You run the risk of falling out if it. They offered a continental breakfast and what put out the first time that was it. Have a problem with key card. I had to go back three times for it to work. It never did so we had to change rooms. No one at the desk after 9pm. I mention we needed towels. They just put hand towels and drying towels on the bed. They came to clean the room. We left the ironing board up and when we came back it was still up. They never made the bed at all. I know they changed over to another name but service was horrible. To keep the party going, me and my bf decided to get a telly for the night. It was my birthday and had a couple of drinks at our dinner. We did not want to go home so we decided to get a room for the night for us two to enjoy! I booked the room through a third party and got a great price for this location. My bf and I always like trying new places. It was a bit late and had to check it with a person through the kiosk. I believe the deposit was $100 if I'm not mistaken. The room was spacious and really big! I really liked the layout and I loved the fact we had the bottom room floor. I hate being the upstairs neighbors! It was quite peaceful to my surprise because it was right off the freeway and I expected it to be loud and soo noisy. It was quite the opposite! Very chill and peaceful! The rooms itself look like they've been updated and very nice. However, upkeep was a problem. There was a shower cap over the fire detector, there were no hooks or hangers for towels in the bathroom, there were two TVs in the room and one wasn't working, but the biggest issue was the upkeep. Run far away from here. This was the breakfast at 9:15am Christmas morning. It's not supposed to be closed until 9:30am. So basically what u have is ppl who overtook too much food and are hoarding it back in their rooms. No eggs, no juice, no waffle mix left. Not even the juice machine at all. I usually stay at best western heritage inn in concord and figured I'd try Antioch this time to be closer to family. I was hoping they had cleaned things up by now around here but they haven't. The first room they tried to give me was filthy with hair all around the floors, it hadn't been swept. And the heater a/c didn't work. Terrible stay. We were traveling so we picked a hotel that offered breakfast. In the morning, we were informed the electricity was out in the breakfast room so they couldn't plug anything in. I wonder how often that excuse is used. Then, to top it off, when I went back to my room, I noticed roaches on the wall. Didn't see them the night before or I would have left. First off the man at the front desk Kamesh is what he said his name was, was extremely rude. We walk up to the counter and he says nothing, not even a hello or how can I help you. He gets all of our information and slides over our room key. As soon as we walk into our room it reeks of cigarette smoke. The floors are completely scratched and crumbs everywhere. Also the bed comforter had hair all over it along with the shower. Extremely disgusting. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with my recent stay at your hotel. I have been trying to get in contact with the manager regarding my issues, but have had no such luck. Even after staff told us that the manager would be available to assist us today around 9am.   Upon checking into my room, I was appalled to discover that it was infested with cockroaches. This is completely unacceptable and far below the standard of cleanliness and comfort that any guest should expect. Not only was it extremely unsettling, but it also made me feel unsafe and very uncomfortable throughout my stay. I was shocked that a hotel operating under your name would allow such conditions to persist. Not only that, but it could also be labeled as a health hazard in the state of California.  To make matters worse, I was shocked to find that both the microwave and refrigerator were located inside the bathroom. This is not only highly unsanitary but also poses serious health and safety concerns. Storing food appliances in a space meant for hygiene and waste is completely inappropriate and, frankly, disgusting. The circuits in the fridge are also not meant to withstand the high humidity levels and moisture present in a bathroom, which can lead to an electrical hazard. I cannot understand how such a setup was approved or allowed to remain in use. My partner and I reported the issue multiple times through in person and over the phone. The first time I brought up the issue was after my initial night when my partner woke up to get ready. I then reported the incident at around 11am in person, but the staff that "helped" me was extremely disrespectful and would not let me explain my situation. I requested a refund for the following nights but he told me that it was out of the question, but that I could be transitioned into a new room. I agreed as to give this establishment a fair chance, but was once yet disappointed to find the same issue. This experience has not only disrupted my trip, but it has also severely damaged my trust in your establishment. We're both here on military orders and it is extremely frustrating that we're already dealing with stressful situations, and have to come rest in a dirty room full of cockroaches. