I wish there was a Common Grounds in Chandler with all of its staff so I could go there everyday! My hub and I are camping this weekend and needed to go somewhere with Wi-Fi and somewhere dog friendly for a work call. After placing my order and asking about the Wi-Fi connection, Tom mentioned which side of the patio had the better connection and immediately helped us move a table into the shade. SO nice. Wi-Fi was great, coffee even better, and filtered water for the pups. I wish everybody had this good of hospitality, it makes the biggest difference.. because even though we're just getting coffee, it makes you feel like you're being taken care of. Pam is too sweet! I found this place on Yelp and wanted to check it out on our way to Heber; they were closed already. So, we decided to hit 'em on the way back. We were 10 min away and they closed in 4. Since Heber didn't have any decent/open coffee, we needed our fix! I called and talked to Pam; asked if I could place the order with her and pick up a few min after closing. She said, "sure!" A few minutes later, we arrive. Cold Brew and Local Lavender Oat Milk Latte (vegan) we're waiting at the pick up window for us. I got a MunkPack Double Chocolate Vegan Cookie as well, $12 + Tip and we were on our way! This place is a hidden gem in Payson. Had driven up from Phoenix and needed a pick me up after the drive. Decided to stop here and it was everything plus more! The coffee was excellent...as someone who prefers a dark roasted profile, this place nailed it. As for the atmosphere, it was cozy and comfy and had a great feel inside. I sat for easily a half hour and just enjoyed sipping my americano and chatting with others. Definitely check this place out and be sure to say hi to the friendly kitty outside too! This coffee place is the one of the best local shops I've been to. I just visited Payson for a day trip to feel some winter out of Arizona and this place just multiplied such vibes on it. Stopped here a few times on our trips to/through Payson from the valley. Very nice, usually quiet place to take a rest and rehydrate (re-caffeinate). Usually we are on a motorcycle so nice to enjoy the patio and shade trees to cool down. I'm sure if you live in the area this place is not so "secret". But I enjoy that it isn't on the main road through town. Kinda feels like a hidden jewel to someone who isn't a local to the area. Cheers! read more

Best bean in AZ for me so far, I discovered this wonderful place while camping this summer... I've been ask twice. In-house roasting and you can tell they know what they are doing! I stopped in to get a coffee at Common Grounds today and almost passed it thinking Apple Maps had sent me to a make believe place. I'm glad I turned around because my Georgia Latte was delicious! I didn't get the barista's name but he was very friendly and recommended this drink to me. I also got a brownie and it was equally delicious. Crafted to remember! They have some unusual flavour combinations. My wife had the honey bee latte, which consists of locally harvested honey and locally grown lavender. I had an americano, but after tasting my wife's drink I went in and asked for the flavour shots in my americano. As an americano drinker I'm not often in for sweetened drinks. But wow was this good! Stopped here on the way back to the valley and I have to say the local bee latte is a MUST have. It's the perfect blend of lavender and honey without being too overpowering. I've had many lavender lattes and always hesitate getting them because when done wrong it ruins the beautiful taste of the espresso. This was the best latte I've had with lavender. A must try! Honestly, I wasn't expecting much I just wanted my morning coffee while I was in town and I was amazed. This is a cute little neighborhood coffee shop but their lobby is closed for the meantime during this horrible pandemic. however, they are still doing walk up window orders. I got my usual vanilla latte and they also have nondairy milk alternatives. It makes me sad that this shop is over 100 miles from home but I will definitely be stopping by whenever I'm in town. My boyfriend and I camped up at the Payson Campground overnight and after a not so lovely night sleep, we were looking for something to yummy and energizing to keep us awake for the drive home! We like to stop anywhere local whenever we can and I was so happy we stopped at Common Grounds! The sweet lady working was so nice and I loved the early morning vibe. We both ordered hot dirty chai lattes with double shots and oat milk, and I can easily say this was hands down one of my favorite dirty chai tea lattes I've ever had!!
