The room we got was clean and quiet, even though it was on the first floor. The staff were very helpful. We didn't use the complimentary breakfast. The common areas and exterior were also in great shape. We didn't see anything that caused us to be concerned. We would stay here again. read more

The moment I told our group that we were staying in Pine Bluff all the reactions were, "Oh honey, I would of told you to stay clear from that area." After that moment I was afraid. I had booked this hotel due to the proximity to the grocery store (in case we needed something) and restaurants. There hasn't been a lot of recent reviews for this hotel so I bit the bullet and booked without knowing the general area. However (italicized), I was completely blown away with the hospitality from all the employees here. Everyone here was super sweet and welcoming. Our check in process was smooth. We had a room on the second floor and had a nice view of the parking lot with eyes on our vehicle. I must admit that there was an incident that occurred on the day that we checked in (completely our fault). I did the walk of shame to the front desk and apologized as much as I could for the incident but they were totally understanding and was able to place us on the fourth floor. Our view was from the back of the hotel which went into our favor since at night it gets pretty busy out front with people coming and going (There had to of been an event in town during our stay 'cause the hotel was fully booked) and it would of distracted us. The hotel itself is situated far removed from the shopping area so either way, we felt safe coming and going to our vehicle at night. The rooms were clean and tidy. There was even a note with the housekeepers name that had attended the room which gave it a personable feeling that the staff really cares about their guests. We booked a two queen bedroom and the beds were comfortable. The AC worked perfectly as it was super humid and hot during our stay and the showers worked perfectly. The best part was that there was both a microwave and mini fridge in each room so we were able to store food and heat up at our leisure (no having to find the communal microwave). The breakfast provided worked perfect for us. They had all the classic fixings: Boiled eggs, fruits, cereal, waffle makers, and hot items like bacon, eggs, and sausages. On Sunday they had biscuits and gravy that was delicious. The staff often checked on how stocked the choices were and brought more out as the morning rush came and went. The dining area was clean, bright, and had plenty of seating along with large flat screen TVs that often played sports or news. It was perfect when we had visitors, we all were able to sit down in the dinning area and mingled before the nights end. I have to say that I truly appreciate the maintenance worker. I was in a rush one morning and he came up to my husband to ask if it was okay to give our girls Barbie Dolls that he had purchased years ago and had it sitting in his office. He said he didn't often see little girls come through and wanted to give them to our kids (Granted the incident that occurred on day 1 was from a scuffle between my two children). read more

We stayed a couple of times in April at this facility and could not have been happier. From the initial booking the first time to the final checkout Kenya was very helpful and kind. The facilities were very clean. The location was very easy to find and right off the highway. The breakfast bar was always clean and restocked and fresh coffee was always made. We travelled with our dog and she was very well received by guests and staff. When I was checking out Kenya even prepared us with treat bag for our journey! I couldn't say enough about the helpfulness of the staff. I would give this facility a 5+ for everything! read more

Headed to Florida late Christmas Day from Oklahoma. Not a lot of places to stay really and a lot of hotels have bad reviews. Even the reliable ones we would normally use. So I was very weary of this stay as I booked it in the car headed out of Oklahoma. When I walked into the lobby I was pleasantly surprised. Updated look, clean, coffee and teas available, snack foods for sale and room was clean also. The receptionist at check-in was very friendly and we arrived rather late. My husband went for breakfast and he said it was decent. I only had coffee and it was actually tasty. I didn't do 5 star only because we didn't use gum or poo, so I cannot give any info on that. I would recommend a stay again. The receptionist said they were doing updating soon. read more

This place needs some remolding updates for sure. Our room had pills in the floor beside the chair that obviously let me know the cleaning person is definitely isn't cleaning. Hair on the sheets and whomever clipped their toenails on the floor still. I had some Clorox wipes as I always travel with. Did a wipe down and it was terrible. Toilet rocks and the shower handle completely fell off while in the shower. However it was late when we arrived and had to be at a funeral so stayed. Nothing else in the area. The young lady at the counter super nice. The breakfast bar had mini waffles, sausage links and patties, oatmeal, juice machine, fruit, bagels, toast, eggs, cereal w/milk, yogurt. read more

I will never ever stay here again in Pine Bluff. I stayed 1 night and was charged a 250 smoking fee. I did not smoke in the room. and the manager at the hotel is so rude. I guess they need the extra money. Was told it was smoky in there how if I didn't smoke. This is is ridiculous I stay with Hilton all the time but never had to go through any BS like this read more

Friendly & helpful staff. Very nice & well maintained. Breakfast was typical fare. Bed was comfortable but very firm.

