Stayed here a couple of times recently. A far better deal than the Hampton Inn up the street which is more than twice as expensive for only slightly better quality! The problem is the clientele. It attracts mostly construction crews. The halls are thick with the smell of marijuana and the parking lot at night is even worse; not just weed but alcohol as well. Throw in some drunk guys playing soccer and it's not exactly family friendly. read more

Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly staff and an unexpected upgrade since the standard king rooms were booked up. The room was HUGE and we enjoyed the extra amenities. The bed was very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that the continental breakfast included more than just muffins. There was a waffle maker, cereal, eggs, sausage, pastries, and breads. It was required to take breakfast back to rooms due to Covid. Comfort Inn lived up to their name. read more

Stayed here twice on two separate occasions and it's truly not a bad hotel, just perhaps a little older. The first time, our room got upgraded no charge to the luxury room with this huge jacuzzi that was placed in the living room space -- weird placement, but s'all good. Ok both trips here, we stayed for a couple of nights so we could look for corundum day Mason's Mine. This place is a nice distance from that just on the outskirts of Franklin and was a pretty good deal. Parking was never an issue and it we found it to be quiet every night. Folks at front desk were always friendly. Only think that needs an update are the breakfast options: they didn't even have an bananas. Sparce got food items available, but we ended up trying a few local diners for breakfast. Overall, not a bad stay if you're ever going through Franklin, NC. read more

My wife and I spent a night recently at the Comfort Inn on Cunningham Rd. Franklin, NC. This hotel is an older one apparently. The room was pretty clean. The beds were generally soft and uncomfortable and neither my wife and I slept well. The bath towels were thin and one of them was literally threadbare. Photo attached. Ive never in my life seen a towel like this, one can buy towels in better condition at Goodwill. read more

I dont think we will stay here again. There was a contingency of workers at the hotel working for asplundh there to cut trees in the area. There were workers walking around constantly leering at my wife and then cooking meals in the hotel rooms. The hallways constantly strongly smelled of cooking and grease burning to the point of it catching your breath. The hotel staff was nice, but we felt unsafe. My wife would not leave the hotel room without me by her side. Whoever managing the hotel is allowing it to turn into the Microtel down the street (except THEY will boot you out for cooking in the rooms). ' read more

The hotel was busy and the front desk service was good. The first room we were assigned smelled like smoke and had ashes on the window sill. The document you sign at check in states you pay $220 to clean the room if you smoke in it. I went to the front desk and told them and they immediately switched me to a room that smelled much better and was cleaner. The beds were soft, but if you have back issues you'll wake up stiff. Other than that it was a nice stay. read more

This place really exceeded expectations! The gentleman at the front desk was extraordinarily nice. Such a refreshing change of pace from mediocre service that has become the norm in today's world. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and fresh. This hotel was a great value for the money. read more

I stayed here to do some business in town. The room was reasonable, $75.00 and for a $15/night non refundable fee I was able to bring my dog. The Bad: The hotel is not that clean. When entering my room it smelled old and musty. The bed was adequate as was the HVAC. The bathroom is typical with the exception the toilet seems to have been installed for the Munchkins. Very close to the floor, so if you have bad knees, or your a guy, not so good. Cold water, yikes!!! The dumpster was right outside my door, the gate to it was falling apart and in the area behind it there were numerous pieces of trash and food scraps. The parking lot had trash as well. The rug outside my room was filthy, but I'll let that slide because it is right at the outside door. Stains need to go. For the south, the staff I didn't think were all that friendly. The Good: Nice larger refrigerator for a hotel with a decent sized freezer. Dish network with premium channels. Taco Bell, KFC, grocery store a rib joint and the welcome center are within a few minutes walk(literally). Good breakfast. I had sausage patties, a pre prepared cheese omelette (still good) various muffins, toast and bagels. Cold milk, hot coffee. Plus the requisite yogurt and hot/cold cereal. I saw a waffle maker but did not use it. Breakfast tables were very clean and there is a TV. Right on hwy 441 in Franklin. As far as total value quality goes it's just an also-ran. I think there are probably better deals to be had. read more

