He greeted every customer, shook hands, said goodbye, thanked people for their business. And Amy who is another executive at that location is just as amazing! If I had any issue she resolved it herself. She would not hesitate to call B of A HQ to solve any issue you bring to her. To actually enjoy going into the bank because you 'feel at home' with the people is really saying something extraordinary. This is a principle Bank of America was founded upon. These people in BofA O'Fallon, Il live it. And I had to go once to their Belleville location and was treated the same way by Meredith (sp) who also has since been promoted. Today (1/7/16) was my first time visiting this location and most likely my last. This isn't my…read morecurrent to go location but I had decided to stop here since I had to get some groceries at dierbergs. I first walked in and everything looked very organized and clean, how most banks are suppose to look. I saw a lady (her name is Debora Walker) talking to a guy (I assume her husband) I needed to make a deposit but didn't have my account number on me. Truthfully, I never do, they're always able to pull my information up using my licenses. I gave her my licenses and she asked for my ssn. I said to her "am I not showing up in the system"? She made the comment "there's too many people with your last name and you have too many names. There's something with spaces and hyphens in names that make it hard to find names". I'm thinking to myself. Umm ok. My name isn't that long, there are other ppl that have way longer. I can agree that my name is common. My name doesn't have any hyphens and I hope everyone has a space between the their first, middle, and last name. I didn't say that to her but it was what I was thinking while she was writing all my information down for the deposit. So then she said to me "your name should be shorten"! And I replied to her telling her that it's my giving name that's what my parents named me. And she said something after that but I didn't bother to listen to her anymore. She was very rude from the beginning. There was another teller that was just watching her and I can tell by the look on that tellers face that she knew Debora was being rude. Debora gave me my receipt and she said have a good day, I replied and told her I HOPE you have a good day. Funny thing is that my name is not as long as hers so I don't know what her deal was. As I left, I saw the guy come back to talk to her. Again assuming it was her husband. I went to go do some grocery shopping and as I was checking out, I walked by and saw him still there standing and chit chatting with her (40 mins later). Ok, you can talk to your husband, brother, bf, whatever he was to you all you want. And it's good that you stopped talking to him whenever I showed up but you didn't have to be rude to me. It's not like I wanted to intrude on your conversation. Btw: How the heck did you survive 5 years at first bank with horrible customer service? Yes, I saw your little certificate. Overall, I would avoid this location. I'm sure the other tellers and associate are nice but I just bumped into a rude one. If Debora Walker is there, please avoid her and you'll thank me later.
