Despite living a walk away from this clinic, my family and I only come here as a last resort. Firstly there's the nurse at the front desk. Residents in the village will probably immediately know the nurse I'm referring to. She has an incredibly rude and patronizing tone, making patients feel unwelcome from the moment they step in. Ang sama ng tingin nya. A front desk position in a clinic requires warmth, patience, and professionalism. If you don't have these qualities you simply should not be in a customer-facing role. People that come in are sick or caring for someone who is and should not have to also deal with attitude at the front desk. Then there's the pediatrician, who seems to only care about patients who either aren't using HMO or those she personally likes. We always hear her chatting and making small talk with other patients, but as soon as it's our turn, her entire demeanor changes. We get a cold reception and feel completely unwanted. On top of that, she is unnecessarily rough with our kids. When they couldn't open their mouths wide enough for her to check, she forcibly shoved a wooden stick down their throats, traumatizing them so much that they begged us never to take them back to her. read more
