The primary issues are in 6 months I have seen nurse practitioners not doctors. After 6 months of not being listened to I filled a formal complaint with the Illinois Department of Health. I was also interviewing 3 attorneys. All of a sudden the nursing director was fired and I met with the new director of nursing. She genuinely is working to correct the problems. I thanked the new director and I withdrew my health department complaint and stopped talking with the 3 law firms. The facility was moving in a positive direction. I felt that I needed to step back and let the new staff handle it & they are. Where I used to not feel heard I now see progress. For that I am very grateful.
