I got a recommendation for Fix it Fast from an acquaintance, and I'm SO GLAD I took her advice. I can't say enough how enjoyable (a word I never thought I'd use in the context of car repair) my experience was. Becky was exceptionally nice on the phone and in person. They were able to figure out the issue with my breaks and do the other upkeep things I needed quickly, and for much less than I was expecting to pay. I would definitely recommend Becky and Jesse to anyone in the area looking for a small, local auto shop that does exceptional work.

These are HONEST and caring people- possibly the most important qualities in an auto-body shop. We were referred here by a friend to deal with a possible transmission issue in a 4-year old Toyota. Needless to say, we were FREAKING OUT about the possible costs for the repair. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement!! Before we came in, they "ballparked" an estimate between a few hundred dollars to ~$2500 (worst case scenario). So, my husband dropped the car off and they gave him a ride to work. The mechanic took at look at the transmission, confirmed there was some play and that we needed a new torque converter. The new estimate was now ~$4100 (which nearly killed me!!) because of the extent of work that would be needed. BUT, the shop called over to Toyota and learned that the converter was actually covered under an expanded warranty that I knew NOTHING about (yea, thanks Toyota for not telling anyone about this...). Fix it Fast actually recommended that we take it there and deal with them to get this replacement part under warranty and any other work needed done. They even wrote a summary of their observations so we had it specifically to speak to the mechanics at Toyota about. And the cost for all of this work? ZERO DOLLARS!! I literally couldn't believe it. This shop took the time to speak to us on the phone (repeatedly), to drive my husband to and from work so we could leave the car, to do the assessment of the repairs needed and write it up and charged us nothing. I often find myself telling people that customer service means more to me than most things and this place absolutely demonstrated how excellent customer care makes loyal clients. I will be back for all of my future car needs without a doubt and will be telling everyone I know that there's honest and reputable people here. Thank you!!

At the time, they were about to close, so I said I could drop by the next day. The guy strongly suggested I leave my car there so that they could work on it first thing in the morning. Given we are both Chinese, I believed him. So I left my car there and asked him not to work on it until he gave me a quote. I didn't hear back from them the next day, so I called. They told me it's going to cost more than 1000$ to fix the window. I think it's too expensive and wanted to figure out something else. However, when I went to pick up my car, Lei's insisted on charging me 45$ for the mechanic inspection. I didn't think it was fair, but as a lady who wants her car back, I had no choice but pay the 45$. No one informed me that leaving my car there would cost me 45$. In fact, I think they set me up for this. Not honest people, not recommended.

Had a pretty disastrous experience with Savage and would strongly recommend taking your car…read moreanywhere else. Three main problems: 1. Completely non-communicative. Never called me a single time, I had to chase them down constantly for updates and information. 2. Rude and inconsistent. One person told me one thing on the phone one day. Said he would send me information, but never did. When I called back the next day I spoke to someone else (the owner, I think) who was extremely rude, claimed that the person before hadn't said what they said, and vaguely threatened me. It was beyond bizarre to be called a liar when I was just repeating back what I had been told by one of his employees the day before. When I told him I had another person (a man) who had been on speakerphone and could corroborate everything I was saying, he got slightly less rude to me, but the whole thing was really terrible and insulting. 3. When it was time to pay them, they texted me a picture of an invoice, with no way for me to pay it. I had, of course, to call back the next day and give them my cc over the phone. And then, when I picked the car up, the guy ringing me up was like, "Hm, I can't tell how much you paid." Wtf?? They seem to have fixed the issue with my car, but honestly, I think I would have done better to trade it in than to deal with weeks of trying to work with Savage Hybrid shop.
