When they calculated the number of appointments missed they included appointments the provider cancelled due to her own travel plans. We attempted to reschedule appointments every time (either when we had to cancel or the provider did) and were told there was no availability to reschedule. When we had to cancel appointment for Christmas we gave at least 2 weeks of advanced notice. When we had to cancel due to illness that was out of our control. Luckily there are plenty of speech pathology providers in our area and we will go elsewhere.
