However, the assistant today ( pretty long red hair), she was nice enough but lacks dental assist protocol, her hair not pulled back, her hair brushing on her gloves and touching patient's face (all other staff, hair appropriately pulled back). Have not heard from them at all - even though I stated clearly on Saturday I would give them a poor customer service review for being non responsive. Even if they called me tomorrow I'd ignore their calls like they have ignored mine. Yesterday I was able to book at a different provider for this coming week. Terrible place! My husband went in for an appointment to get cleared for open heart surgery. They told up he needed $2000.00 work done before they would clear him, including two fillings and a crown. They didn't even do a cleaning! When we left he told me he had a bad feeling we were being scammed. Two days later we were able to get in to his regular dentist. It took some convincing on my part but Dr. Baugh sold his office on the first meeting. My fiance was impressed with his professionalism and lack of criticism on his poor dental hygiene. He worked with my fiance to come up with a plan to fix his severe dental issues and not once made him feel bad or discomfort for getting in that position in the first place. I am receiving text messages from this dental office and I am not a patient there and have never been there. Evidently, someone ELSE who USED TO have my number, years ago, has an appointment there but has not updated her phone number with this outfit. I called them as soon as I got the text message from them (which has their telephone number on it) and the snotty receptionist refused to help me. Instead, she gave me a LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE NUMBER for another area code in another state that is their corporate office and told me that I had to call THEM. She should have taken care of this, but couldn't be bothered. Dental offices are a dime a dozen. They'll never get my business and I recommend that no one else go there either. If they can't be bothered to police their own darn text messages, what else will they let slide? No one can afford to risk their health with people who do not follow through and have no attention to detail or customer service. read more

i really liked going here at first. i told the dentist, Dr. Aaron Johnson, i had a lot of anxiety about getting dental work, and he offered me a prescription for an anti anxiety medication to take in the morning before cleanings, and it REALLY helped. after 3 great experiences, i called to schedule a fourth cleaning (one every 6 months) and when i asked about my prescription, they said the Dr. would call me back within 24 hrs. i called 3 times in the month leading up to my appointment and never received the call back i was promised within 24 hrs. when they called me to remind me about my appointment the day before, i asked them why the Dr. had not returned my calls, and they basically called me a drug addict and asked me if i wanted the appointment or not. highly unprofessional and insulting, especially considering the Dr. recommended the medication in the first place. They took x rays, followed by another very long wait, and then the dentist came and talked to me for the first time. He told me I had three cavities that needed to be filled (my first ever) and left. Before I left the office, I caught him in the hall and asked if I could still have my cleaning, and he said no, not until I have the cavities filled. Dr. Aaron Johnson examined my teeth on my initial visit and recommended that I have 6 teeth bonded with a resin where my gums had receded. He told me it would cost a total of 260 dollars. I scheduled for the procedure . The cost was 500 dollars! When I complained about the doubling of the cost he had his receptionist state that the cost was correct at 500 dollars even though his fee schedule stated the cost should have been 130 dollars total! read more

I set up an appointment for this place because it is where i had my root canal done 7 years ago, and back than i would have rated this place 5 stars. not now! i went in for a general check up and obviously after a few years of not being able to see a dentist i needed some work, and the pesky wisdom teeth that never got pulled needed out. I went in to get the work done that i had scheduled, and i was nervous. i was never offered something for my anxiety, nor was I prepared for the work they where going to do only that the doctor was going to do some fillings, and pull a tooth. when i was called back i was lead to a chair looking around all chairs where full including my own, and only one dentist. he came in and gave me 4 injections in the upper part of my mouth than game back an hour later. the dentist started drilling out my back molar and I let him know that it hurt, and he gave me 5 more injections. i declined to have the tooth pulled after that, and i let him finish filling the teeth he had already done. after a couple of hours it felt like someone has kicked me in the side of the face and the whole right side of my face was swollen. i wouldn't come back here unless they hired more dentist so they could do a better job and not have to run from patient to patient. other than the pain I really felt like I was just a number. read more

