Pages and pages of relaxed decor, cool destinations and recipes worth your investment of time and money. Well, now the term Sunset is more literal than figurative and an unfortunate precursor to trouble ahead. Like most magazines their days as an analog, physical publication seem numbered as once monthly issues are now 6x per year and are constrained by declining circulation that has tumbled far below one million. Long gone are the days when Time Inc. bankrolled their dominance. Now, a private equity firm is milking what's left. Even the website seems static and boring despite their incredible advantage as a once revered avatar of the booming West. This longtime fan will continue paying but my largess may in fact outlast a sentimental favorite. I've long ago forgiven them for bringing Avocado Toast into the lexicon. Hang in there Sunset. Four optimistic stars.

Can't contact Sunset Magazine. Apparently they have gone out of business. When calling their…read morephone number, you get a scratchy recording stating, "this number is no longer in service." Good bye Sunset and I hope all staff concerned survived Sunset's demise. Best of good fortune to all staff.

Nov. 23…read more Front page left side says "Dow Milestone... ....surpassed 19,000 ..... as the SO-CALLED Trump rally drove indexes into record territory." This is clearly slanted editorializing when the words so-called were applied to what is CLEARLY a result of the Trump win. It is clearly Trump election stock speculation and CNBC, WSJ, etc. have said as much. Give credit where credit is due even if you don't like the guy. Scheesch!!! Put real news out and editorialize on another page.