This was a random stop for us on a fourteen hour drive with three kids. The hotel seemed nice enough upon arrival although I felt bad for the girl checking us in, she was alone and was clearly stressed with no help. Upon getting to the second floor, it smelled old and musty. I opened our door to our room and it smelled moldy and musty. We looked around a little to try to find the smell but didn't see anything and were so tired we just went to sleep. Upon waking, my husband started to investigate the smell further and finally found it. The entire bottom of the entertainment stand that housed the mini fridge was covered in mold. It was disgusting. We were leaving so when I checked out I told the girl at the desk (a different one from the previous night) about our complaint and how gross it was and showed her a picture. She didn't seem alarmed nor did she care..I thought maybe they would offer us a partial refund or something but we didn't even get an apology. Very disappointing and also disturbing because I'm wondering how long people have been complaining about this and they have been ignoring it. I doubt they will even reach out or respond to this but just beware staying there especially if it's an extended stay as that could make you feel ill. read more

Ok I'm picky when it comes to Hotels and Motels. I'm not sure what the one reviewer had happen w their room but ignore that one. The lobby was top notch as was all the hallway on the way to our room on the 3rd floor where I prefer so I don't ha w people's kids stomping around above me! Ya know what I'm saying u have had it happen! Our room was immaculately clean and I'm not kidding! You could smell the clean and u k ow what I mean! The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Nice good sized flat screen TV and a good selection of channels. The bathroom was immaculate as well. I can usually find something to complain about we were good here! Pics shown are an accurate depiction of the rooms unlike some that show old pics when it was all new! Not here. Very nice rooms w Micro and fridge. Both very clean! Carpet was super clean also. Enjoy ur stay! The owner was outside when we left on a Sunday weeding even! This review was done on 7-11-21 read more

the room hot tub worked great. the room was clean but huge. the pool was pretty bad it needs to be repainted and it seemed a bit dirty and no tables or chairs really. The breakfast was mediocre. I think it's a bit overpriced for the area. Safe and pretty quiet good enough for one night. No signs of bugs and bed was okay. Staff was friendly helpful and there seems to be some feral cats around the hotel poor things. read more

I stayed at this hotel a couple months ago while on a business trip. The young lady at the check in desk was very helpful, and was knowledgeable enough to answer all of my questions. The rooms were clean, and the wifi was much better than I usually experience. The only downside to the entire experience was the TV's in the room were smaller than usual. read more

We stopped without a reservation. We got a king room with AARP discount on a Saturday night. $114.00. This hotel is nothing special. Bed was awful! room smelled like stale smoke even though hotel smoke free. Food for breakfast was fair - no tray to take back to room so awkward. Nothing to do in town and no where other than fast food to eat. read more

Stayed here for a long weekend of rock hunting and relaxation. Not hard to find with GPS, and parking was plentiful. After making reservation with Debbie, she gave us a mountain view room. Rooms were clean and staff was very accommodating with any needs we had. Only gave four stars because there were no chairs in indoor pool area. Breakfast was the same every morning. Not a bad thing but a little variety may be helpful. Have to say front desk staff and housekeeping were friendly, polite, and well informed about the area attractions. On the whole, check in and check out were easy. I would stay here again read more

Stayed 09/20/19 - 9/22/19. Price was great at less than $100/night for a king room. Hotel and parking lot were fairly clean. Felt safe entire stay. Third floor hallway smelled awful, old, musty, and like stale cigarettes even though hotel is non smoking. Room was large and adequately clean. Sheets did have stains on them. Lounge chair in the office part of room was torn very bad, like the leather was coming off. Toilet was really low to the ground. Mold was growing in the bathroom and paint was peeling off the walls.Towels and washcloths in bathroom were worn through in some spots, not quite holes, but definitely threadbare enough to see through. You could tell there was graffiti painted on the bathroom wall and it was poorly covered. Could still see it clearly over the thin, poor paint job. Breakfast was inconceivable. Looked terrible. Didn't even try to eat it. Went to hardee's for a biscuit instead. Handbook in room advertised a hot tub and heated pool. Went downstairs our last night to swim and sit in the hot tub. Pool was freezing cold and extremely dirty. There is no hot tub anywhere. No tables and only 2 rickety lawn chairs that nearly fell apart when sat in. Hotel also advertises having a gym, it only has a treadmill and elliptical. No weights. For a quick trip it wasn't terrible. I would say the hotel is adequate at best. Probably won't stay here again in the future. read more