Dr. Pacheco's staff was unhelpful, unfriendly and incompetent. Dr. Pacheco was condescending, unfriendly and unhelpful and wanted to replace a crown that didn't need replacing ($800 - $900). I listened to my gut and decided not to let him work on me. Details: my first call, his staff told me I could be worked on right after my initial xrays. When i get there they say "we never told you that". I had to wait 45 minutes to be seen, the dental assistant rushed through my bite wing xrays and the whole series had to be redone. Dr. Pacheco came by briefly, barely made eye contact, I tell him his office staff told me he could see me today and he said they never said that and said he will have to do a consultation before he can work on me. I tell him it would have been nice if his staff could have been honest with me on the phone and that I was very explicit about what I wanted. I ask him if I can do the consultation over the phone because it takes and hour to get to his office. He says absolutely not - I have to go to the office. I ask if I can get worked on right after the visit and he says yes. So with his staff I schedule a consultation and time to be worked on after the consultation. The scheduler was rude and unhelpful and made me feel like the patient from hell, despite how accomodating I was trying to be. So when I arrive for this visit I have to wait a half an hour. I ask his staff if he's running late. They curtly reply - "no he's on time". Once I am in the consultation room I have to wait another 15 min. Pacheco sits down with paperwork in his hand and the consultation lasted less than 5 minutes - all he did was say "this is what your insurance will cover and this is what you will owe (for all four quadrants)". I ask if he can give me some paperwork or details for my records (like which teeth need work and how much each tooth costs). He said he can't give any of that info out (!!!!). I can't believe he told me he couldn't do this over the phone. He mentioned that my ceramic crown would have to be removed and replaced. I said I just got it a couple years ago and there's nothing but a little peg of tooth left - is that common for crowns to have to be replaced that often? He said very dismissively and condescendingly, "depends on your hygiene" (implying that I don't brush my teeth). He made another rude/condescending comment but I can't remember what it was. At this point I am so disgusted I decide to go somewhere else, but just for fun I ask if he can still work on me today like he said he could. He says no, it will take too long. Since then I have gone to see a dental office I HIGHLY recommend (Gherardi and Moore). They said there is no cavity underneath the crown and it doesn't have to be replaced. read more

I have only been to this office twice, and I am already certain I will not be returning. First off, on my most recent visit, my appointment was scheduled for 1:00pm, and I wasn't taken back until 1:45pm. There were four people that came in after me that were taken back before me. I had been to this office before, although about 2-3 years ago, and I had to fill out all of the new patient paperwork again because my records were "misplaced". By the time I got back to a room, I was very angry after my 45 minute wait and not a single apology by any of the staff for the long wait. My hygienist was pleasant and nice (the only positive thing about my visit). As I was sitting in the chair, I was reassured that this was not the place for me when there was a clear HIPAA violation as I was listening to the dentist talk to the patient next door about her entire dental history and work (no walls separating patients). After being told that I have 2 cavities (my first ever), the rest of my mouth filled with ones forming, and that I have ground my teeth down enough to have fillings on 2 of them, I was told "Ok, have a nice day." The entire purpose of my visit was for a cleaning!!!! On my way out, I asked the girl checking me out if she could give me a quote and pre-approval from my insurance for the fillings, she said that she couldn't because she had no idea what I needed (even though it was right on my records that she was holding in her hand). I asked her if she could please check because I would like to get the procedure scheduled but wanted to be sure of the cost and approval first, and she said she wouldn't ask the doctor or the hygienist because everyone was busy. She said that she would ask "later" and call me. Well, that was Monday, and it is now Thursday- still no call. I do not trust the dentist to do this procedure or even what he was saying I needed. I made an appointment at this location 1 time and that will be the very last time I am seen here and will never ever recommend anyone to this location. I needed to get Dentures. The staff here, consisted of little boys, that appeared to have just got out of training school, but was never trained. They were running around the office, never ever was professional in the job they were hired to do, and the whole complete experience was horrifying. I then transferred my care to another facility, (not any of the other Comfort Dental clinic's may I add), and the staff here that was in charge of transferring my insurance information to the other facility totaling flopped it. It took a month for the administrative staff (untrained and unprofessional) to finally complete the transfer of my insurance, which delayed my care at the other facility.
