I asked him several times to not do that, and even got out a fender cover to protect the paint, and he still continued to do it. The other Prime Auto Glass employee kept asking him to stop as well. Bottom line, they would not fix the small rock chip because they said it had too many spider cracks radiating from it, and made a mess all over the hood and A pillar of my car. I took it to a competitor, and they fixed it with no problems. I will NEVER go back there. EVER!

The tint did not go the edges of the window (almost 1/4 inch from the edge) and the shop that installed it told me they couldn't do anything about it. They said the machine that cuts the tint, does this always, and there was no way around it. I called and spoke to Josh, and he explained that what I wanted was a "shaved edge". It is a method that's actually old school, and it is where the installer "shaves" the window right at the edge to create a super clean look. I ended up having them tint my vehicle, and it looks incredible. Super laid back people all around, and a way nice shop. Sucks i had to spend almost 500 to find all of this out. Hopefully this review helps someone avoid the same mistake.

Trust me, you don't need to look any farther. My 97 Land Cruiser had failing tint on every single window. The old tint was bubbling, cracking, torn, and discolored. It was an embarrassing mess. More importantly, for this review, it was a mess that nobody wanted to deal with, because removing old tint is not easy. I was actually turned down by two other tint shops before I found Vic. Vic didn't even flinch. And he did a PHENOMENAL job, tackling this dirty work and tinted every single window, including my new windshield and sunroof as well. If you take even three minutes talking to Vic, you will understand that he is the genuine article. He truly does care about his customers and doing a professional job. And he has the experience to back it up. Vic has been doing this for decades. He's the type of guy that will take the extra time to get it right and make sure that the job looks perfect. After two months I picked up my car and had questions about the repairs done and asked Cory. His response was he didn't know he didn't work on it. He really couldn't be bothered. So I took my car home after the two months and parked in my garage. Within one day, it was leaking oil now and the power steering leak didn't get fixed. I called and they said to bring it back, but the wife who is the at the front desk was acting like I was putting her (them) out. I asked her if there was an issue with me and if I was bothering her. She got extremely defensive and hung up on me. I literally just asked the question. Anytime I called there, she had a bad attitude. I reluctantly took the car back in and left. I started feeling unsure about them and my girlfriend took me back within a few hours to pick up the car. After the phone interactions, dealing with bad attitude and them being rude or defensive to me when I asked questions. I didn't trust them anymore with my car. When I went the office to get the keys, they told me there was a diagnostics fee of $132 which was not discussed with me when I dropped off the car. They refused to give me the keys without me paying for the "diagnostic fee", and I made sure they knew I was paying it in protest. They were belligerent with me and continued to be so with my girlfriend even as I was getting my car to drive away. They went so far as to calling me a f-----g baby because I excepted some level of customer service.

They thrashed the adhesive on mine trying to take it off and put it back on. It no longer stays on the windshield and falls off frequently. I reached out to them and they said there was nothing they can do. We had to scrape black gunk adhesive off the new windshield and purchase additional materials to fix it. If they can't offer any solution to a problem they caused I would rather they not even try to put the dash cam back up.

After the installment they informed me that leftover glass would be in the door but would not affect the new window. A short time later I used the window for the first time, rolled it down, and it became stuck. For several days it would not budge, we even tried manually lifting it, to no avail. They had also left broken glass on the inside of my car. I brought it back into the shop and asked them to take a look at it, because it had worked perfectly beforehand. This is where my one star review comes from, because as soon as I brought it back in the employees turned hostile and unprofessional. They informed me that it was not their problem that the window was not working, but ultimately agreed to take a look at it. A few days later I received my car back and it was working, they claimed that it was working when I dropped it off, which it was not and I had attempted to use it again in their parking lot minutes before dropping it off, it didn't work. While the window now worked broken glass in the bottom was now scratching the pane as it moved. Upon asking them to fix the glass scratching the new pane they had installed they told me if the glass got scratched it wasn't their problem, they said I paid only for the pane of glass and for it to go into the car... not that it would work properly when there. After bringing up my warranty I was told about when picking my car up they aggressively and rudely said that it only applies to windshields. Which they neither told me when they gave it to me nor does it say on their website under "warranty". I was also told that this is a regular issue their customers run into, and they know that leaving glass in can damage the window regulator and scratch the glass, but that it is not their problem. The glass pane costs about $75 so for a $300 service I expect the expect the product to work as intended, not to be given back to me with high probability of failure that they both know about and are unwilling to fix. Ultimately unprofessional work with misleading claims. I am willing to change this review if the desired help is received but until then I advise not going to this company for work on car door windows, as they know their service is faulty and leads to long term problems for customers.

Quote was less than other companies in the area, which was a big reason I chose this place. Brought my vehicle in next day, and it was finished in about 30 minutes. Fast! I got home and did a quality check to find 3 of the 4 windows had a defect or flaw in the installation (hair between the film and window, piece of something in another window, and some of the pull film left on another). So I went back and explained the issue, without any hesitation or resistance they checked out my truck and fixed all 3 windows for me, same day. Through the entire process they were professional, friendly, and prioritized my issue. Although there were some flaws in the initial work, I would definitely return for other vehicles I own, and would 100% recommend bc of the overall experience.
