About an average CHOICE property. Clean and comfy room with an average breakfast - not much variety. Very nice indoor pool room.

Falsely accused of stealing a pillow and absolutely insisted I was a thief! There was no talking to the front desk gal "Jackie" about the charge on my company credit card. She was rude and actually left me in tears. Insisted that I was the thief, and that I must return the pillow. I would never take anything from a hotel. She left me feeling just awful about the whole situation and never even considered that this could easily have been a mistake. I returned to the hotel to possibly speak with the manager, in which Jackie told me that she was not available and she could not be contacted directly. After calling me a thief again, I suggested that maybe she or the staff could have misplaced the pillow and she told me to leave and called the police! I was not aggressive in anyway. My boss called to try and talk to her and she hung up on him as well. I honestly would have paid for the pillow, but it was out of principle that I would not because of how I was treated as scum AND the fact that no, I did not take the darn pillow. Do not expect to be treated with respect here.. this place lost business today. And I have stayed here for 15 years. Wish I could give it zero stars. :( EDIT: I was contacted by the very sweet manager and she was very apologetic and refunded the falsely stolen pillow charge. I will be going back, for sure. I was on the Selkirk bike ride. I had booked the Hotel well in advance. Several members of our group did not have their rooms available when they arrived and had to scramble to find a hotel at 7:oo PM. Totally mismanaged hotel. read more

Extremely clean rooms, smooth checkin with friendly staff (hi Juanita!), comfortable bed, and surprisingly excellent complimentary breakfast (eggs, sausage, waffles, various breads, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, etc). Room a/c was effective and didn't rattle which is a pet peeve. Easily exceeded our expectations, would stay again. read more

This inn took the "comfort" part of their name extremely seriously. My bedroom was big with a clean comfortable bed and lots of pillows, the AC/fan worked perfectly without rattling or other weird noises, the bathroom was one of the cleanest I've ever seen in a hotel. The shower temperature was consistent with great water pressure and the bedding (blankets, shower curtain, etc) were clearly set up to be cleaned regularly. Example - the shower curtain is fabric to make for easy removal and washing (unlike plastic which loves mold). Definitely aware of the current Covid era. But wait there's more! I have never seen a continental breakfast like this one. They had the standard cereal, yogurt, coffee, but then went above and beyond with hot fixings for a breakfast sandwich (eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits) or, if you're feeling decadent, your choice of plain or blueberry waffle, made freshly just for you. I had both ;) My only complaint (and it's not a real one) is that the wifi was a little slow, but it was readily available and the Inn was full (unsurprisingly :). 100% would stay here again. read more

Room and staff were excellent. Management was rude and watch out for changes in charges. Once you check in the extra fees show up on credit card. 2 nights in a row I had to address unauthorized charges. Management blames everyone & everything but should take responsibility. read more

BEDBUGS! Don't stay here! First night I checked in the room assigned was not cleaned when I went in. Towels on floor, bed unmade, and box of garbage . Front desk managed to put me in new room. After that night I awoke with about 10-15 red bites all over my body. There were bits on my feet and the whole day prior I had my boots on so I know it was not bites from being outside. Bed bugs or fleas could be the issue and comparing pics of symptoms / bites to mine it appears to be bedbugs. Cancelled the rest of reservation the next day. Front desk said they have not had reports of bedbugs before but that's not true ( see other Yelp reviews ). Additionally, the hotel hallways amd rooms are generally smelly and dingy. This does not meet the standard Choice Hotels has and the owners / management should deal with this issue . My advice DON'T STAY HERE! read more

Night time staff was very friendly. The room was nice and our beds were very comfortable.

This establishment does not support mask wearing during Covid by its employees or customers. At check in the front desk person was not wearing a mask and there was no plexiglass shield. Housekeeping staff did not wear masks and customers checking out did not also. A simple thing to put in place and it wasn't. We ended up not staying and our money has not been refunded. read more

Comfort Inn - Hotels Near Me - Colville, Washington

Since my boyfriend doesn't have air conditioning at his home and it was going to be 107 degrees for the outside temperature, I got him a room at this Comfort Inn for some comfort and relaxation. The air conditioning unit did not work and was only blowing hot air. He called the desk 3 separate times and each time they came up they said that it was fixed yet wasn't. They never once asked him if he wanted to change rooms. When his stay was over, the manager (Shivani) would not give him a refund or even a partial refund. She said that she could give him 1000 points. Why would he want points when he plans to NEVER stay at another Comfort Inn?!?!?! I would avoid staying at this hotel! The management (Shivani) was rude and did not offer any type of customer service read more

PROS: Staff is very friendly. Nice continental breakfast. Amazing beds and pillows. Spacious rooms. Free wifi. Indoor pool CONS: Thin walls. This location is clean, right off the highway, and has a great staff. The evening attendant was friendly, without being insincere, and was efficient in getting me checked in. The room was clean, the soap smells amazing, and the beds were super comfortable. I love the new pillows as well - something for everyone! All of this and free breakfast? That's what I'm talking about. Don't get me wrong, it's a budget hotel, and there are no frills (not even an elevator,) but it's better than anything else in town...and a great smelling soap + a good bed can go a long way when you've just driven all day to get there! read more

