She has osteoarthritis due to a fall, stable angina, dementia, type 2 diabetes, and her legs are swollen due to abscesses (pockets of pus producing clear fluid). She was admitted to the ER in this hospital. The doctor only obtained her blood pressure, which is 101/74 mmHg, and heart rate, which is 101 bpm, but did not assess her oxygen saturation level, respiratory rate, temperature, or pain scale. The doctor immediately asked my sister and me if they could give my mother mechanical intubation, which I know is an invasive treatment but we refused. She was given a simple mask 10L instead. The doctor suggested to send her for dialysis but we refused because of her age and health conditions and even suggested to amputate her legs due to wounds & continuous swelling. The nurse had difficulties placing the nasogastric tube (NGT) (she seems like inexperience nurse, student nurse) I could see my mom is in deep pain. This hospital doesn't give pain killer to patients all they are concern is to give the mechanical intubation as a quick treatment. They are very poor in managing patient's pain. At last she was transferred to Chronic Disease ward after staying three days in ER. I dont know if my mother will survive any longer in this hospital:-(

In fact, its main lobby, based on design, looked like a modest version of St. Lukes Medical Center - Quezon City. There's a chandelier in the middle and the main motif is green. In terms of equipment, I was again impressed that they outdid their wealthier neighboring hospitals in one important aspect - ARMMC has an MRI. Our family had been looking for a nearby hospital offering MRI services. This was the last place we thought we could find what we were looking for. But, it's a fact: ARMMC is the only hospital in Marikina with MRI service.

St. Therese Hospital is that hospital for my family. Located just 5 minutes away from our place, it has been very convenient for us especially for my parents when they aren't feeling so well. With less than 5 floors and ample parking space, the hospital isn't bad at all. The doctors and staff are accommodating and attentive. The facilities are good enough to cater to your needs. Whenever my mom feels bloated, I always rush her here and since she has insurance and is accredited there, it's always been a breeze. First off, as a medical clinic inside a mall, I had low expectations. So was very happy that they provided such good service, even better than most big hospitals. You come in and it's easy to talk to the people there to find out what the steps are. If you are a new patient, you will be directed to a computer kiosk where you can enter your patient information - very modern! Then proceed to the counter where they will ask you want you what kind of doctor you need. There was less than 5 minutes of waiting time before I was escorted to the doctor's clinic by one of the staff. The doctor was very thorough with the check up and I was satisfied with the result of the treatment. Next time you need medical advice, I would highly recommend seeking it at Healthway Medical. The service there really made me smile.

Out of all the branches that I've tried, I can truly say that I like the Greenbelt branch the best. Not only does the place look new, the staff is very accommodating! I was very privileged to have experience the Healthway VIP treatment - there's a separate waiting room with TV (woohoo) and comfy coaches. Tip: make sure you bring a book or a game to play. There's always a lot of people here so you could be waiting and waiting. Also make sure to bring a bottle of water so that when the time comes and you need urine sample, you can easily give it. The whole place is well ventilated, it sometimes gets too chilly for me so I always make it a point to bring a jacket! The doctors here are very nice and super helpful - just ask away and they will try their best to answer you.

All the medical staffs are always having a smiley face. They always joke around so that the patients can not feel the sadness and cannot be scared of their conditions. The doctors there may always busy, but they always have time if someone is asking them. Their Nurses and Nursing Attendants are always leaving a good impression that impacted the patients lives. Will never forget our experience in East Avenue Medical Center. Especially on how they treat the patients in there. The people there may not be perfect, but they always doing their best.
