Where do I start.. did a quick surprise overnight with my husband to get away. The rooms are not well taken care of, very dingy and run down. Holes in the restroom door, bathtub wasn't cleanest. Coming home from dinner homeless approached me "I have $5 do you have any ICE to buy" WOW I was in disbelief someone would ever ask me that! Then looking around by car there was used syringes and condoms!! Go to take a shower and no hot water, ok there was a bus of students and i thought to myself "maybe they all showered and it needs to heat more water up" NOPE! Called front desk and spoke with Blanca who already had a attitude and she said there was a broken pipe and there's no how water, asked for a manager and of course there wasn't one on site. Poorly maintained rooms and lack of cleanliness overall. My visit to the area was to enjoy my son's Coast Guard graduation. The website and pictures led me to believe the Comfort Suites would be great accommodations so that I could focus on the ceremony. What I discovered upon checking into the room however, began to detract from the overall experience. Stepping into the room it became clear that the overall upkeep is not a core focus at this hotel. That's certainly unfortunate and between shoe scuff marks on the walls, food apparently ground into the carpet, hair on the shower, and people's discarded Q-tips on the floor , I certainly got the impression that the only thing housekeeping does is remake a bed that possibly someone already slept in. When it became clear that we did not wish to stay another night in this hotel, we approached the front desk and asked to have the reservation canceled and be refunded. We were told that since multiple nights were booked that refunds for any night was impossible. So to any readers of this review , first I would urge you not to choose this hotel unless it's your last resort, and additionally I would urge you to look at the room they are trying to rent you to ensure it's safe for your family. ​ read more

Not very clean. Lots of homeless people around. Towels are not collected daily and room is not picked up. I do not recommend this hotel!

I booked two queen beds and they gave me two full sized beds. Not a big deal but they up charged $5 for the difference. They only provided one bath towel in the room. When I tried to call the front desk i kept getting disconnected after multiple rings. Finally walked to the front desk to get extra towels. This is a motel (external doors) not a hotel (internal hallway doors) like most Comfort Inns. Also I am a Choice hotel member a this is the first time I have been asked for a damage deposit too. The philosophy at this hotel is the customer is not always right. I booked a room with 2 queen beds at the Inn at Rohnert Park. When I tried to check in they told me I only reserved 1 queen bed. There was a mix up between the booking website and the hotel and even though I produced my confirmation number and email showing I paid for two rooms they made me sit in the lobby for over an hour while it was straightened out. I had my confirmation, what did they think would happen if they put me in a room while they sorted it out? Zero customer service. Avoid this place. read more

I live in the area, but stayed here one night when my water at home had to be turned off. I should have paid a bit more. The highway was noisy as well as some of the other guests. The room was the absolute bare minimum. I didn't expect it to be brand new and spotless, but it's clear the room has seen a lot of wear and tear. Not the worst room I've been in, but definitely in the bottom 25%. I ended up using the bathroom, took a shower, and then drove home to sleep in my own bed. Booked here last weekend and was quite disappointed (not my real name). The noise volume from the freeway/ freeway exit ramp directly across from the hotel rooms is insane! Management placed me in one of the units across the horrendously busy intersection/freeway and I should have immediately tried to change it because there was no good sleep to be had. Probably would have been charged. When I arrived around 8 PM there were also some of the male maintenance workers standing around underneath my unit, talking and lingering for an hour by their trucks in the parking lot. It made me uncomfortable to get to my room. The room was clean but extremely basic - no chair or lamp except a wall lamp, noisy wall fan. Probably could have gotten something just as basic at a motel 6. Not impressed, and if you're looking for a good night's sleep, try somewhere else. Was able to book a room with a queen-size bed with no problem with BILT credit card points. Nothing wrong with the room aside from being unable to connect the TV to wifi to use netflix or youtube. The TV was able to play through live channels. The Inn's parking lot connect to Taco Bell and Burger King. Overall, everything was very ok. read more

Less than zero would be accurate. Arrived about 6:00 PM waited for someone to check us in, I finally called the front desk and this guy comes running from outside. Bed is the worst I have slept on in 30 years. WIFI SUCKED after 30 minutes finally connected but 30 seconds to delete an email and even longer to load another. No coffee maker in room, no Continental breakfast. One coffee pot in lobby. No bed side lamps so you had one overhead light. Vending machines out of order. Ice machine was probably 100 ft from our room and it was making awful noise all night. They are hoping to become a Choice Hotel they are not even close. I use Choice Hotels so I didn't double check. DO NOT STAY HERE! So we booked a room. Actually 2 rooms. Used our points. Got to the hotel early. Said no check in until 3pm. Understand that. We could check in with an extra fee.... again understand that. I also book a non smoking After I made the reservation, I called.... my questions were, are the rooms together, answer was when ever u make a reservation with 2 rooms, they are always together. I also told them, we need bottom floor.. cause of my husband's handicap... not a problem was the answer. When we get to the room, mind u 3rd floor. It smells like someone smoked in it. Then the TV doesn't work. I tried calling and the phone doesn't work. They offered me 15 dollar refund. I have a headache now from. The smell.. not only should they refund me all my points which not sure how that works. But some how try and get some sort of better service .. Additionally, my kids room front door did not lock. How are you going to have hotel rooms without working locks?? That's a huge security issue. They had to barricade the door for their own safety. They also told me they thought there was a hidden camera in the room and they had to stuff a towel in a suspicious broken light hole. Very disappointed costumer. read more

