I'd describe this store as a boutique catering to women with clothing, jewelry and home decor; however, they do offer children's items and a small area with men's personal items. I was excited to see various Duke Cannon soaps. My husband loves this brand and I grabbed one to save for Father's Day. Another area made for anyone is the kitchen area with decor and food items, including hot jellies and seasonings. For me I picked up a small jar of honey to go with cheese and crackers. I also snagged a glass marked "The Good Shit" which I'm keeping for my best friend. He'll appreciate the humor and having his special glass during happy hour. I experienced friendly service and watched others get the same. I shared my email and phone number for specials and promotions. I loved that they offer gift wrapping, regardless of the items size or price. I'd picked out 3 small gifts and that look nicely put together. This is a great perk!

I've been looking for that "just right" bistro table and two chairs for my new home. Months of looking and then Anna showed me an ecletic table which I didn't notice, then the piece de resistance, a perfect chair too. Can't wait to get this table home, the seat of the chair is going to be recovered with a terrific material from England covered with adorable cows. And the Polish Pottery line has been expanded with various designs.

This is the first outlet in Louisville and was originally announced as a temporary location; however, it must be doing well enough to have stayed in place. It took over the space vacated by the now bankrupt Steinmart. There is nothing fancy about this spot. It very much feels like a dumping site for furniture and is organized by type/room. It is a land of rejected, broken pieces. The signage attempts to excite you - 50% off or more - but then you flip the tag to find out it is still outrageously overpriced on top of being broken. The facility is large, and most workers were either at the front desk or helping people wedge items into their trucks. I appreciated watching the quiet nature of the staff today as a customer carried on a conversation with the customer service team via her cell phone. She was a lot to handle and you could tell they didn't want to escalate the situation. Apparently this spot has a following. Bring a large pocketbook ... and duct tape.

It strikes a good balance of having plenty to look at, but not becoming overwhelming. The items for Thanksgiving and Christmas were nicely included in the shop's current offerings and matched the rest of the decor perfectly. It sounds simple but I think stores that can do this really understand who they are, and have an eye to make it happen. In the back of the store is a small workshop. They will soon be decorating trays, teaching how to apply transfers and stamping holiday bags. If you enjoy these opportunities for creativity, follow their social media pages for updates. The coolest item that caught our eye was a vinyl rug. You can select from a variety of designs and it's easy to mop clean. We're intrigued - it would be great for our foyer where muddy shoes come through.

Their inventory is always changing so if you don't see anything that catches your eye the first time you go, try again in a couple weeks.
