There were so many hiccups and this company held almost $4000 of my funds in "escrow " due to an erroneous debt less than half that amount from 2012 that was paid off in 2013!!!!!!! They refused to release all of our funds after closing and made it terribly challenging for my husband and I to get our money back even after providing multiple times through emails and and phone calls receipts that the debt was erroneous and had be paid off in FULL 10 years ago! I ended up having to drive almost 2 hours to go in person to their office to speak with someone about the matter. Once I got there, they were very polite and accommodating in refunding our money from closing because they knew that they were dead wrong in how they dealt with our family in such a harsh way. BUT WHY did they put our family through this terrible experience in the first place?! We were told by our Title company that had done what they were supposed to do but Appomattox Title still kept holding our funds unlawfully. Questionable business practices.

We were looking to buy a house around Richmond when we moved from Norfolk and my mortgage company…read moreforwarded my info to these guys since we didn't know anyone in the area. They called LITERALLY (not figuratively, it actually was literally) one minute later to touch base. Greg Middleton is the BEST (literally, not hyperbole) person to go around house hunting with, in my opinion. We averaged 4 houses a day, all around Richmond and its suburbs each time I came up, which is nice because after making a four hour round trip, the last thing you want is someone not willing to spend six hours driving all over the city with you. He also didn't murder me in all those empty houses we were seeing, so that is definitely worth another star in my book. That means I didn't get to murder him either, so minus one star if that is what you are looking for in a realtor. (-1 star: too hard to murder) He is also very prompt responding to the million (okay, that one is an exaggeration) questions I had about buying a home for the first time and clearly knows what he is talking about, so that is pretty awesome. He held my hand through ever step of the process. (Figuratively, not literally, so minus one star if that is what you are looking for in a realtor. -1 star: won't literally hold your hand) Overall, I would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone. Use Greg for your real estate needs, you probably won't get murdered!

Lauren was completely knowledgeable, knew all of the ways to navigate the market, and was there for us every step of the way, no matter what was thrown at us. She made the experience fun and helped us understand what we wanted and needed without telling us what to do. We trusted her completely and she didn't let us down!