I stay here at least once a month. My kids love the pool (a little more so when they were younger, but the Hot Tub is getting more attention now). The staff is friendly and the breakfast is fully stalked. There is a store across the street and a Wal-Mart around the corner. There are plenty of places to eat with in walking distance. read more

Our business team travels around the State for work and had a job in Colville. I stay in a new hotel every other week. In terms of a quality hotel, Comfort inn was our best option. I booked four rooms for three nights. (4 Travelers) My Impressions: Lobby- decent and has couches, chairs and a computer for guest use. Check-in- super long lines and one staff. I sent over my business credit card authorization months in advance and they did not have it at check-in. It took about 45 minutes to check-in. The hallways- dark and dreary. The room- basic two queen bedroom. Had a microwave and fridge. The bed appeared disheveled. Almost as if they didn't wash the sheets. The sink area was dusty and had foreign hair (hair that doesn't belong to me) on the sink. Then, I saw this speck on my bed. And my first thought was BED BUGS! The remedy- I called the front desk and asked, "what's the procedure for a dirty room and bed bugs?" The front desk lady says, "I don't know, I'm going to have to call the manager and find out." Well. . . This is 38 minutes later and the manager has not been called. The woman is swamped at the front desk. There are 7 more people waiting to check-in. The manager is obviously not on site. How are you running a hotel as a one man band?? I don't understand. Where is the help here? And if she is a one man band, who is really cleaning the rooms?? Is it her? Is this the reason for the spotty cleanup job in the room? I have questions and I need answers. Finally got up to the front desk. The woman called the manager and informed her about my complaint and asked her "what am I supposed to do?" She got off the phone and said "she said it's probably not a bed bug because they travel in packs. But she said to change the sheets or move you to another room." I told her I'd sleep in the lobby on the couch before I sleep in the same room. She then moved me to a room upstairs. Thank you for the new room. I do have questions though. . . Is this the normal procedure for an alleged bed bug siting? You just change the sheets and leave the guest in the same room? This can't be the appropriate procedure. read more

Only a couple little things could be better. I stay in hotels maybe 30 or more days a year so I grade on the best and the worse. This was a solid 4 star place and I will be back. The room was comfortable, quiet and the breakfast was up there in the same class as the Best Westerns and even a couple of the Hilton's I have stayed. They had some different thickness pillows that I like instead of all fat ones and we were even ask what floor we wanted! If you should find yourself in Colville, stay here. read more

When your in Colville, you want a safe clean place to stay. Comfort Inn is it. While there are not many indulgences here, they do have a nice pool and hot tub. The building is simple and aged, as are the rooms. There is no Holiday Inn, Hyatt, Marriott, or Four Seasons here. read more

Clean, comfortable place to stay in Colville, where options are somewhat limited. It's a pretty boring looking place but the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. I didn't have breakfast but it looked okay, not great - probably about average for a free hotel breakfast. Advice - keep moving. This hotel is located next to a marijuana shop. Checked in - room door and windows were wide open airing the room out. Red flag - so asked desk for another room. Incompetent desk clerk called the manager's wife, change of room refused as they feel the room is clean. Put bags in room, complained to desk one more time, and left to meet coworkers for dinner. Came back and room wreaks of pot smoke. Poorly managed hotel that manages to survive because it's the only game in town. read more

We stayed here recently for a week. There are not a lot of options for this area and this seemed OK. The room was fine and clean, but the lady that works in the morning and runs the breakfast area is not very personable at all. The warm food for breakfast even around 8 was slim, with little left and what was left looked like it had been sitting there for too long and needed to be tossed out. The woman was on her phone constantly, and when she went to clean rooms would leave the cleaning cart in the middle making it hard to get around if you had anything in your hands. Got a knock on the door by an irate front desk/laundry person who said our room smelled strongly of marijuana, and she was going too charge me for smoking in the room. I told her we did not use drugs and the smell was coming in thru the window and or a/c unit. There is a marijuana store adjacent to the hotel and it's customers buy pot and smoke it behind the hotel on the the grass or in the smoking area. There are other reviews stating the same basic facts, you can't make this stuff up. The front desk person also stated that they had people check out and cancel reservations the day before because of the smell, implying it was our fault, she was extremely rude, beyond horrible. And low and behold their was a revised bill under my door with a smoking fee attached, quite the little money maker they got going on. Put pot heads on the back lawn, charge the customer who's unfortunate to have a window open, and pretty much call you a lair when you try and explain it wasn't you. Beware, unless you want a room that smells like a skunk, and pot junkies roaming around, and be treated like crap by a staff member with poor listening and communication skills, the woman shouldn't be allowed to work with the public! read more

It's clean. Beds are comfortable. Continental breakfast is decent. I gave it 4 stars, because it's the nicest place in this area. There's not a lot to choose from, and I have stayed in most of what is available. You will not be unhappy if you choose this inn. read more

Dont usually like staying at chain motels , but we stayed at another place in town and that wasnt working, but loved the place. Hard to get excited about stuff you expect, clean room, bed, and such, but this was a nice place, spacious, had fruit for breakfast, and nice pool,..didnt get to use the pool but looked at it when I got ice... pricy for a small town hotel, but not compaired to other places I have stayed. Hot coffee in the lobby whenever you need. Very helpful staff. read more