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the room itself was impeccably clean, except for one glaring omission. There were two locks on the door, so I felt very safe. I was granted, (after some emailing back and forth), a late check-out, which I appreciate. The location was perfect for my needs. It WOULD HAVE BEEN A WONDERFUL VALUE, except for the FACTS that I shall list below : Once I arrived, I realized that the front desk was woefully under staffed. I was literally DANCING to use the restroom after my long drive. Hire more people, - please. My stay in my room was warm and inviting, except for when I looked in the shower stall, and noticed ALL OF THE PUBIC HAIRS, (three of them), (I took photos), and I promptly utilized the shampoo provided to scrub the shower CLEAN ! OK, so The "Comfort" Inn loses a star for that. The rest of my stay went on with no incident, except for the very loud people who can't be bothered to use their indoor voices at 2:30 AM. I did sleep after they wore themselves and their vocal cords out. But, imagine my HORROR, - WHEN I WENT TO TAKE MY SHOWER the following morning, and lo and behold - THERE WAS NO HOT WATER, AND A MERE TRICKLE OF WATER PRESSURE, - to get clean with ! I paid 150.67 for this room. But, there was no viable usable shower facility in it. I paid for a room with the expectation of working plumbing. I think that The "COMFORT" INN SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THIS, - AS THIS IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE. The "Comfort" Inn should DO BETTER ! I shall post my review on Yelp and Trip Advisor, and wherever else, in order to warn others to bring their cleaning products and to take a bath before they book a room at - The "Comfort Inn, - in Antioch. If they can convince me that they fixed this terrible problem that they have with their hotel plumbing, then perhaps I will edit my review. But for now, I feel quite cheated out of 150.67 USD. My credit card company reversed the temporary credit they provided me after the manager of this hotel claimed we had stayed the two nights. I have provided my CC company with a copy of the credit receipt I was provided by receptionist TY when we cancelled the second night and they are reviewing reversing the charge in my favor. I have also now lodged a complaint with Choice Hotels and directed them to my one star Yelp review that has pictures and numerous other complaints from customers about this hotel. My lesson learned is not to trust that just because a hotel is within the Choice Hotel group that it will be up to their standards. I will read reviews, look at pictures, and check other hotel chains in the same area before just choosing a Choice Hotel again. I'm currently residing here as we speak and I absolutely hate it here. I'm placed on the lower level, where there are people hanging around in the parking lot and making noise. It also constantly feels like someone is knocking on my door and trying to break in. I feel very unsafe as we speak. Also, they place very small pillows on the bed and I can't sleep. The pillows are way too short and they're causing me to have neck and shoulder pain because I can't get comfortable. I called the front desk asking for bigger pillows but I was told that they only have one sized pillows which is a small pillow. I uploaded photos on this review so you could see for yourselves. Several people from my family and I all stayed here for a weekend in October. We had four different rooms. All four rooms did not have any type of hand soap available in the rooms and all four rooms had empty shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower. We asked Friday night at the front desk to have housekeeping supply the rooms with soap and shampoo and when we checked out on Sunday it was still never done. The new renovations of the rooms were very poorly done with bad craftsmanship and poor quality furniture and decorations. After checking out I was supposed to get my deposit back but for some reason they kept $4 for the room safe which we NEVER used so I should not have to pay for it. I complained and was told I would get my $4 refunded. I eventually did but it took two different people to figure out how to process it and have it go through and clear 15 days later. I was also told by 365 Hospitality that $10,000 points was added to my Choice account and to provide the names of my party who also stayed at the hotel so they could be credited. Account shows no points credited and I never received a response to my last email. Poorly Run, Poorly Manage, Poorly Cleaned, Poorly Serviced. Place is a shithole now. I came for an early check-in, Front desk clerk Ty was amazing. There was an issue with my card on their end. I explained that the funds came off my card and the issue was on their end. Ty remains calm and did everything she could to assist me. She called I believe in operational manager and they informed her that she would have to recharge my card regardless that my card showed that they had got the money or call to help desk didn't offer any instructions for her on how to do it herself. After she called to help desk they call transferred her to another department which she didn't know what information to give them she was just not trained she did the best she could but she was not trying she did not have the tool she needed and nobody in upper management would help her out or just show her what to do. read more

