I came here thinking it was Rite Time (which is what it used to be called, but the ownership changed and the name has changed to R Time and it was doubled with the name "Business Solutions Center" which was a printing/graphic arts service). I do think it's very misleading that it says on the windows "Watch Repair" when the man at the counter specifically told me that he only does battery replacement and that I should go to this other place 2 blocks away from Lawrence to get a watch repair. He also kept saying the words "I don't know" in regards to the other watch that was still ticking but was obviously off (that one would be the one that needs repair). The man who used to repair watches here used to also only charge $7 per battery change whereas this new place charges +$9. And the man who used to work here would actually keep the watch for a few days to monitor and make sure it was properly working. I have not used their printing services to this is in regards to the so-called watch repair service they offer as well as the man's lack of enthusiasm when it comes to service. He just appeared very bored and uninterested. My suggestion? The guy needs to get rid of the "watch repair" services as part of his business.

I told the person that I didn't want to be in the publication if the magazine was going to be full of competitor's ads. She said it would not be. I paid for an ad and she put my ad right next to a competitor's full page ad. After I complained, the publisher told me that there should not be an issue with the placement of my ad and that they do this to real estate agents all the time. I told him that his analogy did not apply because I am not selling real estate. He told me that they were not going to do anything to compensate me. Don't spend your money advertising with The Los Altos Town Crier, they just want to fill space.

The following day on May 21, 2022 the HOST, for no reason (which was confirmed by VRBO 'it doesn't say why") and we had to find other arrangements. I sent 3 emails via VRBO to say cancellation was in error and how to complete any missing/eronious info, but he NEVER replied! 2) As a "Professional Host," as listed on the site, this is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE behavior! 3) VRBO Complaint: VRBO customer service people (2) were completely useless. They could not tell me why, they refused to contact Host to ask why and/or resolve issue, they could not/refused to make another reservation at that complex (said to "make another reservation online" and when I tried the computer would not allow it and they still didn't help), & finally. they NEVER could make another reservation for a different place despite being told "we put you on the escalation list" for someone to call to make another reservation. 4) Called VRBO to see how to make complaint about Host activities and their reply was "you cannot make a Review if you do not stay there."
