Most do have plastic covers, but without the backing boards comics can and will degrade as people flip through them, causing spine issues and degredation of quality. Due to this, I ended up going to World of Comics exclusively where all comics were stored properly. A good shop to visit to check out the oldest running comic shop in town, and maybe find some gems, but overall the lack of proper storage for the back issues turned me off.

One of my top priorities upon moving to Tulsa, finding a local comic book store. Exploring the city…read morefor the said comic book store, I found Wizard's Asylum. The name instantly caught my eye, because Wizard's Asylum was my go to comic book store in Norman throughout college. Well, I found out this is the original. Wonderful experience. They have everything here. Comics, board games, action figures, collectables, graphic novels. Also, the store is fantastically organized. DC and Marvel have their own sections, in alphabetical order, while other publishers have a collected section. Organization is huge, I can get easily distracted and confused in book stores, so I really appreciate this. Every time I have been, Wizard's has had a 50% off table with random graphic novels, etc. on it. Really like the workers, knowledgable, relatable, non-elitist (you know what I mean, sometimes there are those "nerds" who try to make you feel inadequate if you don't know your stuff), and overall helpful. Perfect for the comic book veteran and someone who may just want to stop in and look around. You never know what you may find!

Plus, the fact he was willing to go in his backstock (conveniently located under the tables) to check for me that alone gives him in this place three stars. I had ordered several preorders from along with other comics that were not preorders. I knew I would have to wait. I emailed them and they had said they would ship out the orders as soon as all items on the order were available to ship. I will attach all of my orders, emails and postage cost as images to this review. The first order I should have gotten were the Sirens: Love Hurts #3 and #4. #4 came out on 5/13 and they should have gotten that day per research I did on how comics are run and delivered. I didn't receive any kind of notification that the order had been shipped. I wait until 5/20 to send them a message asking when it will be shipped out. Rhilee responds that they are waiting on my other order and then they will ship it together. I have paid $6 shipping per order. They should ship separately, unless I asked them to ship it all together, which I did not. They never informed me that they would only ship out once a month, or whatever they were doing, since that would be overcharging me for shipping. I had made 6 orders with them and on only one order had I said it could wait until the other preorder that month was able to be shipped. They are OVERCHARGING me for shipping! I am very displeased about this and email to cancel all four of my other orders. Connor responds and states they will not be canceling the other orders and so I will not receive my money back!!! I've never had this happen before. Even when I have ordered from other comic book stores, they just ship out the order as it was ordered! Even if I bought something the very next day, they just shipped it! I've had a seller on Etsy offer to ship orders together, but then they offer me some money back on the shipping. That is not what this store is doing!!! Even after I wanted to cancel and they refused, they stated they would ship what I ordered that was available to ship right away. I paid $30 in shipping and only got some of my items! They have not offered any kind of money back due to this issue they have caused! I got the package today and figured out through the USPS website that they were only charged $15.10!!! I want my money back!!! Since they want to play games on when they ship out items, I only want to pay for the shipping when they are ready to do so! And I only want to pay the actual cost! I sell things online, too, and I don't do this to my customers!