Where to begin ... stayed 7 days for a funeral. Not 1 day of maid service. No towels, even when we asked the front desk ... they were out. Shower head leaked. Bathroom door didn't close. Disgustingly filthy floors that turned your feet black the second you stepped on them. Chair and bedspreads stained with some disgusting something. Lamp didn't work. Coffee pot in lobby out of service (which really sucked since there was no maid service so no new coffee pods each day for the room). Grab and go breakfast (if you want to call it that) was a microwave burrito or a granola bar. The parking lot overflowed with construction vehicles with trailers taking up 4-6 spaces per vehicle so you could not get a parking spot. My tire ended up getting a nail in it from construction garbage strewn throughout the parking lot. Then there is the wonderful noise coming from the construction people who stay there partying it up at 2 am ... and let's not forget the freeway noise and the lovely parents who decided to scream at their child to shut up and stop crying at 6 in the morning. Cheaper than other hotels in the area, but not what you'd expect from a Comfort Inn. This place left us with mixed messages. When we checked in, there was a long line of people and only one person handling the front desk. At one point, some manager-y person popped his head out and announced, "We'll be with you shortly," and went back in his office. Check-in took inordinately long. On the other hand, as soon as we got to our room, the head of housekeeping came around and asked if everything was ok. The room was obviously furnished from a swap meet. The furniture, every last stick of it, was low-quality, mismatched, second-hand garbage. The sofa literally is the most uncomfortable thing I've ever sat on. On the other hand, the room was clean--at least the first day. We were here for two days, and though they came around and made the bed, they didn't clean up the water that had dripped from the fridge (which was noisy as hell and ran all night), nor restock any of the amenities. The breakfast is low-effort and the worst I've ever seen in a Comfort Inn. The wi-fi is also the worst I've ever had. It seems the owner regards this property as a cash cow and doesn't want to sink a single penny in it that he doesn't have to. This hotel sits in the corner of a major freeway and a major highway. All night long the road in front of the hotel is used as a drag strip with no police presence at all. They were doing donuts in the middle of the street at 2:00 a.m. and it was so loud it scared the hell out of us along with dozens of other races during the night. If you do stay here be sure they put you as far away from the highway as possible. As far as the rooms go, they're okay but hot water is limited and the pool and the hot tub were both broken. The staff Gigi and I think the other member was Emily? They were extremely helpful when we checked in and there were no rooms available, hence the 2 stars however, the rooms were another story. My dad stayed on the ground level non-smoking room that smelled like smoke and the shower was dirty and did not appear to be cleaned. I believe it was room 173 or 179 but it was a single bed room. Me and my sisters stayed on the third floor in a one queen size room with a pull out sofa. I pulled the 'sofa" out and it was a hollow box no mattress plus the noise level was ridiculous especially being right by the freeway. Sound proof windows and doors would be helpful. Rooms should have been $85 a night versus $165. AVOID this hotel if possible. I called because I forgot to get my DL back from them when we were checked in. Gigi confirmed they had it and "security" would mail in the morning. I called a week later because I never got it and although Gigi confirmed my license was gone from the drawer, she had no idea what happened. Not her fault. Long story short, they never sent my drivers license. Good thing I had to renew anyway. I left messages for "corporate" office and no response. When we checked in they had given us a room that was already occupied. Fixed that but the next room smelled of pot. In fact, most things around the motel smell of pot. There is an in-room coffee pot but to use it you have to move and unplug the microwave because there are not enough outlets for it. The heat / AC does not work. The towels are nice but there are no towel bars on which to hang them after use. There is no a bath mat, which is a bad idea as there is no shower door. Three more nights to go here. Day 2 HVAC fixed and a burned out light bulb changed. Back from a long day about town to discover that "due to COVID" the rooms are not serviced daily. I understand, but you will have to start us off with more than a half roll of toilet paper for our 3 night stay. Nor will 2 servings of coffee suffice. Stayed in room 319, 8-13-2020 Floor was sticky, my feet were black (had to wash before going to bed. Someone had stuck their fake eyelash to lamp shade on right side of bed. Had No hand towels or wash clothes (only 2 bath towels). Refrigerator had wet spots in it (could clearly see it hadn't been wiped out. That room exhaust fan . Told front desk lady about it around 9:30am on 8-14-2020. She wrote nothing down and didn't seem to concerned. The lady who checked us in was absolutely wonderful and was very helpful. The breakfast was great, but they need to do better with the set up. No hotel, inn, or whatever should have the toilet & refrigerator in the same area. Unsanitary and gross. Have closed shower doors too. The staff were kind and helpful. read more
