainbow smiley face over there!", which was super mind-blowing. They also do an amazing job working through and giving the kids words for their emotions as some of the other reviews have mentioned. At one point my son said "I saw so-and-so cry today and it made me sad" and "Mama, dada, aunties, uncles, grandma, grandpa love me, so I'm happy!" - just that kind of association was really amazing to see. Value - The cost of the program was the same or lower than the other schools I toured. As an extra bonus, CCP also offers some extracurriculars through their program like dance and gymnastics. It is incredible that students get exposure to those experiences throughout the year. I didn't expect this review to be this long, but honestly I could keep going on our wonderful experience with CCP! tl/dr: we love it - 10/10 recommend!! read more

Ms. Keli and her team including Ms. Lily, Ms. Sobia, Ms. Nancy, and Mr. Cameron are superlative in their care of the children at CCP. My daughter went to CCP for two years before going to TK and she is still currently ahead of her peers in reading comprehension, writing and math in elementary school. Not only does the academic structure and the method in how they instruct students at CCP prepare children for elementary school, but Ms. Keli and her team recognize that all children learn differently and they genuinely care about the individual development of each child, catering to developing strengths and acknowledging opportunities for growth in all disciplines. My daughter was also potty trained at CCP, which was a huge help at home. Ms. Keli and her colleagues also focus on growing students' social and emotional developmental milestones. For example, my daughter learned how to help other children in preschool, but would also find time to herself in order to charge her social battery. We are pleased in seeing how much my daughter has thrived at CCP that we continue to enroll her in BALA (Bay Area Learning Academy) today, the after-school program for elementary school students. I highly recommend Ms. Keli, her colleagues, and CCP to any parent considering preschool for their child(ren). read more

CCP has been such a gift to our family. Our son started at CCP when he was 2 years old, and he's almost 4 now. From the very first tour, we knew this was the right place. Kelli was the one who showed us around, and everything was so neat, organized, and clean. More than that, the environment felt calm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. We fell in love with CCP in that moment, and our experience since then has only confirmed we made the best choice. Our son has attended full-time every day, and the growth we've seen over the past two years has been incredible. When he first started, he was in speech and feeding therapy, but over time we saw such major improvements that he no longer needed those services. Thanks to the support, structure, and encouragement at CCP, he's now talking nonstop and eating most of his food like a champ. We're also extremely grateful for the help with potty training, which was a huge milestone for us, and they made it feel so much more manageable. Academically and socially, he has blossomed. He's learned so many letters and numbers, and his vocabulary has expanded so much. Ms. Mabel and Ms. Lily have been absolutely amazing. They are patient, attentive, and truly care about each child's development. You can tell they put their hearts into what they do, and it shows in the confidence and joy our son brings home every day. One of the things we appreciate most is the community and warmth at CCP. Every single drop-off and pick-up, we're greeted with kindness. The staff treats our son like he's part of their own family, and that means everything as parents. CCP also creates opportunities for families to connect through fun events like musicals and potlucks, and we've been so impressed by how respectful and kind the other children and families are. It feels like a real community, not just a preschool. Everyone at home can see the difference CCP has made in our son. The progress he's made in two years is something we'll always be thankful for. We are forever grateful to CCP for helping shape him into the happy, confident, curious little person he is today. If you're considering CCP, I truly can't recommend it enough. read more

We cannot recommend Community Care and the lovely staff there enough. Our two children attended, and there was so much joy, patience, and love from all of the teachers. Our older graduate was beyond prepared for TK and beyond, due in no small part to the teachers. They also offer numerous opt-in activities during the day (ballet, science lab, and gymnastics) and bonus drop-ins (bug lab, bunny therapy) which make it really convenient to provide extra enrichment for the kids. The only negative feedback we have is that they've made it so hard to decide when to move our children to TK. read more

