As I've never been able to find bras that actually fit, until yesterday when I stopped by Nicolette's incredible shop. Upon entering I was greeted and immediately was guided towards multiple options that would fit my petite form and my particular style & taste. I got to try them on and walked out with new options that help me to feel empowered, sexy and slightly badass. ; ) Nicolette has this way of helping you to feel comfortable in a way I've never experienced in a lingerie shop before. She has this innate ability to match you with items that feel like they are meant for you. If you want to feel confident in your body, or if you love someone who deserves to feel confident in their body (as we all do - especially in a world where there are such unhealthy and extreme expectations on women's/afab bodies) please take some time at this shop. They offer gift certificates and you won't be disappointed. Thank you Nicolette! I'm so excited to wear my new items!

Let me preface this by saying that I moved back to VT from Philadelphia and in philly this is where I bought all my clothes, I was so sad that there wasn't a store here in Vermont or anywhere near by, I literally cried to my partner about where I was going to buy my clothes. I'm dramatic I know! Anyway, the store manager came out and greeted us all in line. She was super helpful, extremely personable, friendly and nice. The rest of the staff I met once we were inside were super helpful and friendly. The store itself seems a little small, but I think the location and store itself is really nice. The prices seemed the same as other torrids I've been too, the layout of the store was great, and they had so many if not almost all of the standard bra options in store- that alone made my day! If you haven't been inside a Torrid before- they carry women's sizes 10-30, plus size exclusive. I love their bras because I can wear the same size in basically every bra and have it fit. They carry super trendy and comfortable styles with a fit that never disappoints, and if you feel like staying home you can order online and have it shipped for free to the store for pick up. So glad my favorite store is finally in Vermont!

I frequently buy multiple items, try them on and return the items that don't fit (especially with covid more so now) and have never had a problem returning items even with no receipt or even if the price tags have been removed. It says in their return policy keeping the tags on the items is not required for a return and they have always been able to look up receipts with the card the items were bought on. I have never ran into any issues return items with no tags or a receipt. Long story short I recently went into Victoria Secret and was helped by the new General manager who immediately was rude and started yelling at me and refused to return my items because the tags weren't on them and I didn't have the receipt. I argued with her for 20 minutes in the store while she just kept saying that its policy and she can't return my items with no tags or receipt even though it's not policy when the policy actually states you don't need the tags or receipt to return them. She clearly doesn't know the return policy very well or how to work the register well enough to return items with no tags or how to look up a receipt. I spent all day on the phone with corporate and this manager to try and get my hundreds of dollars worth of clothes returned. I wasted my time and energy when at the end of the day she was able to return them anyways (go figure). If she would have actually wanted to help me and if she would have taken the time to learn how to return them or how to look up a receipt instead of just refusing I would be a much happier customer. I now will take my money to other victoria secrets in my area.

Granted, it WAS 6 weeks from the time I bought the wand until I opened it. The packaging was supposed to have a storage bag and a USB cord for charging. It did not. I went back to the store to get an exchange, not a refund. A female employee greeted me and I asked her about an exchange. As I was telling her my issue another female employee (I assume some sort of mgr. or owner) came to the counter and immediately started berating me. "Really? Six weeks?" I said I wasn't looking for refund just exchange. Her: "How do I know you didn't just take them?" I told you she wouldn't. "See?", she said. The she said, "You'll have to contact the manufacturer." I said "You sell me a defective item and it's MY fault?" Her: "Well...you don't have to shop here." Furthermore, their prices are outrageous as I was to find out after doing some comparison shopping. They know they have a captive audience when it come to adult novelties. This sorry excuse of a customer service person totally shocked me. ZERO knowledge of how to work with customers. If this infected boil of an employee were on fire and I had a glass of water, I'd drink the water. My rating is actually ZERO stars.

