Our daughter has been at Kids Konnect since 18 months and now she is almost 4 in the Dolphin classroom. She really blossomed socially starting in the Nemo class, and all of her teachers have been so caring and attentive. She talks about each of them at home. The director is also wonderful. She communicates clearly, checks in often, and makes us feel supported. We also love the extracurricular classes and family gatherings that make it easy to connect with other parents. These teachers are wonderful and I wish my child could continue with them but he's entering kindergarten soon. My child is autistic and has a language disability. The school were flexible with all of his schedules and did so much more than their best to help him thrive. In the beginning it was rough as all of us were waiting for the diagnosis and the teachers really wanted to figure out to communicate to him, but once we got those, the teachers understood how to communicate with him and include him in all the activities and play time. My child was always excited to go to school and would ask about it. These teachers definitely made a huge impact on his life. read more

I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a preschool for your kid. My daughter was there for approximately 8 months. She started this school when she was 2 years old. She stayed sick all the time she went to this school. I believe because this school has a lot of germs and because they don't clear properly. Every day I mentioned how dirty is the school, the floor and the toys. Also teachers don't offer kids to go to potty. Your kid should ask teachers to go potty if he can or wait until it will be a time for potty. My kid couldn't ask. And there was no chance for her to make it except to do it into her pants. Even after that teachers didn't change her clothes till end of a day. Sometimes even at the end of a day when I came she had soil pants. Teachers didn't care about the kids there. After going outside my kid had always been dirty and wet. No one changed her till end of a day. Also she couldn't wear her jacket because she was too small to do that by herself and I've asked a Director every day to help her. But no one helped her. She was outside without her jacket. There's a lot of things I can mention. If you are looking for a nice, clean,caring place for your kid it's not the right place. They don't like the children. And especially for small kids it's not a good place. read more

Our son has been attending for 4 months and loves it. Don't be put off by the smaller size of the facility vs other preschools. The 3 classes divided by age group (Nemo=infant to toddler, Bumblebee=3-4yrs, Dolphin=4-5yrs). There is also an upstairs outdoor play area that is not accessible or viewable to the public is a safety bonus. Each class has a main teacher with a floater helper teacher. They teach good hygiene and manners, being kind to others, solid rotating monthly curriculum where kids learn a letter, number, and seasonal theme subject (recycling, plants, volcanoes, space, rainbows, body and healthy eating, others). They do not do off site field trips but have guests visit like the dentist, librarian, fire and police. We visited high end preschools like Stratford and Montessori, but during the tours there were some unhappy looking kids that were playing alone and just staring blankly and looked like they could not wait for their parents to pick them up and the adult teachers were staring at their iPhones ignoring the kids during recess. The Kids Konnect tour was a request only as they do not have an open house or walk in campus for visitors due to kid safety. The teachers were talking and interacting with all the kids running around laughing and all looked like they were having fun. The only negative is that I feel naptime is a bit long 1-3pm as my son without naptime is asleep by 6:30-7pm with nap is up until 8:30-9pm is not a big deal as the teachers do need a break for eating and mental sanity. There was a bit of a waiting list but wasn't terrible and Ingrid, the Pacifica coordinator and main Bumblebee teacher had room for us in within 3 months in March after a Dec tour. Their off peak months tend to be June-Aug where there is probably no wait list as kids transition to Kindergarten or take extended vacation. They do have a strict policy with violent outbursts (hitting, kicking, biting) and their handbook states that the child can be expelled with repeated serious incidents. Really like the auto pay with debit card or direct deposit is hassle free with auto email receipts for daycare FSA reimbursement. Another annoying issue is during early 7am drop off or special night events, the reserved parking spots are taken over by the horribly inconsiderate apartment complex residents. Please tow more often! Your child will love kids Konnect, you will also love the safety, and great open hours, if a teacher is sick they have backup teachers to cover. My oldest daughter attended this preschool from when she was about 3.5 until she turned 5. I loved the school so much that I moved my younger daughter here as well. I can't say enough great things about this place!!! All the teachers and staff there did a wonderful job with my daughters and I'd highly recommend them to anyone. We moved away and had to leave and to this day, my girls are still talking about Ms. Kat and Ms. Megan! They really miss them a lot. read more

