BEWARE SCAM!!! This Dentist scammed my family. My daughter goes to Sarasota military Academy and she received a text message on her personal cell phone that is paid for by her dad, which is me. It is from comfortable care, dental, reminding her of an appointment. She replied that day and stopped by on her way home from school not knowing or discussing that appointment with me. I do have insurance with principal and I got a call from the front desk lady stating that "SIR , it will be $200 for her visit for her x-rays an exam and I asked her why she was there, she said. This is preventative treatment. I stated that we do have dental insurance and then she wanted that number two run it. Sounds pretty normal, but here's the deal. When I was getting ready to give her my insurance card. I kind of scratch my head and wondered why we were at the dentist today and since we are moving. I decided we wanted to use the dentist up north and the lady would not let my daughter leave without pay any $50 cancellation fee. So is on the phone with my daughter in the front desk lady came on saying that we will go after you for the $50 will go on your parents credit. If you want to take advantage of minors by texting them appointments and charging them when were not even a patient of yours. You can go F*$k yourself Dr. Scam. I wanted to make sure that all the parents out there know that this is a scam going on and it's a good lesson for your kids and to be aware of these businesses in our community. read more

I have had much work done there . My first encounter cost me 15,000 dollars which was just the uppers and several of the teeth had to be removed after I had paid over $800 a tooth . She is very pain free except for the price . My subsequent visits have been even worse . I went in to get a crown and they deadened the wrong tooth ,gave me too much Novocain and my heart started racing which kind of scared them a little and me too . So I didn't get the crown I needed and on top of that they charged me $70 dollars for the mix up . I later went back (bad on me ) and she had to pull the tooth for another expensive visit ! I wish we could get affordable care for our teeth but it is big business. I feel like the look in your moth to see how much money you have and could care less about your oral health it's sad the greed in our health care system. After spending over 17 thousand dollars I only have a few back teeth and it is very hard to chew ! I felt like and animal that they were not interested in because I couldn't spend another 17 thousand . Sad but true . She is pretty pain free except there is no compassion . read more

I have been bringing my son here since 2015 and when we first started coming he was a maniac in the seat and he wouldn't let anyone touch his mouth. In less than three years they have gained his trust and provide us with the best care possible. He now comes to the dentist knowing that they are not going to hurt him and we actually get things done now without sedation. The staff is very caring and very good to my son. I was also shocked to find out that they do braces right here in the office which makes my life so much easier. It is a true professional dentist office. Thanks comfortable care dental! read more

By appointment yesterday resulted in no comfort and no care. Two hours and 15 minutes and did not even see the dentist. The dentist was not even courteous enough to come in and tell us that she had a problem. Everyone's time is valuable.We finally had to leave the room after being in the chair for close to two hours. I had a great experience with Dr. Judy LoSecco and her caring team members. I had pulled out a crown while chewing a caramel and she was able to see me right away to re-cement the crown. She accommodated me even though I was not an existing patient. The price was more than fair. I felt respected and was not pressured with up-selling techniques to purchase more services than what I needed. (I should mention that I called at 7:30 am Monday morning and my call was answered by the receptionist, not an answering servce!) read more

I had my last unpleasant experience at Comfortable Care Dental today... I arrive for my appointment 2 minutes early and when I approach the desk to sign in, the receptionist proceeds to question me as to why I didn't confirm the appointment ( that I personally made a couple of weeks ago), telling me that if they hadn't been "less busy today" that they would have cancelled my appointment and given it to someone else... She expressed this all to me with great frustration as if I had personally done something to her. I told her that I was completely unaware of this policy though I have been there for maybe 3 or 4 other visits. She also threatened me that "if I had not shown up" they would have charged me $50.00" ...All of this was annoying and irrelevant because I was at my appointment, and was early. She was just letting off steam on me. I wasn't expecting to be interrogated and then asked to see my phone to show her my text messages... and in the text reminders, it never says "CONFIRM THIS MESSAGE OR YOU'LL BE SORRY"...I told her I just didn't know, and the other girl said very rudely how she told me in the voicemail she left me with a big scowl on her face (as she obsessively scrubs her desk with Lysol wipes) like I had personally wronged her by not checking that voicemail yet.. PLUS I honestly don't answer the phone anymore now that there are so many random numbers calling me and interrupting me at work all the time. So, I was shamed for not checking my voicemails where they informed me of the whole we will cancel your appointment and charge you money policy...They made me feel like I had done something wrong, but I was never informed of this policy. This morning I receive a message from them that says "see you at your appointment this morning!" Nothing ever said a reply was required, I thought it was just reminders. So really... they were just being needlessly unpleasant! I read other reviews about a mom who felt she was mistreated here and she also referred the girls in the front office...And another about how the receptionist is domineering on the phone about when to make appointments and controlling in the way of speaking over you. Though they may be sweet most of the time, you don't want to rub them the wrong way... that is for sure. Just don't forget to confirm your appointment or you may get interrogated and threatened today like me! Since when is making the appointment not enough? I appreciate the text reminders, but to me that's all they were-- not a requirement. And also the dentist tried to tell me how crooked my teeth were and that "I might not think people can tell, but when I talk, they can" I never asked her about orthodontia or straightening my teeth, but she literally tried to upsell it to me by telling me that my teeth would look unpleasant to other people..... Salesmen salesmen salesmen, but not very good at it. bye bye! Good for your first visit but then everything gets crappy after they get you in the door. Don't fall for it! read more

Dr. Judy is truly a professional and a very well informed and helpful person, not trying to build her business off your money. I just met her and was so impressed with her group-I'm recommending everyone I know. I have to go to the dentist every 3 months so I've seen a lot. Awesome and also, in the face of some unexpected challenges, they came through with flying colors. Thank you, Dr. Judy. she didn't even have much time in her schedule but made the visit count.