Great place to visit with the family!…read more The family and I came over thanksgiving break. We found this location thru trip advisor. Downtown Burlington is a very small city and church street marketplace feels like a mall I find in middle America. We came on 11/30/19 and there was a nice big tree. This marketplace is about 3 blocks long and is a small strip of small local stores/ shops/restaurants/ and art galleries. The family and I spent about 1.5-2 hours exploring, shopping, and perusing local goods. If your in the area this place is definitely worth checking out.

It's very pleasant to stroll along Church Street, especially in the summertime and there are plenty of benches where you can sit and people watch. Church Street Marketplace has a mixture of chain and local stores. You can find everything from used books, to outdoor gear to name brand clothing. My favorite stores at Golden Hour where you can find lots of cute gifts, Smugglers Notch Distillery where you can sample delicious vodka, gin, bourbon, and maple liqueur, and Flora & Fauna - a second floor store filled with curiosities and oddities. Unfortunately, The 10,000 Villages store that I always enjoyed visiting, the Sox Market, and the Earthbound Store that I always found beautiful clothing in have all closed. There's also a great Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop on Church Street, several restaurants in a range of price levels, and some very comfortable cafes. Definitely a place you will want to spend some time visiting when you are in Burlington.

My daughters went in to try dresses for my oldest wedding. They walked in without an appointment…read more She picked out two dresses there she really liked. Both dresses were 200. or more. The Woman working wrote down the two style numbers of the dresses Because she knew my daughter wanted to bring the girls back to try them on. She did call to see if she could set up an appointment. The owner was rude and said it is Prom season so they would have to pay to use the two fitting rooms. The money would go toward the dresses When she bought them. My daughter said I was just there and we did not have to pay to use a fitting room. He mentioned on the phone that he was not in business to keep the internet going. She was going in with the girls to have them try on the two dresses and see which one they liked better of the two. That would be at least 800. in his pocket. She decided they would all go together without an appointment. They showed up shortly after opening. The Owner asked them if they had an appointment when they said no he said they could come back at 3:00 and they had to pay for the fitting room. He again mentioned it is Prime Prom season. So if you go to look at prom dresses you do not have to pay for a fitting room. If you go to try on Bridesmaids dresses you do? When they refused to pay to have an appointment the Owner went off on them about how he is not in the business to support the internet. The five girls left without trying anything on. I called Mark going to say one of those girls was here from Texas. He immediately cut me off and said " you don't know the whole story. Have a good day." He hung up the phone on me. Again these girls were in fact going to go in and pick one of the two dresses my daughter really liked there. They had full intentions of buying there. Thanks to Mark's unprofessional manners they did end up going online and found different dresses that look as beautiful and cost less. He in fact lost 800.+ because he was straight up rude!

When they walked in store they were immediately told to take their shoes off and leave them on the carpet. And the sales people also asked if an adult was present. Even though they are 18. No pleasantries or welcomes were made...just questions barked at them. My daughter and friends are a range of sizes but were looking fwd to shopping and trying on dresses together. The sales staff didn't even ask what kind of dresses they were looking for or what their sizes were. Instead they guided my daughter and her mid size friend to the 0, 1, 2 racks at one side of the store, then brought her other plus side friend to the opposite side of the store that had larger sizes, in a smaller selection. The girls were hovered over...watched... only allowed a couple dresses at a time, and were never engaged in a fun way, making the experience positive for them. Instead, they all felt body shamed, since my daughter and friend were bigger than zero through two, and their other friend was banished to another section. The sales people also seemed annoyed to have to deal with teenagers, period. All of whom had plenty of money and were prepared to spend it! We went to David's Bridal last year for prom and they were much more welcoming and helped us enjoy our experience. Their prices and variety of styles were also a lot better. Unfortunately they closed down this year. I'm aware that Needleman's is in a different class of stores than David's bridal, but boy do they act like it. Uppity and snobby. And again, we were able to pay their prices if the girls had found something that they liked. There are also no refunds or returns, and they don't sell accessories. I guess they're that confident in their overpriced inventory? This "scene" must go over well with the wedding crowd or older customers? Or they treat others better? Not sure how they will expand their market if they treat 18 year olds this way. I will never go there again for dress for myself or for my daughter.