We feel so fortunate to have enrolled our child at Community Care Preschool over a year ago. It has been such a profound and positive experience for our whole family. From the very first day, we could tell that this is a place where children are truly known, loved, and encouraged to grow in every way possible. Our son has blossomed emotionally, socially, and educationally--far beyond what we ever expected. His confidence has soared, his enthusiasm for learning continues to grow, and his joy for school every morning warms our hearts. Every milestone he's reached has been celebrated with care and genuine excitement by the teachers and staff. The teachers here are incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They deeply understand each child's personality and needs, and they meet them with warmth and encouragement every day. We cannot thank them enough for the support they provided--not just in education but also in personal growth. A very special shout-out to Ms. Sobia, Ms. Lily, Ms. Kelli, Ms. Jenny, Ms. Nancy, and Mr. Cameron--you have made such a lasting impact on our son's early years and our family's life. Your passion, compassion, and commitment truly shine through. We are especially grateful for how they helped make potty training so smooth and confidently empowering for our son, and how they thoughtfully support kids as they tackle new challenges and transitions. This level of individualized care means the world to us as parents. If you're looking for a preschool where your child will be nurtured, inspired, and encouraged to thrive, we cannot recommend Community Care Preschool highly enough. We're so thankful to be part of this community! read more

My son attended CCP starting from the age of 2 and he grew so much from his experience there. He had attended a daycare prior to CCP, but cried every single day at drop-off and didn't seem to really be engaged throughout the day. Even though he still had an adjustment period when transitioning to CCP, he was soon dancing, laughing, and walking into class at drop-off without even turning his head. He's made good friends, learned to ask for help and for space, and he has really come out of his shell. The teachers are the main reason we chose CCP because happy teachers make for happy students! All the teachers we interact with are warm, attentive, responsive, and they really do an amazing job with the kids' activities and development. We always appreciated the many updates throughout the day with photos, videos, and messages through the Brightwheel App. We wholeheartedly recommend CCP to everyone we know and we can't wait to send our daughter there in a couple years! read more

What a wonderful preschool that my child had the opportunity to go to! The teachers are so super caring and really attentive to our children. They obviously love what they're doing and they love our children. As working parents. It's important to find a preschool that can meet your needs as a parent as well as help your child be the best that they can be. Community care preschool really fit the bill on both of those fronts.. We are deeply appreciative of our daughter's time there, and we are deeply appreciative of the teachers who made the experience really great for her.. The cost was extremely affordable, and the other parents were deeply tied to their children's success as well.. It's a great school and a great experience if you are a working parent looking for a great school. read more

We couldn't have asked for a better preschool experience for our two children. From day one, it was clear how much care, thought, and love the entire staff puts into every child. Our kids grew so much during their time here--not just academically, but socially, emotionally, and personally. The teachers and staff are incredibly nurturing and attentive, and they truly know each child as an individual. Our children felt safe, supported, and excited to come to school every day. We especially appreciated the strong balance between academics and play. The preschool emphasizes play-based learning, which helped our kids develop independence, confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills--all while having a lot of fun. At the same time, they left very well prepared academically for kindergarten, which gave us so much peace of mind. We are beyond grateful for the foundation this preschool gave our children and highly recommend it to any family looking for a caring, thoughtful, and developmentally rich environment. read more

Love this place. My child has gone to CCP for almost two years and it's been great. Ms.Lily and Ms. Sobia are wonderful teachers. For us it is the perfect balance of playing and learning, and even on the weekend my kid says she misses school! They've created a great environment for the kids to learn, understand routine and just have fun. I appreciate the updates and communication from Ms.Keli and especially love how she creates community programming. It's a big choice, the preschool you entrust with your children, and I am very happy we found CCP. I would def recommend checking it out. read more

Community Care Preschool is an amazing school with incredibly patient, kind, and supportive staff. I enrolled my child when he was just 3 years old, and it was one of the best decisions we've made. He was always so happy going to school, and it was clear how much the teachers genuinely cared about his growth and well-being. They helped him learn, grow, and gain confidence in a warm and loving environment. I am truly grateful for everything they've done and would highly recommend Community Care Preschool to any family looking for a wonderful place for their child. read more

One of the best decisions we have ever made as a family was enrolling our son to this preschool. The teachers, director and staff are so experienced, welcoming, and caring. They really do live up to their title as a "community" school. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure your child is safe and well taken care of. The curriculum follows the interest of the children and communication is transparent. We have recommended this preschool to our friends and neighbors. We cannot wait to enroll our next son in a few years! read more

