I will say it isn't the fanciest BW I've ever stayed at. For about 10 years we stuck to airBnbs only, past year given the outr fees/taxes etc , we have started staying in hotels again (at least you get points/rewards) Last year this hotel, our room was unfortunately not clean, so they immediately swapped us. No biggie. It happens. This trip room 209 was 85$ before taxes. Plenty of parking when we checked in around 8pm on Tuesday evening. I will say the woman who works that shift (same lady as last year) lacked any real customer service or personality. She seemed annoyed to check us in. However the older white woman the next morning was so outgoing and friendly, it evened out haha Breakfast was good. Bagels, cream cheese, pretty tasty sausage, decent coffee. Quite nice actually. The TV was wonky, we had to point the remote control behind the TV haha and eventually it worked. Beds both were VERY comfortable and quiet. All 3, we slept very well. Room service however shouldn't be knocking 2 hours prior to check-out, when we had the don't disturb sign. They were rude and unfriendly. Bathroom unfortunately only had 2 towels for 3 people and could use some updating. However it was a safe, cozy sleep. We still enjoy BW hotels. Many food options about a block behind the hotel. Wendy's, McD, KFC etc

This was our 3rd attempt at finding a place, evidently there was a convention in town. We were tired and hungry from traveling. Crystal at the front desk was amazing. She was so kind and reassuring. She happened to have 3 cancellations and got us right in! Crystal saved our trip! Rooms were nice but the customer service was outstanding!

We got checked into room 315 and it seem like everything was good while I got my son bathed and ready for a nap, until I noticed the back of the bathroom door during my bath. It was filthy (like it was splattered with something), and I got out and dressed. This made me look over the rest of the room. The floor like like it hadn't been mopped under the bathroom sink. And there was damage to the wall. I took photos and went downstairs to speak with the front desk. I asked if they were aware of the damage to the wall and other furniture as I didn't want to get charged the $250 fee for damage that was done to the room before we got there. She was appalled and immediately pulled us from the room to move us to another. My son and I packed out thing up and she went to inspect another room (135) and she informed us that that room wouldn't work but didn't tell us why. We then went and walked through rooms 110, 111, and neither where clean enough. There were stains and black hairs on the bed. She then went to upgrade us to a suite (room 326) but when we walked in there look like there was mold on the walls. When she touches them (checking to see if they were smudges), they flaked off the wall.So we're were back to square one. This whole time she had tried calling her managers and GM multiple times but no one would answer. Her GM finally called her back around 6:30pm and asked what was going on. When she was informed, she said that she had a problem that I waited until 6:00 when I checked in at 2:00 for me to find an issue with the room. She basically implied that I made the room dirty on purpose to get a discount or free upgrade (both my son and I are blonde and the hairs were jet black -_-), and informed Crystal to tell me that if I didn't like to rooms to refund me and I could leave. The issue is that no other hotels had the availability that I needed for my trip and I would have needed to go all the way to Little Rock and couldn't drive that far out of the way. I told her I didn't want to leave I just wanted a clean room. She then told Crystal to put me in room 135 as she had inspected it herself earlier that day (I believe this is t true as you'll see why later). At this point I had been awake for 30+ hours (I worked a 12 shift before starting the drive) and just wanted sleep. The room at first glance seemed okay and after asking for new blankets (one of the replacements was a duvet with no blanket) as they had stains on them. We settled in to finally sleep around 8:00 pm and this started our stay from hell. I guess the maids and head maid were furious that someone had complained as we received no maid service on 5/14 and 5/15. Anytime we needed towels or sheet we needed to go to the front desk or directly to laundry. My mother used to work at this location and literally had to physically go into the laundry room to get the things we needed while the front desk person supervised. Wednesday we had to take the trash out ourselves. we also discovered that the room shower curtain had mold growing on it (if the GM actually looked over the room how did you miss the growing mold?). I tried to be discreet when I brought it to the front desk and asked for a new one. The lady gave me a replacement one with no secondary liner. I then went back to get one with a liner and the young man who had taken over the desk gave me the second one and told me that I could bring the other one back later (relevant later). Things were fine Thursday and Friday, however Saturday things went to hell. We packed our things and went to check out and after we left I received a phone call about 2 1/2 hours later saying that they charged me $100 for the missing liner and the duvet that had the blanket missing. And the person who accused me of taking them was the same head maid that got in trouble for me being put through five rooms that weren't clean. They never even questioned the front desk workers who were there for the exchanged bedding and shower curtain. They just believed the word of the head maid. The worker who had called me was yelling at me over the phone and arguing with me without letting me explain and then when I told her that the GM needed to call me she said fine and hung up on me. Don't stay here. They don't clean and when you complain they charge you fees with no reason and scream at you. Worse 668 ( plus the $100 they refuse to refund me. Totaling almost $800) that I have ever spent. The money isn't even the issue is the principle of the matter and the fact that they believe the word of a jaded employee without asking questions or checking cameras and as a General manager in the customer service world I would never treat a customer the way this GM treated me. Even if I wanted to my boss would fire me.

