The selection at Kevin's carpets seems really good to me, and the sales people there are helpful without being pushy. Somehow I chose a beige carpet out of a hundred shades of beige that was just perfect once installed, soft and cushy. The sales person worked out the best way to maximize the carpet for the room shape as it came on the roll, and the installers were quick, did a beautiful job and put all the furniture back in place. I had to have them come back to replace some pad where rain had come in during the heavy rains this spring and had gotten the carpet wet going into a closet. Their seams were so invisible I didn't even see them and I had ripped the carpet up trying to get up the carpet to remove the wet pad. They seamed the ripped carpet back together where I thought I had ruined it so it doesn't even show. Great professional work! Thank you Jeff and the rest of the crew!

We set the installation date for mid-August at Diana's recommendation. She rescheduled us SIX times. Each time was on the day of the appointment and for a number of different lies. Her installer was sick, he was scared of immigration, he got in a car accident, he was at another job, his back was hurt, they didn't have the carpet (?). I was patient and understanding each time but started to get frustrated. They finally came to install it end of November, beginning of December. Within ONE month of it being installed, the binding started coming off in multiple places and was pulled off and frayed completely in one section. When I reached out about getting it fixed/replaced, I was told that it was probably a vacuum (?) that did it. Shouldn't I be able to vacuum my stairs without a new product being damaged? Diana lied YET AGAIN and told me that even though it wasn't their fault (?) she would replace it. At that time I was told that they could replace the single section that was severely damaged without having to pull up the entire runner. We were rescheduled TWICE before an installer and Diana's son came out to let us know that they did not have the supplies they needed to fix it because they actually WOULD need to tear the entire runner up and redo it. I reached out to Diana who scheduled me for a replacement installation that has now been rescheduled FOUR times. We have texted, we have called, we have gone into the store. Nothing has changed, nothing has happened, and she has still yet to take responsibility for being a TERRIBLE business owner. At this point, we have threatened legal action to which we were told "go ahead but we provided the service we said we would." We have asked for a refund and been denied. We have asked to pick up our replacement carpet ourselves so that we could have another more reliable carpet service install it. And she has said TWICE now that she is unable to get the carpet despite having taken the time off for us to pick it up. We finally were able to pick the carpet up from the store ourselves and take it to Carpet One where they bound it and installed it for us within 2 weeks. If you can avoid Kevin's Carpets DO IT. It is not worth your time, energy, or money.

    STAY AWAY - DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE!…read more On March 2024, I purchased over $14G worth of carpet from Kevin's Carpet. What followed was over a year of delays, missed appointments, broken promises, and subpar installation -- all of which caused significant disruption to my life and work. The installation was scheduled and rescheduled multiple times. I took several days off work only to be told the carpet "wasn't on the truck." Later, I learned the delay was due to a custom carpet order -- a fact that was never clearly communicated upfront. Eventually, things seemed to progress: my carpet was removed and new padding was installed to prepare for the install. But after weeks of living with just padding and tack strips, the carpet finally arrived. Unfortunately, the issues only got worse. The installation had visible seams and multiple snags -- including one so large that the carpet zippered. Diana, a representative from the company, did attempt to remedy this by sending a crew multiple times. The seams were improved somewhat, but never to an acceptable standard. Throughout this year-long ordeal, I lost countless hours waiting for no-shows and reschedules. Last May, Diana promised to include a backsplash as a gesture of goodwill for the ongoing inconvenience. That promise was never fulfilled. At first, the excuse was a lack of an installer; later, she claimed it was because she believed I'd "never be satisfied." I ultimately had the backsplash installed flawlessly by another company -- without any drama. As of today, I still have multiple snags, visible seams, and buckling around door frames -- which I've been told is "normal." I leave it to future customers to decide if this is what premium carpet should look like after numerous fixes. My biggest regret is being too patient and not standing firm sooner. My advice: do not pay Kevin's Carpet upfront. Wait until the job is done right -- or risk being dismissed as I was. I am now left with no choice but to pursue legal action, replace the carpet entirely, or hire a professional to fix it -- all of which are costly, unnecessary headaches that could have been avoided. Went in last week to request a refund from Diana and was told a check would go out in a day or two.....and two weeks later still waiting. I called today to talk to her and spoke to an extremely rude staff member. Filing a complaint today with the CFPB and the State Attorney Generals office. Stay away from this place

We worked with a few members of the Oser family to facilitate…read moreour flooring project over the course of a few months following some unexpected expenses on our side which delayed our ability to start the project. During this time, Todd, Donna, and Larry were courteous in keeping their correspondence regular without being overbearing, and we were able to stay on the same page without feeling pressured or frustrated by the exchanges. Additionally, we felt that the cost of the project was competitive for that of a smaller company given the quality products and opportunities extended by the Osers to minimize the cost of the project when it was first discussed. Despite the already competitive price point and the delays to the start of the project which may have otherwise resulted in changes to the cost of the materials needed, the Osers were extremely hospitable in working to keep the quoted price the same once we were ready to get started. Additionally, after we worked with the Osers to address a miscommunication on our part which would have typically resulted in a minor increase in the cost of the project, we were able to once again maintain the original quoted cost of the project due to the company's flexibility and understanding. Last but not least, our floors look incredible and the members of the installation team were friendly, efficient, and competent throughout the installation process, which took only a day to complete. To summarize, we received flawless results at reasonable prices without a moment of stress to show for it, and we couldn't have asked for more out of the experience.