Good: Pricing is ok if you are in need of a cheap room. cons: Inn At Rohnert Park , There is a small room to do your laundry in.il I found this out because i went into the office to ask, which i was told yes . I go to do laundry, i put money into the laundry soap and dryer sheet dispensing machine. which dispensed dryer sheets and laundry soap. there was also a garbage can which is obviously emptied every day. that had some used laundry soap and dryer sheet boxes. suggesting that they are operating. There was one sign that said 1 set was out of order. i go to get change to do laundry in which i was told they don't work. this is after already went to the office to ask if they had a laundry facility.then she said they don't work. well why didn't she tell me that when i went to the office? Did she just not want to give me change.... then she said she thought that i had asked about a microwave which i didn't. i had asked her three days before if there was a room i could get with a microwave. which i was told no they don't. there is loud banging at all hours probably due to the construction. no amenities what so ever. anyone who is a choice member should take there business to the Cambria down the road. they list rooms have microwaves when you go book a room. this is a quote from the website. The manager never did get back to me and I finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I have finally received my refund with my credit card's help. The inn at rohnert park was a yearly destination for me for about 12 yrs before they changed to this pathetic ownership. I will be finding a new nearby hotel for my yearly trips to Rohnert Park. read more

The only reason for one star is that there is no wifi. They have three different wifi names, two different passwords and none of them work. They have known about the problem and simply, according to staff, refuse to fix it. When traveling wifi is critical and to not have it at a hotel gets a 1 star rating. read more

The WORST. Would give minus zero stars if that were available. A HUGE, rundown property which, as I understand, was recently purchased. They are doing noisy and messy "renovations" and should really have the property closed (or demolished) while doing so. The place is a liability. My two brothers and I gathered there to attend a local event. The banging started early in the morning and went on all day long. The rates are unreasonably high (especially being under construction). HUGE holes allover the exterior walls. Exposed hallways lean to the right and are littered with tools. When you call their number it promptly cancels the call. The in-room phones are disconnected. There are no amenities. The elevator is use-at-your-own-risk. The front desk staff are unresponsive. The air conditioning did not work, the front desk said they would send somebody, they never did. A guy with a clipborad came by to "take inventory" (meaning checking to see if there was an occupant in the room) and I mentioned the air conditioning. He said no one placed a work order. He fixed it. The property is probably 5% occupied. PLEASE don't risk staying here. read more

Staff was rude and inappropriate. Front desk hung up on us multiple times when we had a question. We asked about early check in and she told us we can check in at 12:30 with no charge. When we showed up to check in she denied everything she had said on the phone. She said it would be $80 before 1. We waited until 1 and the room still wasn't even available. She told us we can check in earlier, once we arrived she said she would never say that. Why would we make that up? The confirmation for the room and what my boyfriend signed did not match what he was charged. He was significantly overcharged. At the end of our stay, one of the cleaners searched for my boyfriend on social media and requested to follow him twice now in less than 24hrs. Pretty sure her name is Natalia. Is there not any guest confidentiality? It is inappropriate because she obviously had to go into the system, search our room number to get his name. I stayed here 1/25/2024 for one night. I booked two rooms, one for my 94 yr old dad and one for myself. Our rooms had no working heaters, and I was told there wasn't any maintenance on site to fix it until the next day. I went to the front desk to ask for soap and was told they didn't have any and that I wasn't the only one asking. There were also no washcloths, and the TVs did not get any channels. Exposed wires in the room. I called to let them know about heater first then,] I walked up to the front desk at 2am to complain, I called at 3am and 4:30am because I couldn't sleep from it being so cold. I wanted to make sure that they made a notation on my reservation because I was going to make a formal complaint. FYI, they go under Good Nite Inn, Inn at Rohnert Park, Comfort inn and the girl that works night said they would be Quality Inn soon she thought. I made a complaint with Shai the girl working in the morning, and she promised me a call after she talked to the owner. Still waiting for that call.