After having a few issues with the nearest Best Western, which was my first choice. I re-booked at the Marriott here. Booking through Expedia is always a charm. You find the room. It's typically cheaper than what the hotel offers, and BAM, you're done, show up, and you're all set. Last night, my check-in process was all but smooth. I showed up, and the gal at the desk found my reservation, but said there was an issue with some number in the system she had never seen before. She called for help via phone a few different times. She tried different methods on the computer to no avail. We had been driving for about 14 hours at this point, so I was starving - holding food in my hands and unable to check-in. The system even told her that I needed to pay for the entire room again.... even though it was paid for on Expedia. Finally, 30-35 minutes later. Someone called her back, and we were able to get checked in and get our room keys. We basically ran to the room, ravenously scarfed down some Moe's, and settled in. After we got comfortable and finished eating.. we noticed there were several pistachio shells on the floor in front of the bed. Odd, no pistachios in mexican food... My girlfriend was in need of some toiletries, she asked for a toothbrush, mouthwash, toothpaste, and deoderant. We were told that deoderant and mouthwash were for sale up front. They also did not have toothpaste or toothbrushes. We crashed hard and went to sleep. The next morning we woke up and showered, and on the wall there was some type of soap scum and hair on the walls and in the floor of the shower. There was no bags in any trash can of the bathroom, I'm unsure as to why. Maybe it's for recycling, but we threw away salsa and queso into one. The fitness room was nice. It had a water fill station, but unfortunately, forgot pics. Treadmills and equipment seemed brand new. Great hotel gym. Breakfast: i opted for some cinnamon toast crunch, and once i got it into the bowl, i noticed there was no milk in the mini-fridge. So i used the considerably warmer milk that I think was meant as coffee creamer. Eggs, sausage patties, and breakfast sandwiches were the other options. Along with your typical waffle press, breads, desserts, and yogurts. When i went back for other food, there were no plates. Individually rated... The room was amazing. 5 Stars. Breakfast, 4 stars. Gym, 5 stars. Appearance from the outside, and common areas of the hotel, 5 stars. The check in process, just barely made it to 2 stars. The cleanliness of our room, 1 star. I noticed on their website, that this is a newer hotel. So, hopefully a lot of these issues get ironed over time.

Initial contact with a service rep was very poor. A gentleman was at the counter when I arrived (2pm and check-in is 3pm) and said he had been waiting about 5 minutes and no signs of anyone. I called the hotel and it forwarded to the clerk who was just stepping off the elevator with a second associate, the lady that answered was annoyed by the call. She informed the first gentleman man that check in was at 3pm not 2, and she knew the rooms were not ready. The second lady assisted me and I told her I was aware of the 3pm checkin however because of the weather the past few days I left home early anticipating delays on the highway. She was super helpful and accommodating and got me into a room. Which was great! As I told her it was no biggie I would just go eat and be back, but she got me in. The room itself was clean and not bad, the door sticks really bad, and the fire alarm was missing it's cover, and the room stays warm! We had the AC on the entire time. The main disappointment for me was the noise, being a newer location was the draw for our group, and I anticipated some noise as it was a bunch of kids in town for a meet, which whomever was above us stomped around f all night. However the outside noise was constant, you could hear the road noise all night, and the never ending garbage truck at 5am. Would I stay here again? If I come back to the region yes, as it is the nicest in the area, but will bring ear plugs.