Both of our kids attended Community Care Preschool, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We were a little nervous at first about how our daughter (who tends to be shy and anxious) would handle the transition. But Ms. Keli and the teachers at CCP created such a nurturing and calming environment that we watched her completely blossom. The teachers helped her navigate big feelings while also building her confidence. Our son attends CCP now and is thriving as well, both socially and cognitively. There are many things we love about CCP, but a few stand out most: The teachers: The teachers and assistants are so kind, attentive, and patient. Both our kids love the staff and would come home talking about them. We loved how intentional the teachers were about getting to know each child's personality and supporting their learning styles. I think those connections made our kids excited to go to school each morning. The program: We were impressed with how well-rounded the program is. Our kids learned so much through exploration, not just worksheets. Along with strong academic and social-emotional activities, CCP offers enriching activities like gymnastics, chess, dance, and STEM. Our daughter recently graduated from CCP, and her TK teacher actually commented on how well-prepared she was, not only academically and in early literacy, but also socially/emotionally. The environment and communication: CCP provides multiple updates throughout the day with photos, videos, and messages showing what the kids are up to. With both parents working full time, we really appreciated the transparency and used those updates to spark conversations at dinner. We're so grateful for the care and thoughtfulness of the teachers at CCP and have already recommended it to multiple friends! read more

CCP is a really great preschool for my 2 toddler boys. They are always doing hands on projects and experiments which is crucial for developing brains. The teachers are all super nice and friendly Thank you, CCP!! read more

The teachers and staff are incredibly kind, patient, and loving, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about each child. We really appreciate the frequent updates throughout the day, which make us feel connected and reassured, and we always feel confident knowing our son is safe in their care. The days are filled with so many engaging, hands-on activities that keep the children constantly learning and excited to explore. Our daughter went to CCP for preschool, and we were so happy with our experience that continuing on to BALA for afterschool felt like an easy choice after she graduated. The teachers are incredibly caring and attentive, and it's clear how much they truly care about the kids. They create a warm, safe environment and always put so much thought into special activities and events. We're very grateful for the time our daughter spent at CCP and would absolutely recommend it to families looking for a preschool where children are genuinely cared for. read more

Our daughter attended Community Care Preschool right after she turned 3 years old and graduated just last year. Coming from a Burlingame preschool that was losing many staff members, we wanted to make sure we chose a school where our daughter would be welcomed, learned social skills as well as academics. We decided to come to this school because not only was recommended by a friend who had many good things to say about it, it was also in a prime location where our other children attend school, convenient for our families needs. We felt welcomed in the beautiful space, felt supported by the wonderful, thoughtful teachers and gained an exceptional preschool community. Ms Keli is one of the kindest, most caring people that we have ever met. Her staff is well trained in different aspects of child development and teaching experience. They were very intentional with the skills they were teaching as well as really getting to know our daughter to make her feel comfortable and part of this preschool community. We saw the difference a in our daughter's social skills through her interactions the teachers would catch and post on the Brightwheel app as well as strengthened her academic comprehension and abilities. Every day she would come home telling us something that she learned whether it was a new song or the STEM experiment she conducted every Friday, CCP had really prepared her for her entrance into Kindergarten. We were truly lucky to have been a part of the CCP community and will continue to supporting this wonderful school by recommending it. read more

We have our little one at CCP and we are happy we chose this preschool. The teachers are amazing, caring, considerate and organized. They are very helpful. Our little one is happy and when we pick him up, we can tell he had a good day with his classmates and teachers. I like that the classes are split into age groups to be more focused on what the kids' needs and learnings are. They also have enrichment programs which is nice for the kids to participate in. I highly recommend if you're looking to send your kids to preschool. They will have wonderful teacher and a lot of fun. read more

When we were first touring for Pre Schools for our daughter, Community Care really stood out. What drew us the most was the compassion, caring and love these teachers have for these students. Not only do they focus on academics and learning, but they also focused on teaching our kids on how to be likable, good manners and to use their words. We've noticed the change in our daughter from the get go of attending and we'd recommend anyone who is looking for a preschool to give it a tour and see for yourself. read more

