Then it merged with Australian Central Credit Union and didn't really have a proper name at all for a few months. Then they re-emerged as People's Choice Credit Union. The best part about all of that, I had basically NO interruptions to any of my services throughout all of that. When the online merge occurred I could not see the names on my bank statement online for 2 days but all the amounts showed correctly and it was fixed in a few days. That is pretty amazing considering the volumes of information they were merging to get everything onto one system. Plus I have had no issues with the change in BSB either with all my transfers and automatic payments occurring correctly. This is a nice branch and I have had great service here when I have had the need to go to a branch. I have had loans with them over the years and always found their service excellent and everything well explained. Last time I went in here I was a little stunned at the changes. Basically the tellers are just at little desks. No big security screens or counters. It was very odd. Especially when they don't have a security guard at the door either. I just found it a little relaxed for a bank. Oh but they're not a bank - they're a credit union! There's only a few parks out the front here but you can usually get one as people are not in there long usually. Best thing about them - their opening hours are heaps better than any banks!

The staff here have tried to help - but the powerboys in head office are unbelievable.

I am constantly impressed by Credit Union SA. This was once a small credit union only open to…read moreteachers and their families, but now it is open to all. My partner has always had an account here (when it was Satisfac), so when we chose our home loan provider, we came here. Everything here is quick and easy, and the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Every time I have found my old credit union to not have a great deal, Credit Union SA has come up trumps. Today I even added more services to my account, due to their lack of fees (unlike my old Credit Union). This is a very small credit union, and there aren't many staff working here - but they're fantastic! Credit Union SA is what all the credit unions in South Australia used to be like, before the economic downturn. Sometimes larger doesn't necessarily mean better ;)

Really good, low rates on their home and personal loans and a really good credit card product too. The branch staff in King William street are very friendly. If you are sick of being treat like a number by your bank then you should give this local, member owned and trusted organisation a go!

This branch used ot be one of the Australian Central Credit Union branches and they have not had…read moretheir signage on the windows or outside redone yet but they do serve all customers of the new merged People's Choice Credit Union. Another great thing about the merger, there are now a heap more branches around which is so convenient. In fact I had not even thought about this one and then realised, hang on, I can use that now. It was great. Again set up with two teller desks basically. Usually places like this want to tighten up security but they seem to be quite relaxed. I got served really quickly and without any fuss. There were a few people coming in and going out of the branch but the line moved quickly so it didn't seem too bad. Plus, again, much better opening hours than any bank!

The line wasn't too bad however it appears as though there were only two teller desks. Overall, a satisfying experience and a great way to fix issues quickly.