We did not have a good experience. After 6months stared the complains saying that my daughter could have a development issue. I did take my daughter to see 2 doctors and the all sad that she was a normal energetic child. She was there until the teacher did not give my daughter's lunch because she did no clean up the toys. I am so happy I found Kids Konnect! My son has been attending this school for almost three years now. He has been in each of the three classrooms and we have had a great experience in all three stages. The most important thing to report is that the teachers are AMAZING and that makes all the difference for a daycare center. The staff cares about each student. They give me all the information about the days events that I can ask for and have no hesitation approaching me upon pickup if there were any instances I should be aware of. I really feel like the teachers are on the same page as we are at home, and it shows in my child's behavior and social skills. They always give the children outdoor play time and are always involving the kids in creative art projects. I even appreciate the periodic Facebook posts and candid shots of the kids in action during the day. We are extremely happy with Kids Konnect and recommend to anyone looking for a quality daycare center. read more

My son loves it here! We transferred in from another preschool which we loved but communication was a little poor and the curriculum a bit limiting. The teachers at KK all work together (even if kids are not in their class) and are so caring and kind. They are also extremely qualified. My son brings home wonderful art projects and really enjoys the lively atmosphere. And they always get the kids outside playing twice a day (weather permitting) which is essential. The teachers do a great job communicating with parents and they conveniently offer auto pay for tuition - love it. So glad my son is here! read more

Kids Konnect (Pacifica) has been absolutely amazing! Our daughter started when she was three and attended up until starting Kindergarten. Our two year old son is now enrolled and is doing very well. The teachers are all so caring and great to the students. They organize events such as the yearly holiday party where the students learn and perform songs for the parents and families. They get community involvement by having local police officers, firefighters, librarians and dentists come to the school to give presentations to the students. The new remodel is beautiful! I have to say that Kids Konnect is amazing! My daughter is 2 and started a little before she turned 2 and she LOVES it here! Actually someone we randomly met at the mall who was with his son one morning actually recommended this place to us! After the positive feedback he gave me about Kids Konnect, I knew I had to check it out. Perfect timing because I was scrambling with finding a new place for her during the time. She is always so happy when she comes to school! At first I was a little nervous taking her to pre school a little early, but after touring the center and coming in for a trial run for a couple hours Elisa and all the teachers made me feel comfortable leaving my daughter here 5 days a week full time! By far this is the happiest I have seen her too! Not once has she ever cried for me leaving her, in fact she has pushed me out the door before! Each time I pick her up from school we stay for a few extra minutes because she never wants to leave. That's how I know that they are taking good care of her. Miss Mae is awesome too!! She is my daughters favorite teacher, but of course all the teachers here are great. Another reason why Kids Konnect gets 5 stars is because it is so conveniently located from where I live! Overall Kids Konnect is amazing! I highly recommend it to other parents. Definitely come in for a play run to see how your child reacts for the first time and believe me your kid will love it here! read more

Great school! The new director, Michelle is innovative and settles into her new position with a weath of information and a B.A. in Education under her belt. My middle kid has been going here since he was about 3yo. We decided to take him here because the preschool our oldest child attended needed the child to be potty trained already, which unfortunately was not yet the case for him. Luckily Miss May has the patience of a saint and the had a program to help potty train (well worth the extra bucks) to get him up and peeing in the Nemo room. Since then, he's graduated to the Bumblebee room and now to pre-k Dolphins. The staff is friendly and professional. They communicate on the good and the bad so we know how our child is progressing. Overall, good teacher to student ratio. Hours are great from 7a to 6p. My granddaughter studied here. Everyday her teacher would complain about my granddaughter that she didn't listen and follow directions. She had two years old at the time and it's normal for a kid to have some trouble listening. A professional teacher should know how to handle kids and influence them in a positive way. Her parents were always talking to my granddaughter and teach her to follow and listen to the teacher. The teacher recommended a therapist to analyze her and see if she had ADHD or any other difficulties. Doctor sent a document and results of the analysis saying she was normal for a two year old. So one day the teacher went to the extreme and punishing my granddaughter by not giving her lunch to her. This was completely unprofessional and when we realized we needed to find a better school. She's now at her new school and she's getting compliments in her performance and advanced to the next class for doing so well. This is when we learned the problem was not my granddaughter but the school and teacher themselves. read more

My two sons (4-year old and 2-year old) are currently enrolled at Kids Konnect and they both love it there. They learn so much academically, artistically, and socially. They also have a lot of fun during outdoor play and learning through dance and music. The director and teachers are very knowledgeable and compassionate, and they have also provided helpful tips for us to work with our kids at home (potty training, behavior issues, etc.). They provide healthy snacks and hot lunches, and the facility is safe and clean. I am confident when I drop them off every morning. read more