This review is long overdue. My daughter started at CCP when she was just 2 years old, and now she's about to turn 4. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this school and the incredible staff. Every teacher is loving, caring, patient and genuinely invested in the children, but Mrs. Lily holds a very special place in our hearts. Mrs. Lily is truly a gift. From the moment you walk through the doors, she greets every child with the biggest smile, endless energy, and so much love. She creates such a warm, joyful environment that it instantly brightens your day. My daughter absolutely adores her. If my daughter is having a tough morning, I don't even need to explain, Mrs. Lily already knows exactly what to do. She has an amazing ability to comfort, distract, encourage, and make each child feel safe and loved. Within minutes, the tears are gone and my daughter is smiling and excited to start her day. What makes Mrs. Lily so special is how much she truly knows and cares about each child. If she knows my daughter loves a certain song, she will have it playing when we arrive in the morning just to surprise her. Those little gestures mean the world and show how much thought and love she puts into everything she does. CCP also does an incredible job creating a strong sense of community. There are frequent birthday celebrations, special events, and fun activities. Parents often provide lunch to celebrate their child's birthday, which gives other parents a nice break from packing lunches. More importantly, it brings the children together to celebrate, share a meal, and create special memories as a class. The weekly updates are exceptional, Mrs. Lily always provides detailed information about what the children are learning, upcoming activities, and classroom projects. The creativity and thoughtfulness that go into their curriculum is truly impressive. The enrichment opportunities are wonderful as well, including dance, science, gymnastics, and so many fun hands on activities. The kids have dance parties, creative projects, and experiences that make learning exciting every single day. One thing I especially appreciate is how organized and supportive the staff is. At pickup, everything is ready and waiting by the door, making the process so easy for busy parents. The teachers work together as a team, support one another, and create an environment where every child receives plenty of attention and care. The teacher to student ratio is excellent, and you can feel the love throughout the entire school. CCP has been such a blessing to our family. Knowing my daughter is loved, cared for, and excited to go to school every day is priceless. Thank you, Mrs. Lily, and thank you to the entire CCP team for everything you do. We love you all and are so grateful to be part of the CCP family! read more

Toured CCP. Teachers were friendly and welcoming, but it felt like they only put on smiles for show when visitors tour. Not a fan of the school director, Keli. She was condescending and kept making unnecessary comments and digs. You can tell she was judging from the time she greeted us. My child is a late talker and I mentioned this to her. She told me speech delay isn't common at their school, which I find hard to believe. Everything I said she challenged me on and talked to me like I am a 2nd class citizen. Schools usually encourage you to bring your child so they can explore and feel out the environment. Keli rudely told me I need to keep an eye on my child and close to me. I was able to see him across the room and he wasn't doing anything alarming--just exploring like a normal toddler would. I would NEVER send my child to this place. The staff looked stressed out and we were there during prime time. It felt crammed in their space. I didn't feel she was genuinely concerned about my child's success. Clearly running a money pit. I cut the tour short. Wasn't a good vibe at all. Yuck. read more

Our son has been going to Community Care Preschool for the past month and he absolutely loves it. He can't wait to go to the preschool every morning. There are so many playing/creative activities as well as math, reading in English, and etc. The preschool is in a safe environment and has been remodeled so everything looks great. The teachers are awesome too! They are teaching my son a lot of intangibles such as aesthetic awareness with live plants and flowers. Highly recommended! read more

Our daughter recently started at Community Cares Preschool and we can't say enough about how wonderful the teachers are. We came across this preschool because last year, our son attended an after-school program taught by the same teachers. Their program lifted him up in so many ways, both academically and socially. When the teachers told us over the summer that they're continuing their path to open up a new preschool, we immediately signed up our daughter. The teachers spend a lot of hours and time to come up with such creative projects, which include STEM learning and Sensory activities. The student to teacher ratio is also small, which is important to us because it allows the teacher to adapt to specific learning styles and build deeper relationships as a mentor, which children may not receive in much larger classroom settings. The school also completed a full renovation, giving the classrooms a very nice facelift. read more