The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the front desk and breakfast staff were very helpful. The location and parking was fine. My only complaint is the beds. It was like sleeping on a board covered by a quilt or blanket. I did not sleep well, and I am a person who almost always sleeps well in hotels. This hotel would benefit greatly from purchasing some pillow tops or memory foam pads to add to the tops of their mattresses. read more

Newer hotel but it is undergoing renovation right now. Entire breakfast area and lots on first floor are demolished. Pool is closed prob due to covid. In nice area of a nice looking town. Our room was a king suite on second floor, which looks like it has been redone. Our room was very large. It had new carpet and maybe drapery and new couch. Other furniture has just been refused but is in fairly decent shape. Otherwise room had a huge desk, like literally ten feet long across middle of the room. Not sure why we need one that big. But the huge room has a very very small tv for the space. Room is fairly nice. This is our ninth Hampton inn in nine nights across six southern states. This is in top two. But unfortunately like most of the others, is visibly not cleaned very well. You can see exactly where they've wiped the tables, and hence haven't wiped them. Desk is very dusty along its base. Frame around bathroom door is gross. Wallpapered walls around tiny bathroom sink has what I think is toothpaste spots all over. Jetted tub did not work but was a wonderful surprise to soak in. I'm perplexed if this is stress from the burdens of covid or what. Or is it people just don't care and no one checks the rooms. I used to expect more from this brand. We've travelled extensively and Ive never seen such dirty Hampton inns. read more

Ok so we appreciated the room, it was spacious and clean, staff was very friendly. But the negatives outweighed the good. The worst problem was the hot tub. It actually burned my husbands skin. It was so hot! We notified the front desk, she said she was just reading a review saying the same thing, and had maintenance turn it down. He told us to wait about 5 minutes. After 20 minutes it was still unbearable. I was actually afraid to let my children near it in case they fell in. That could have been disastrous. The pool was unheated and cold but the kids didn't mind. When we checked in (at 4:47 pm) we arrived in our room to discover it was not yet cleaned, no bedding, towels, etc. so we waited in the lobby and tried to entertain our children with the free cookies while the very nice housekeeping staff fixed the room. Everything else was very nice, the breakfast and breakfast room, the spacious king room, and the service. But I just can't get over the danger, we won't stay here again. read more

Had a great stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites for five nights. Was in town for a funeral for my father in law. They have great covid precautions and still doing social distancing. They have a time limit for pool usage and you have to use it with the people in your . Breakfast is served to you. They have hot items and cold items. Rooms were clean. Beds are hard. You have to request for your room to be cleaned due to COVID precautions. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel is close to Walmart, Chili's, Wingstop, Chef Lee and Tropical Smoothie. read more

We had a great stay at this hotel. I have never been to Pine Bluff but if I have to come back this is where I will stay. We arrived before check-in was suppose to be and we were able to get our two rooms that we reserved and they were next to each other like we requested. The rooms were clean and so was the lobby. They also had some ice water with cucumber in it there in the lobby for guests to help themselves. There were also cookies at the check in desk for guests...I thought that was really cool. I spoke with Brittany at check-in and she was quick at getting me squared away but wasnt very friendly...:-( Everything was in working order and the morning we were leaving the cleaning ladies were there starting to clean on our floor. They were very nice and asked how the stay was and just asked how we were doing. We OF COURSE tipped the cleaning ladies like everyone should when you stay in a hotel. The city of Pine Bluff is kinda run down and could use a face lift....but I hear that is just more evidence that our government is S#(T and this country needs CHANGE!!!! Such a nice hotel all wasted on a suck staff. This review isn't referencing the nice ladies at the front desk, but the people behind the scenes. The cleaning crew is completely horrible. We were there 4 days and only had service 1 day. And that one day was a very rude day. (July 5th). So we wanted to sleep in a bit late, and wasn't due to check out until 2 days later. So please tell me why my door gets banged on at 11:30 for cleaning? We told the cleaning lady that we aren't ready for a cleaning but to come back later. She said okay but this is my last room. I'm like okay then give me 20 minutes. She said, 10 minutes and I say okay give me 10. 5 minutes later my door gets banged on again and my kid answers the door. It was the supervisor yelling at my kid that they need to clean the room now or it will not get cleaned. I came to the door irate saying I told her 10 minutes so why are you here 5 minutes later yelling at my kid. She goes well my girls need to get off and go home. So we go back and forth a bit and we leave but not before I stopped downstairs to complain to the front desk. They where courteous enough to give me a discount for the night, but for the rest of the stay, we never saw room service again. I so hate that place. Nice spot to stay, but service sucks. The employees have that Pine Bluff mentality that it's just a job and not about service. You will find that attitude in many places in Pine Bluff. read more

BED BUG alert! I stayed here the weekend of July 28th -July 30th. I thought I was getting bit by mosquitoes, until every night I realized new bumps and swelling in my body. It was the last night I stayed, I started searching the beds and found a bed bug crawling on top of the bed I slept on. I put it in a plastic bag and took it down to the front desk their response was " Can we keep it?", I doubt they even investigated my claim. And the hotel management still has the nerve to charge me for 3 nights of feeding their bed bugs. I'm so disgusted with this hotel. Don't stay here unless you want to bring bed bugs home read more

