I've contacted Kelly Services multiple times over several weeks asking about job openings. Every…read moretime, I get the same vague response: "We'll put you on the waiting list." Despite my persistence and follow-ups, I never hear back. It feels like they just brush you off with empty promises. Their communication is terrible, and they haven't helped me find a single opportunity. If you're serious about finding a job, I wouldn't rely on them -- they simply don't follow through.

I was recently contacted by Lori Anne Santos, Senior Recruiter at Kelly Services who offered me a…read moreTemp Role Contract. I was very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of what the role consisted of. Lori Anne did a phone interview at the first point of contact. She kept the phone interview light, humorous and informative. Within an hour of the phone interview, I was offered a temp contract and I accepted immediately. She then explained the Onboarding process and had me in the office at Kelly Services within the next day. She encouraged me to ask questions and checked in on me on my first day at the job site. By the end of the week, she called and emailed me with further encouragement as she heard great reviews of my job performance. Since being hired through Kelly Services, Lori Anne Santos has checked on me weekly, not only about the job, but to see if I am well and ultimately happy with the role I have. I have now been offered a full-time, permanent position with the company and have so much gratitude toward Kelly Services for having Lori Anne Santos as my recruiter... not sure I would be here without her expertise, support and encouragement. I found a great bunch of fun, loving folks to work with... Love my Job!!! :) Thank you Lori Anne... Maria Lopez

I got royally screwed and unfortunately am now unemployed as a result of whatever happened with The…read moreMice Groups, which I find appalling. I interviewed for a role and was contacted the following week by The Mice Group letting me know I was offered the position. The Mice Group asked me if I wanted to start the new job on 6/7 or 6/14. A couple days passed and let them know the 15th would work best, by the time I signed the offer letter and let my employer know, the 15th made the most sense. I received an offer letter from The Mie Group on 6/1, signed and returned it on 6/3, with a 6/15 start date as noted in the offer letter. On 6/8 I was told that my start date may be pushed out but they would let me know by that Friday, 6/11. I never received a call on 6/11, it gets better... On Monday the 14th, I asked for an update and was told they still did not have one for me but they were working on it. Needless to say, I did not begin the job on the 15th. Instead, I was told they wanted me to interview again with someone else. Yes, this is all after I accepted an offer and signed an offer letter. On 6/23, I spoke with someone else at said employer. I was told this would be more of a conversation than an interview, which was NOT the case. The person I spoke with did not even know I was given an offer letter, in fact, he laughed and said I should "take it up with The Mice Group", real nice. I was informed a couple days later that I would not be proceeding with employment and did not have the job. Yea, the job I signed the offer letter for. Amazing. So, I gave my employer notice and now am out of work. Thank you to The Mice Group for screwing me over, royally. I would NOT recommend working with these people. Oh, to add insult to injury, when calling for my references they disclosed the position I "was being considered for", after I signed the offer letter, and then tried to poach their services to my references. Super professional.

As an international student, timely reporting of my employment status and specific support from the employer to maintain my visa status. The Mice Groups, specifically the Director of Operations, Hayley Chan-Culpepper would try and keep the processing times for these documents and procedures as low as possible, typically sending them back the same day. In fact, I don't remember a single time when there was a delay in communication in general. While my entire employment was remote in Seattle, WA, that did not affect anything, as everything was handled very efficiently over emails. Another advantage would be the type of jobs which the Mice Groups provides. As a contract employee at Innopeak Tech, the job required me to be on my toes all the time and gave me a great opportunity to grow. The fact that I was a fresher, meant that this was the perfect place for me to begin my career. That, combined with the awesome support means that I can recommend The Mice Groups to anyone looking for a job during these trying times.

These guys got me one lame assignment eventually, but I have no respect for the way they do things…read more After I'd already started the job, recruiter Lisa Souther pinged me to insist that I harass SEVEN of my former colleagues to fill out a tedious candidate evaluation survey (at which point Nelson spams them with an awkwardly phrased e-mail signed in your name). I've never met an agency that requires references (honestly, what's the point when it comes to short-lived work where they can drop you on a whim?), much less one that THREATENS TO FIRE YOU if you don't comply. The fact that I was already on the job made the request twice as pointless, and twice as inconsiderate. These guys also like to pressure you to leave positive Yelp reviews in their name. I was asked explicitly. Check out the mile-high pile of filtered reviews. Finally, when my assignment came to an end, Lisa didn't even bother to notify me, so I ended up wasting my time & gas to show up for nothing. That last point goes beyond being unprofessional. That's just not doing your job.

She…read morebrought me into her office, had me sit down, and get a little comfortable, just to tell me that I didn't fit the qualifications of the position because I didn't have a customer service background. But, if she would've read through my resume, she would've seen that I had a more extensive background in customer service than QA testing. So, I went and talked with Kendal Johnson, she apologized for Nicole's actions and explained more in depth what the client was looking for, and that she would give me a call when she hears something from other clients as well. *They asked for 2 copies of my resume, but somehow Nicole was stilling going off one from over 2 years ago.. with my maiden name on it. *Nicole just needs to work on her customer service, you can learn something from people by just talking to them instead of talking down to them, I understand you're trying to fill a position, but please don't rush people out. Yes, you're working for the client/organization, but you work for a staffing agency, so you're working for those who are looking for jobs too.
