The instructor rescheduled on me at the last minute and then was at times very hostile and inappropriate with me during our drive. Laughing, jeering, scoffing at very minimal mistakes such as leaving my blinker on a few seconds too long. I ended up failing the first time by about 3 points or so, and crying my eyes out. I was a 22 year old woman at the time, I struggle with ADHD, and I think this establishment is bordering on unsafe for young people when instructors are allowed to say and do just anything to young people who are already possibly scared/uncomfortable. I think that my specific instructor (not all I'm sure) really leaned into the expected behaviors of an aggressive, hostile old retired cop who still wants to bark at people and make them feel small somehow while on the clock. I'll also add that my boyfriend left them a bad review after hearing all of this from me, and they responded by blasting out his PERSONAL INFORMATION that they got from estranged family members who they found in their system. That was shocking to me!!! So privacy and personal information are also not respected here.

Jason at the Port Angeles branch is creepy and he will fail you repeatedly. His objections to your driving will be random and subjective, rather than about driving rules that you've broken. For instance, during parking, he will say you were too close or not close enough but he will not bother to actually get out and look at the distance (or even open the door to look). Our biggest issue was that he couldn't speak English well, but his proctor, Niykee, eliminated that barrier by using hand signals instead. The agents over the phone named Ryan and Lucas are very helpful. You have to book and pay first over their website and the agents will help you through the process. For the actual test, my husband mentioned that the instructor/test agent is very nice! (Her name is Kim by the way) Though he is very nervous, she made him calm and confident. After the test, she went over the mistakes and discussed it with him. Disclaimer: My husband passed the test. Tip: If you can bring your own car (which you have been using for practice) will be the best option for the test. Remember: cars accelerates and decelerates differently. Gist: the more familiar you are with the car for the exam, the higher chance of passing! One more thing, mistakes accumulates and hurts your grade. So, practice practice practice. Goodluck!