We are here from Louisiana due to hurricane Ida. I called the front desk and asked if they had a crib bed for my son. They said they'll look because they did have some. She called me back and said I'll have one before bedtime. A little while later she called and said they had went to Walmart and got one. It was an act they didn't have to do and I am extremely grateful. The service has been extremely great. They made us very comfortable in this difficult time. read more

This place is the bomb, indoor pool, Jacuzzi, in door gym and free Wi-Fi! I thought the days of free Wi-Fi were over. The hotel is perfectly located to freeway, Walmart, food and shopping. Had family reunion and booked six rooms here. Perfect for family. Breakfast is not a bowl of cereal, it's a full blown breakfast with an amazing staff. Nice indoor pool. You have to see it to believe it. My family was blown away by the customer service. If you get an not so good person on the phone, most likely it's the manager. His phone etiquette is not so great, but the employees are amazing. read more

When I arrived at this one in particular I noticed that guests were hanging out in the breakfast area in the evenings. Perhaps for a night the facility would be okay. Long TERM?! - I. THINK NOT! The service here is awful. I had to stay here a month with my husband who travels a lot with his job. There were many things we didn't like, sad thing is the hotel itself is beautiful. It has all the amenities needed, wireless internet - a little convenience store - a gym with some weights, three cardio machines and medballs - a pool - hottub - lovely breakfast area etc. THE SERVICE HOWEVER, RUINS ANY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE WHATSOEVER! I would have left, first week into our 4 week stay, had his job not already rented all the rooms. CONS - My husbands company had 16-18 rooms rented as they are working on the Aresnal Base here by Pine Bluff. They leave at 5;30 in the morning, breakfast here didn't start till 6;00 AM so they agreed since they were a big group to make "breakfast bags" for the work guys, making bags that included a bagel, fruit etc. A few different mornings my husband would ask for a bag, only to be told by the MANAGER "Oh, I made 11 bags"..(there are 16-18 guys just in our group) my husband then asked if he could get a banana or fruit of some sort from the dining area (the fresh fruit just sits on the counter there) and she looked at him simply saying "No". I have a problem with that, having worked a few years at a hotel myself - front desk - you do WHATEVER you can to accomodate people, if you CANNOT, you kindly explain why you cannot. How hard is it then for a manager to get an apple from the dining area (across from the front desk) if you are out of fruit - KINDLY explain you are out!! Second, being we are all in a big group and carry many things with us, we had asked not to have housekeeping in our rooms unless somone specifically asked, or if we were present. Most of the rooms in our group had DO NOT DISTURB on our doors..However, being I wasn't the one working, and was in our room throughout the day, trust me DO NOT DISTURB will NOT keep management from BARGING in your room UN announced.. Then once they realize you're in the room, they're like "Oh, I was just checking if you needed something"..really? So, you KNOW you're not suppose to go into the company's rooms, there is CLEARLY a DO NOT DISTURB for those of us who stayed during the day, you don't even knock and then your explanation is "I was seeing if you needed something". I sure as hell do, I clearly need you to read and not enter the room. When I brought it to the attention of the manager, he didn't even apologize he simply stated :"Well, we need to get into those rooms, but we don't go barging into them, because we were asked not to enter those 16 rooms your company rented"..yeah, no duh, then what's your two white haired managers doing barging into rooms then?! I stayed in all day once, sick. I had three different times the door was just opened, in one day, a DO NOT DISTURB sign cleary placed on the doorknob. If anything were missing in your stay at Hampton Inn, I would blame management first, if I told the housekeeping ladies on the way out "I don't need service" I wouldn't get any and no one was in my room. If I told them to please clean my room, it was done. However, there were the managers, like clock work, barging into my room every afternoon while my daughter slepts - claiming they were checking to see what I needed. It's simple really...ASK THE MAIDS IF YOU CLEANED MY ROOM OR IF I REFUSED SERVICE, DO NOT GO BARGING INTO MY ROOM. I shouldn't have to deal with you waking my baby and causing my two year old to flip out because he thinks he gets to go outside when the door is open. A Note to managers, find out for yourselves from your maids and their charts who got service. At least the maids did as I asked...too bad they're the only ones with any hospitality. Stay somewhere else and avoid this place at all costs if staying long term and if you per chance stay here, keep your deadbolt, doorstopper up, forget the city or something bad happening, you'll need a deadbolt to keep management from barging in the next time you are "getting freaky" with your partner, breastfeeding a baby, or walking around in the buff, changing your clothes or eating your nose boogers ;) Point is, you may have rented a room, but there is no privacy. read more

Im in a love/hate relationship with this hotel. However, the hate has won. This is the only nice hotel in Pine Bluff, so they don't try too hard to be friendly. My service here has been very inconsistent. Have spent a couple thousand dollars over the last few months and I feel like I am a valuable customer. I'd rather stay in Little Rock and drive here.