This has been a wonderful experience and I hate to see it ends. Our second son will be going to kindergarten in 2 days and I hate the thought that we won't be seeing the wonderful teachers at Kids Konnect every morning. They are kind, warm and caring. They take the time to talk to you about the children needs. I love this new app that the school is using where they can update the children's daily event. I also use it as a tool to come up with discussion idea in the evening at bedtime/dinner. Sometime our son is shock that I know what he did during the day or...when he did something bad. I can go on and on. But you need to see it and experience it. I know at time, when the two big classes are combined before school starts and at the end of the day, it can get loud and chaotic. BUT THE CHILDREN ARE ENGAGED AND PLAYING TOGETHER. I know the teachers are looking and listening at all time. Because I can see their eyes scanning when they are talking to me. The teachers are all great and know how to deal with young kids in each of their own ways. The teachers and children are warm and friendly, like a second family, and the teaching style is the perfect blend of education and play. Since my last review, my wife and i have removed our son from this daycare. We went from having a great experience to all hell breaking loose. For the first few months our son was having a great time here. He was learning a lot, he had made new friends and he was progressing or so we thought. For a year all we heard was nothing but praise coming from the staff about how well our son was doing and how fast he was learning. After that one year, things began to change. We went from hearing nothing but praise to hearing that our son was not listening to the staff, he was not communicating well with the other children and the kicker was that maybe our son needs to see a specialist. Now instead of hearing all the positive things about our son, we got only the negative things. Instead of being told what he was doing, we were being told what he was not doing. Not to mention that our son stayed sick while he was here. We have lost count of how may ear infections and colds that our son had while he was here. We were told by the staff that the classrooms were cleaned daily and that all of the toys were sanitized daily but still our son kept getting sick weekly. Our pediatrician finally told us that the reason our son keeps getting sick is because of the environment that he was in meaning germs, and the surrounding not being cleaned properly. Needless to say we were not happy. What really through up the red flags was when our son who is a toddler came home one day and told us that a particular staff member there was not nice. Now we know children say anything but for that to just come out of the blue caused concern for us. So we decided to bring this to the coordinator attention. Instead of her looking into the matter she told us that this particular staff member was her best teacher and that she can assure us that nothing is going on. We were upset because she didnt bother to look into this but just brushed it off like it was nothing. We decided right then and there that enough was enough and that our son would no longer attend this daycare. It has been almost four months since we removed our son from here and enrolled him elsewhere. The new daycare that he attends is much more cleaner and our son has yet to be sick since leaving kids konnect. The staff here is great, and he gets along really well with the other children. He loves where he is and so do we. read more

This place does not deserve even one star! May daughter went to Kids Konnect and seemed to love it--until the staffing changed, and continued to change often. Kids are not used to rapid change, they get attatched to their teachers. Kids Konnect claims to be child development experts, but the director is quick to judge kids behavior, and even had the gaul to call me at work and tell me she thought my child was autistic!! Then, once they told us we had to leave (because a child development center couldnt handle a difficult child???) they took forever to re-inburse me for the care....... This place is terrible. Don't send your children to a place that cannot handle them, and apparently cannot handle the parents either. read more

I am so happy with the care my child is receiving at Kids Konnect. The teachers are so dedicated and the Director is very knowledgeable about best practices in working with children and families. Whenever I pick up my child they dont want to leave. All of the children are smiling and engaged whn I walk in and the teachers are willing to talk to me about my childs progress at any time. I am a parent of a 4-yr-old boy and recently enrolled him at this school. It's clean, the teachers are professional, and there is plenty to do and learn here. The center is inviting and recently, they offer Saturday service for parents to have a time to themselves to run errands and such. Its a small school, so your child will get attention. Kids Konnect is a fantastic preschool! My daughter has attended Kids Konnect for about 4 months now (half day, mornings). Coming from a daycare, this is exactly what she needed: a classroom learning environment that is preparing her for Kindergarten. She's in the Preschool class, but knows all the teachers very well and they show a lot of interest in her. Seriously, her teachers, Miss Christina and Ms. Ingrid are VERY attentive to these children and know even their inner little selves, down to their little tics. My daughter REALLY loves them, and I am very impressed by them. There is a lot of structure to their mornings with lots of learning. She has learned something new everyday since day 1- things I would never have thought to explore with her. They work on their capital and lower case letters everyday, and every week their projects revolve around a specific letter. For example, firemen came during F week and taught them to Stop, Drop and Roll. My daughter just talks our ears off about what she's learned and seems to have retained most of it. A few months ago they did scientific journals by observing butterflies, and she still tells us its lifecycle. Within two weeks of attendance, my 3.5 year old was writing her name by herself, and she just got down her 10-letter last name! Socially, she's blossomed as well. She would never play with boys before, but now she calls them her friends. She's still shy but can get rowdy now :) Least favorable thing is the location, being that there's a giant apartment complex behind it and a bodega next to it, I just hate the foot traffic near them. But I had to say something a little negative to prove I don't work there ;) Stop by and check them out. You'll be impressed by what you see. read more
