My son suffered a serious tibial tubercle avulsion fracture in July that required emergency…read moresurgery, and his recovery has been extraordinary. I truly believe so much of that progress is the result of the care, attention, and expertise he has received at CNMR. I especially want to recognize Jonathan M. Kula and our physical therapist Megan Hartnett. Jonathan's assessment was incredibly thorough and thoughtful. I reached out after calling several places but wasn't getting my questions answered. I left a message and Jonathan called back within an hour. He made time for us to come in the next day (even though he was booked solid) and even offered to meet me and my son in front of the building in case I needed help getting into the office. He and Megan Hartnett took the time to understand my son's injury, read all of the reports, asked pertinent questions, and then proceeded to explain to us the plan and process for his recovery. His first priority was getting my son mobile and moving forward safely and confidently. That level of attention gave us tremendous reassurance during what had been a very stressful experience for our family. Megan Hartlett has been equally exceptional throughout his rehabilitation. She has approached his physical therapy with such care, patience, and skill, while also knowing when to challenge him and help him recognize how much progress he is making. Watching him regain his strength, mobility, and confidence has been remarkable. We still have a ways to go but here we are over the half way mark and I'm happy. There is a big difference between simply providing treatment and truly caring about a patient's recovery. Jonathan and Megan have made us feel that difference every step of the way. We still have more of the recovery journey ahead of us, but I wanted to take a moment now to give them both a very special shout-out and to say how grateful we are for the care my son has received. This isn't a fancy 10,000 square foot facility that looks super slick. I've been to those and nothing compares than the personal patient care. And every single person here--from the warm welcoming smile of Ms. Sharon to the other PTs I've never even met but see in passing--all have been nothing but kind, courteous and caring. This is a special practice that deserves special recognition.

But to start: He genuinely cares about his patients. Not just the one on one care for PT, but as you as a person! I get to spend an hour with him and have really good conversation along with getting excellent care. He is very "hands on" which I appreciate. He listens to your concerns. And he goes hands-on whether it be massage or be cupping. And then gives you exercises and make sure you don't leave until you understand what you have to do. I even convinced my own wife to give Jordan a try as her PT and she truly understood what I was talking about. The front office staff is always helpful and polite Every time I call she picks up immediately and it's very helpful. They take my type of insurance which would be a dealbreaker if they did not accept Blue Cross Blue Shield. Every appointment with Dr Jordan, I leave feeling heard, encouraged, and like real progress is being made. If you're looking for a PT who will treat you like a whole person and not just a case file, look no further. Highest possible recommendation! It'll be a sad day when I no longer have any PT issues. Because I won't have an excuse To come here.

Extremely disappointed and my trust was betrayed. Upon further investigation I discovered that…read moreActive Family Wellness was not in fact Active Care which was also in Fairfax. I provided my attorney information to the office and was under the impression that they were already in contact but the later find there was no affiliation. My trust was completely lost. I've been going to the correct practice which has a similar name and I've felt 1000% better with only 4 visits after being in terrible pain and trouble walking. last visit to Active Family Wellness I expressed that I was in pain and I mentioned to the office manager that I was in too much pain and I wanted to skip the tense pressure before the adjustment and I was told "You have to do it". which was so painful it brought me to tears and I didn't feel any better. Additional I was made to sign paperwork agreeing to pay a detailed breakdown of the when I have health insurance which I was completely caught of guard by. How can I know what the projected cost be for medical treatment? What ICD coding would be used for long term treatment? I don't appreciate being sold this "fallacy" of care knowing that I wasn't the first patient this happened to. Disappointed.

Note: some insurance covers this, some insurance does not. Regardless: it is worth the cost. I repeat: it is worth every penny. Anyhow, enough silliness - Airrosti is a national (?) network of providers who specialize in getting you better as soon as possible. They aim for 4 sessions or less. They will impress upon you the importance of following their directions and guidance, but, it's not hocus pocus. They have their knowledge, and they apply it successfully. Now, I am not a doctor or physical therapist or anything like that, but they know what they can treat and what they cannot. They focus on soft tissue stuff, I think - so, if you're not sure, just ask. They cannot fix everything, but they can help so much of the pain and injuries associated with my favorite athletic events from endurance to lifting to intense exercise. I went about a month before a marathon, because I had a wicked injury that was not getting better for almost 2 months - essentially sidelining me. With so many races, I knew this one was bad, and I feared the worst. Dr. Bryant was honest and optimistic, but I wasn't sure... until after the first session. I was able to move like I hadn't moved in all that time. More importantly, I could, in some respects, move BETTER. Ok, yes, there was some pain involved in the therapeutic treatment, but, that's physical therapy for you, right? Within TWO sessions, I was better. By the third, we literally talked, high-fived, and I was on my way. I waited to write this review until after my race - if it was as good as I hoped, I"d be able to run the race without the nagging pain. I had NONE of the nagging pain for which I was treated return, at all. Of course, there's always fatigue and wear and tear from a marathon, but the injury for which I was treated had no signs of reappearing. I am going to register for my next 26.2 within the next few days. I am going to start a competition in the next two days. I can only do this because of Dr. Bryant - I have told everyone I know who might need his expertise to just go, and for you, dear reader, I do the same.
